Today I did Kelly Coffey Cardio Fit Warm up from her Bonus Raw step box, then the premix Hi/Lo cardio 28 minutes, 103 calories, heart rate 108/143. O then did a CDorner that I had saved doing another Kelly warm up and then her 30 minutes, Inner Thighs and Abs which uses a Pilates ball for most and a dumbbell (she uses 15#) for squats and side to side lunges only. I used a 5# and held it low instead of cupped at my chest. Time spent was 40 minutes, 108 calories, heart rate 97/134. I did not want to pick up more weight than I am at PT yet. Both are good workouts. Total time was 68 minutes, calories burned 211, 2,845 steps.
My shoulder is sore from the body blade. I can't get it to move much as I move it. It would take a while to get that strength to get the ends to sort of bounce. I keep going back and looking at the Pro one which looks like the one the PT has and looking at the exercises. I guess you have free access to usage videos online. It was designed by a physical therapist. I think I might like to have one. I put it in my list to think about. I see a lot of knock offs on Amazon.
Valerie, what is an e bike? I have not heard that reference before. I understand wanting to enjoy the rides and avoid lot of people. It takes away from the calm of getting out to enjoy nature.
When I had facebook we did a lot of messenger stuff which is really just like texting except I always wondered if they monitored the conversations. Not enough privacy there.
Carolyn, nice workout yesterday. I keep eyeing Step Sync and am so indecisive right now when I go in to workout. Hence starting with warm ups, looking at a workout and changing my mind. Eventually I will come up with a plan. My shoulder was really sore after PT yesterday so nothing other than PT. That Body Blade move is tough. I can see why it is a way to strengthen those small places in the shoulder. I checked on Amazon and it only weighs 2.5# . It is the movement and bending that causes the muscles to react. I am not very good at going out and coming back home to a workout. I also am not good at first thing in the morning like I used to do years ago. I like to enjoy my morning time before I go out or work out. That is why I schedule PT for late morning. Usually 11 o'clock.
