Today I did a 30 minute Peloton ride and STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch.

Diane Sue-Great job with STS 2 Upper Body 2 and Chair Yoga. I tried taking a collagen supplement but it bothered my stomach. I’ve been going to chiropractors since I was a teenager. I think you are right about arthritis and chiropractic. I’m finding that the adjustments aren’t helping me quite as much as they did when I was younger. Adjustments help my hips and lower body but they really don’t do anything for my shoulders, since that is most likely arthritis.

Cathy-Great job with STS 2 Upper Body 2.

Carolyn-Great job with Cardio Quick Fix workout one. I love the express premixes and I think they will help me keep up with STS 2 until I feel comfortable doing the full workouts. I’m hoping to restart the rotation in the fall.

Valerie-Nice ride today! That is horrible that people leave garbage for others to deal with and clean up. I hate to see that. I didn’t realize there were lizards there. I had to google alligator lizard.

judy they look sort of like a chameleon. not big. skinny and small with a long whippy tail. brownish like dry dirt. remember the America song about "alligator lizards in the sky" referring to clouds. western WA is pretty wet. these guys spend winter in a small greenhouse structure we built and also in our brick outside walls. produce babies every year. eastern WA is much drier and has more lizards and snakes.

I found from answers to my post that the view spot was clear and clean at 7 pm last night so it was a late night party. this area is set aside mainly for horsepeople who don't like mt bikes or bikers much. now when I post anything I refer to us "riding" but I dont mention whether its a horse or a bike. still, the people who made the mess probably had neither.

This morning I did STS 2.0 Lower Body 2, express premix, 2 sets maximum. That was 46 minutes and 187 calories burned. My average heart rate was 114 and maximum heart rate was 155. I had to go to the grocery store this morning and I did that as soon as I finished my workout. The temperature is going to be high nineties today and I wanted to go out and get back home as soon as possible.

Valerie, it’s good that you were able to ride at the tree farm, but how upsetting that someone left all of that trash. Folding table and hand truck! That’s crazy.

Judy, great job with the 30 minute Peloton ride and STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch. Are you having to deal with the bad air quality?

Hello to Cathy and Diane Sue.

This morning I did STS 2 Mobility 1 before shopping. We're still under an air quality warning through tomorrow. It's not as bad here as other places, and to me today seems better. Smoke has given me headaches since I was a kid, couldn't sit in the smoke of a campfire without getting sick. So, I've been walking around the yard less than usual. I've seen people in Marquette talking about how bad it is at times and someone posted the other day that they got caught in the rain with bare skin and it left red marks on the skin from the chemicals in the fires. They are closer than we are here. It is hot and humid though and going to be hotter tomorrow.

Carolyn great job with KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix and STS 2.0 Lower Body 2, express premix.

Valerie I'm glad the trash got cleaned up quickly. Sadly it seems to be an issue in a lot of natural areas. Little lizards like that are fun, and they do eat pests.

Judy great job with 30 minute Peloton ride and STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch. That stretch is my new favorite.

My grandson is supposed to be here soon. Today I did STS body parts legs, 51 minutes, 119 calories. I would feel better about weight workouts if I got close to what the workout manager has. It has something like 397 calories on this workout. That is it for me today. I had groceries come and now have to go order my collagen powder as somehow, I did not get it on my Walmart order.

Carolyn-yes, the air quality is pretty bad here. I've been staying inside as much as I can and we bought 2 HEPA air purifiers. It's crazy how far that smoke is reaching.

Did stacked upper body half way today. added 4 more reps onto each set, went up in weight on almost all but only went thru it once. not shoulder presses, 10 lbs is max for me there, but almost everything else. then did x train core 1 and therapy work.

sorry you are getting bad air. it's unfortunately the future. we haven't had smoke here yet this year but its early yet. we can get smoke from CA and from British columbia/Alberta, and from eastern WA. last summer we had a fire 50 miles from here that went on forever. sometimes smoke gets bad in MT too, but every year is different. we shut the windows and turn on the air. not much else you can do.

This morning I did STS 2.0 Upper Body 2, express premix with 1 set. My time was 56 minutes with 252 calories burned. My average heart rate was 120 and maximum heart rate was 161. I had a Telemedicine appointment with my primary care doctor to review my blood work. My cholesterol levels are looking good. He has wanted me to take medication but I have been resisting that option for over a year and have focused on managing it through my diet. My LDL was only slightly elevated and I didn’t want to take a medication for that. I’m happy to see that it has improved.

