Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 6/05/2022

I agree, "what's in store" info can be misleading. we drive 65 miles each way to pick one up, so planning to buy it ahead so guaranteed it will be there. all I need is a simple top freezer model, white, reversible door hinge, 20 cu ft in a brand like whirlpool, LG. should be about $800 but I want to know its there and that they can load it in our truck for us.

did stacked upper body and extra push ups and curls.

Yesterday I did Kelly Coffey Build and Burn Cardio Core, doing some of the modifiers and switching moves when it was squat thrust or the planks. This was 28 minutes, 158 calories, heart rate 132/158, 2012 steps.
I followed with Build and Burn Trim and Tone Intervals premix cardio, 14:48 minutes, 78 calories, 1221 steps. I finished off with Perfect Flow mobility timesaver mobility basic stretch + a bit of foam rolling 26 minutes 32 calories, heart rate 73/91. Total time was 68 minutes, 268 calories, 3,233 steps. I am giving myself more recovery time between pt exercises as I feel that is making my neck and ribs hurt.
We had more thunderstorms yesterday, but the sun came out in the afternoon.
Today I did CDorner Aerobics/Hiit/Stretch 20/20/20 All In One, 58 minutes (I skipped a little) heart rate 95/128, 163 calories, 3209 steps. I liked the workout and she did give some alternative moves, although the down to the floor ones I did not try today. They mess with my shoulders and neck. This was a hi/lo workout for 20 minutes, then a hiit which included some loop band work between some of the cardio hiit moves which seemed longer than 20 minutes, but maybe it was just me as she added bonuses and ended with pick one of three moves to finish as these were timed, then a nice 20 minute stretch. She says you can choose separate ones if you want, although I couldn't see how to do that as there is a warm up and she talks for about 10 minutes I think.
My grandson will be here starting tomorrow for 10 days :D
I am wondering if I can just go ahead and get the scan done that is scheduled for the lung nodules and have them send results to my primary doctor and bi pass the pulmonologist. I guess I won't know till I call.

Valerie, I think it is best to be sure the item is in the store. We have had the worst time getting things. We waited so long to get our dining table and suddenly one similar from Ashley furniture showed up on Amazon and they shipped it out right away. We waited several months and had to reorder as one time it was canceled on delivery day as they said they did not have one available.
That is one of the reasons we spent 350 dollars to repair our dishwasher over trying to go out and find one. Sometimes we have been lucky. We would be in trouble if our refrigerator in the garage quit as that is where all of the meat and most frozen stuff is stored. The bottled water and sodas would survive though.

Carolyn, I am sorry that you still are having pain. I sleep with a wedge under my legs. I still have been getting up with low back pain. I am not sure why. I thought going back to lying flat on my back would take care of it.

Judy nice work with the 4 mile walk run.

Cathy, I remember doing Bun Burners and Ball. I am a light sleeper, no way could someone work out in the same room. My husband tries really hard not to wake me up when he comes in at 5 in the mornings. I sometimes hear his car before he even opens the garage door because I am such a light sleeper.

Shopped yesterday and then took Nick to the airport. Nice fast trip there and back. Plane came in early from Fort Worth and I pulled in the drive at the same time they started boarding. Fast flight, too, as they arrived in Fort Worth ahead of schedule. Would love it if his flights at Christmas were like that, especially as opposed to the mess we had in January.

Today I did My Finished Combos. Connection between TV and iPad went bad about 10 minutes in and I ended up finishing with just the iPad. Fortunately, I know it well enough that I don't really need to watch, just instructions. Hopefully it was a one time fluke. The only problem I run in to with that workout is moves that are similar but not the same. There are three or four moves that trip me up at times because I try to do the one from a different workout.

Valerie definitely better to know ahead of time that they absolutely have what you want. Hope it works out for you. Been holding my breath for a couple years now on our fridge. It's now 27 years old! Not pretty but still working.

Judy nice job getting the 4 miles in!

Carolyn I hope you are able to resolve your issue soon. Pain in that area hard for so many every day motions.

Diane Sue enjoy your visit with your grandson, it'll go by too fast. I know Nick's did.

Did gardening yesterday but mostly took a day off. planned on riding this morning but surprise, its raining even tho forecast was for a sunny day. maybe later today? who knows? a pretty ongoing unpleasant forecast that is not usual for now.

cathy that's nice when all schedules line up and all works like it should.
I am not picky about a fridge. we are a long way from major stores, need to pick it up ourselves. should our main fridge fail, it would be a mad scramble to find one and get it moved. likely all in contents would need to be dumped. . a non fancy garage fridge is maybe overkill or not. we had fridges, washers, dryers that lived for 30 years. newer appliances... not likely any more. fridges were hard to find for the last 2 years and who knows for sure about availability. so small, simple, Ok for a garage.

I’m still taking it easy. Walking is not as painful as it has been and things seem to be healing slowly. Yesterday I put in a small grocery order and did curbside pick up. It’s not my favorite way to shop, but it was okay.

Judy, nice job with the 4 mile run/walk.

Valerie, I hope that you can find the refrigerator that you want for your garage. It’s certainly best to make sure that it’s in stock before you drive to the HD store. Nice job with stacked upper body and gardening.

Diane Sue, great job with KCM Build and Burn Cardio Core, Trim and Tone, Perfect Flow Mobility timesaver. I’m sure that you will be happy to have your grandson staying with you.

Cathy, I’m glad that your son had a good flight to Fort Worth.

Enjoy the afternoon.

I did Loops, Bands and Weights Oh My! this morning. Good total body workout.

Carolyn I'm glad things seem to be getting better for you. I hope it continues.

Valerie that's really too bad about the rain. I sure hope you are able to get out and ride soon. We have potential rain the next couple days and we really don't need it. Then for real fun (NOT) we're going into the 90's for a few days.
