No workout yesterday as I shopped. So over the rain. Had to drive in it on the way home yesterday as it started right as I was headed home, though was kind enough to wait until I was in the car. Had to do halfway in town and then highway, but then I got off and took the other roads the rest of the way home. Fortunately none of the rain was really heavy, but I hate being on the highway in a total downpour.

Valerie I have YouTube TV and it's not always easy to navigate. I do watch a lot of stuff after it's started, so if I have it in my to be recorded group, I can scroll though the ads. And I'm quite happy to do it that way. If I even start 20 minutes after something and start from the beginning I can avoid them, though if it's long enough I eventually catch up to where I have to see them. For some things watching on my laptop is better and for others the Roku TV is better, but I agree they don't make it easy. I have free YouTube premium for another couple weeks and that I really like as I watch YouTube a lot and it functions way better on the Roku than youtubeTV does. But, I'm not paying to keep it, so I'll just have to go back to clicking though commercials. Great job with stacked upper body.

Carolyn nice job with S 30 Minute Fat Blaster and STS 2.0 Upper Body 2.

Diane Sue great job with CDorner Step 30 minutes and Mish Mosh Parts #2 body parts shoulders and legs. I hope you are able to get your appointment straightened out. How frustrating it all has been for you.

Hi Judy.

This morning I did STS 2 Lower Body 2 timesaver, 1 set only. That was 31 minutes and 137 calories burned. My average heart rate was 115 and maximum heart rate was 139. After that I did Mobility 2 for 19 minutes and 31 calories.

Diane Sue, great job with Body Parts Shoulders and Legs Mish Mosh. It sounds like your doctors office is trying to get your appointment straight.

Cathy, I’m glad that you were able to get your shopping done before the rain got too heavy. I hate driving in downpours.

Waving hello to Valerie and Judy.

we rode this morning, the usual 15 miles. new pedal clips that worked fine. a little nervous after last weekend's fiasco. they take a few uses to loosen up so my foot gets into the opening easily. went Ok today. first time temp has been reasonable. we had a bad blast of heat the last few days. didnt cool down at night either. 90 ish during the day. hard for us even though its not humid. so incredibly dry here. the lawns are dead and leaves are falling from the trees. summer is usually dry here but it seems worse than a few years ago. water falling on the dirt puddles in a pond and doesn't soak in. a lot of fires around, local ones in the mountains here, and ones in BC ( yellowknife) and also along the oregon /california border. no way we will escape smoke in the near future. Cathy we sure could use some of that rain.

Today I did CDorner 30 minute Low Impact Cardio Fat Burning "fun" music. I did not care for the music much. 27 minutes, 152 calories, heart rate 138/155, 3,147 steps. I then did STS 2.0 Standing Abs Metabolic Core + Core Floor, 26 minutes, heart rate 128/156,. I finished off with STS 2.0 Mobility #1, 18 minutes, 27 calories. Total time was 70 minutes, 301 calories, 3,915 steps.

Wednesday I did a short (40 minutes) run outdoors. Yesterday was a rest day with an hour of Yin Yoga. This morning I did 40 minutes of Peloton rides. I tweaked something in my upper back doing heavier weight work this week. I went to the chiropractor today and that seemed to help but I'm going to wait a few days before I do another weight workout just to be safe. Chris is back to working on projects and doing some of the things that got sidetracked earlier this month. He has another week or so before he can start working out again. It will be a challenge for him to not workout too hard and also just to get started back up after a month off.

Cathy-Great job with Body Parts Back and Chest and the cleaning projects. Lack of sleep will definitely mess you up. I’m still recovering from not sleeping well the week that Chris had his surgery. I’m over all this rain too.

Valerie, Great job with Stacked Sets Upper Body and your 15 mile ride.

Carolyn-Great job with JS 30 Minute Fat Blaster, STS 2.0 Upper Body 2, and STS 2 Lower Body 2 timesaver.