Cathy, nice job getting Mobility 1 done before shopping.

Diane Sue, great job with Body Parts Legs.

Judy, it’s good that you have the air purifiers. Hopefully the air is starting to improve. Ours is unhealthy, but more from ground level ozone rather than the smoke. It gives me a headache if I spend much time outside.

Valerie, nice job with Stacked Sets Upper Body, XTRAIN Core, and therapy exercises.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

This morning I did STS 2 Upper Body 1. While our air quality is better today, it's also real feel 101. Ugh Quite stifling outside. I just walked and will probably go again in a couple hours. One of the cats hasn't shown up today and while it's not unusual, generally he shows up when I walk so he can flop in front of me and get petted.

Carolyn nice job with STS 2.0 Upper Body 2. That's great that your cholesterol levels are good.

Valerie great job with Stacked Sets Upper Body.

Diane Sue nice job with STS body parts legs. I agree that there are some weak spots on the workout cards. The main thing I wish is that they showed the number of reps. Cathe doesn't always say either. Enjoy your time with your grandson.

Today I just did STS 2 Active Recovery + total body stretch for 35 minutes. I spent the day with my grandson and my husband and I took him out for dinner and ice cream.

This morning I did STS 2 Lower Body 1. Well had an hour of stress yesterday. Nick needed to be on campus in time to get his room key etc so he could move in as he's going to stay there through July. Of course, he had to work the overnight shift. Got to his hotel and promptly fell into a very deep sleep. He has never woken up well and exhaustion finally got him. He had a late checkout at 2, but tells me if he isn't up by 1 to try and get him up. Now, I'm not sure how he expected me to do that since he always keeps his phone silent and he didn't tell me what hotel he was at. I used Find My Phone to locate him, and got the hotel number. 1:00 comes and goes with no text, so I call the hotel and ask for his room. No answer. Wait 10 minutes or so and try again. No answer and desk person tells me they had tried to call him earlier. So, by 1:30 and no answer, I ask if they can knock on his door. No response. Finally a few minutes before his check out, I talk to someone with more clout and they go up to his room. They didn't want to go in until his check out passed, though I told them he would not be upset. That time he finally heard them! Ugh Under other circumstances I'd have just let him deal with the consequences of sleeping past check out, but if he didn't make it to campus, with the holiday weekend, he probably wouldn't have gotten into his room until Wednesday, and he does not need to be spending that much on hotels! His Dad has the link to do the guarantor for the house he'll be in, so hopefully this is the last of the housing drama.

Diane Sue great job with STS 2 Active Recovery + total body stretch for 35 minutes. Glad you enjoyed your day with your grandson.

Today is my rest day. It’s so hot with a triple digit heat index which makes for a miserable day. I went to the Farmer’s Market earlier than usual but so did everyone else! It was very crowded with long lines for the peach vendor and my other favorites.

Diane Sue, nice job with Active Recovery and Total Body Stretch. I’m sure that you enjoyed the day with your grandson and husband. Those are times to treasure.

Cathy, great job with STS 2.0 Upper Body 1 and Lower Body 1. That sounds like quite a day that Nick had. I’m glad that you were able to help him out long distance.

Hello to Valerie and Judy.

Today I did a 45 minute Peloton Power Zone Ride, 25 minutes of easy scenic rides and 20 minutes of Peloton arm work.

Valerie-Great job with stacked upper body, xtrain core and therapy work.

Carolyn-Great job with STS 2.0 Upper Body 2, express premix. That’s really good about your cholesterol! I hope you had a nice rest day. I’m sorry about the excessive heat there. The air quality is better here today but I’m sure it will be bad again soon.

Cathy-Great job with STS 2 Upper and Lower Body 1. I’m sorry about your hour of stress. I’m glad it turned out ok.

Diane Sue-Great job with STS 2 Active Recovery + total body stretch.

Rode our regular road ride yesterday, 15 miles and hour and 15. today I did stretches and therapy work. tomorrow we will do another road ride.

cathy that is amazing. I never heard of anyone being able to sleep thru things like that. maybe he could wear something that vibrates to wake him up? I am the opposite and cant sleep thru anything and neither is good.

we had deer get into our garden again, but we caught them before they did any damage. we need to replace our netting . too many places are not perfect anymore. its plastic netting and it gets small holes and they will find any little hole and get through. no clue how the good size deer got thru the tiny hole but he did, antlers and all.