Diane Sue-Great job with the CDorner workouts, STS 2 Body Parts Back no repeats, Body Parts Shoulders and Legs Mishmosh Premix, Standing Abs Metabolic Core + Core Floor and Mobility #1.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I also did 30 Minute Kickbox Express. I did it when I woke up and apparently forgot about it. LOL This morning I did STS 2 Body Parts Triceps and the Mat Yoga. It's actually the first time I did the Mat Yoga, and ironically I liked it better than all her previous yoga workouts. Today finished week 11 of the rotation and I made an executive decision to end there and take a few days to do no weights and then start the 10 week rotation I wrote out on Friday. Life hit another snag this morning when Derek headed out for a couple hour drive as he is going to a gathering for the only high school class mate he still keeps in touch with, and he got to the corner and his tire light came on. So, he took my car as he didn't want to miss the chance to see her. I called the Discount Tire we go to and they said if we get there first thing Monday morning they should be able to look at it right away. I want them to make sure it isn't a valve issue first as the tread hasn't reached the point where they should need changing yet. We'll get air in it tomorrow and I'll follow him as it's near the zoo Monday and I would be going to walk there anyway. If we run into issues there, we shouldn't as they have multiple tires that would work and are in stock, we'll have to move all his stuff to my car and he'll take that north and we'll trade later.

Judy that's great that you got in an outdoor run, and nice job with the yoga and Peloton rides. I hope your shoulder issue resolves now.

Diane Sue nice job with 30 minute Low Impact Cardio Fat Burning "fun" music, STS 2.0 Standing Abs Metabolic Core + Core Floor, and Mobility 1. It's too bad that you didn't care for the music. My husband plays music all the time, and unless he's not in the house, is on a work call or asleep, I do mean all the time, and it's definitely not all stuff I like, so I've learned to tune it out. In general, I don't pay attention to the background music of the workouts, just the beat if I'm doing cardio. It's not a skill I'm particularly happy to have had to learn, but it does come in handy.

Valerie that's great that you got new toe clips and were able to get in a good ride. We've had a few cool days now, we were down around 50 last night, but we're going to be heating back up. Though we only have one day that may be over 90. After that we're back to 70's again. My sweet spot.

Carolyn great job with STS 2 Lower Body 2 timesaver, 1 set only and Mobility 2.

Today I did STS 2 Body Parts Triceps and Chest mish mosh #2, 45 minutes, 95 calories, heart rate 88/118. I then did STS 2.0 Active recovery 11 minutes, 45 calories, heart rate 109/139 heart rate. I finished with CDorner Relaxing Neck Mobility 18 minutes, 26 calories. Total time was 74 minutes, 166 calories.

Today is my rest day. I went to the Farmer’s Market, Sprouts, and The Fresh Market for my vegetables. The peaches are all gone and it’s too soon for apples, so no fruit from there.

Valerie, nice job with your usual ride. I’m glad the new pedal clips work well.

Diane Sue, nice job with CDorner Low Impact Cardio, Standing Abs Metabolic Core +Floor, Mobility 1, Body Parts Triceps and Chest, Active Recovery, and CDorner Relaxing Neck Mobility. You had a very busy two days of workouts!

Judy, great job with your outdoor run, Yin Yoga, and Peloton ride. I hope that your back is feeling better.

Cathy, nice job with 30 Minute Kickboxing Express, Body Parts Triceps, and Mat Yoga.

I am getting things ready for family birthdays tomorrow.

Carolyn, nice work on STS 2 Lower body timesaver 1 set only yesterday along with mobility 2. I have been buying peaches a lot, but the last batch of organic ones I purchased were almost too ripe so I sliced them up and froze them for smoothies.

Cathy, nice work getting in STS 2 Body Parts Triceps and Mat yoga. I really like the mat yoga and find it and mobility 1 favorites. I have found if the music is not good I do not have much desire to do the workout. There may be a very small few that I go to because I find the workout moves fun. That particular cardio had a lot of stuff that I really did not know and some Janet Jackson. When it was posted as fun I expected something fast and fun sounding, and it was disappointing. Weight workouts are easier to ignore background music on. Music is not played often in my house. I listen to some, but really enjoy the calm of silence and listening to life surroundings. Husband has the TV on whenever he is home. He is not a fan of music. Whenever my car lights up saying tires it is usually the tire pressure. That seems to happen with weather changes from hot to chilly. At one house I had to check for nails as I picked up those quite often.

Judy, nice work on the run, peloton ride, and yin yoga this week. I hope your back is okay. I hate when something gets pulled doing weights. That is great that Chris is up and doing things again. Hopefully he will go slow at getting back into weights again.

Valerie, nice 15 mile ride and glad the new pedal clips worked out. We have had quite a bit of rain this summer, but boy when it gets hot everything seems scorched. It was 104 the last time I looked today. I have had to go out and water my shrubs and potted plants daily as that heat does a job on them. My hydrangea looke sad this morning even though I had watered it last night. It looked wilty and edges of some of the leaves are crunchy. Same with the potted azaleas and I moved them back on the patio out of the direct sun.
