Today I did some more Walk Strong 3 workouts. Not many calories though, but much more work than one would think. I did Tone and Flow which I really liked as it kept moving, I used 5# dumbbells, 32 minutes, heart rate 86/124, 74 calories, 1,049 steps. I followed with Barre Sculpt and was really surprised at how different it was since she incorporates dumbbells (I used 5#) and a play ball or pilates ball, heart rate 90/126, 31 minutes, 62 calories, 787 steps. I finished off with the floor portion of Yoga Stretch, 13 minutes, 14 calories, 82/99 heart rate and the 15 minute Total stretch which I added a bit to so was 18 minutes, 75/85 heart rate, 17 calories, 19 steps. Total time today was 94 minutes, 169 calories, 1,869 steps.
I won't know about my order till my husband is able to go get it between 5 and 6. He is working nights and that was the earliest delivery I could get today. I was trying to do the delivery so that he didn't have to get up and run an errand before he goes to work.
I keep getting e mails from the grocery stores that I shop at about what they are doing through the Covid19 crisis. It seems they all having staff stay home if they are sick at all and with pay and upping cleaning counters and frequently touched areas even more. Sprouts always has employees cleaning stuff anyway though.
Valerie, I usually go to the store a couple of times a week for fresh produce. I don't want to buy stuff and have it spoil before I use it. My mother used to make Spam and eggs a lot. I liked it when I was a kid. It is way to salty. Even the lower sodium one. The blood sausage reminds me of my dad liking pickled pigs feet. It was so disgusting. I used to try to set something in front of it on the table so I did not have to look at it. I have gotten to particular about what is in my food. Processed meat products are generally the parts of the meat that no one would really want, with fillers and flavoring to make it sell. It is Icky!!
I am healing gradually, but I sure wish the redness and bruising would dissipate faster. I told my daughter that I was surprised they wanted to wait 2 weeks to remove the stitches. From what I read they usually do it in 5-7 days. My daughter says that is what she does with her patients, but she guesses they must have a reason. I probably should have went to one of the doctors that she know their work. But, once I went to this one, following what I had read was Medicare guidlines, and they were setting up an appointment to do it, I just went for it rather than go to another doctor that was not so close to go through everything again.
Carolyn, I hope since they are taking precautions that the virus will slow down it's progress. I never buy in bulk because I do not have a place to put it. Even when I purchase for family dinners, some items have to stack on top of the refrigerator because they do not fit in my cabinets. Same for t paper. I buy a 12 roll pack and disperse between the 3 bathrooms. That is it.
My biggest worry is all of this hoarding frenzy will make it difficult when some of us really need something. You would think there was a famine coming. Oh, and price gouging is really annoying too. I thought Amazon said they were going to watch their 3rd party sellers and make sure it does not happen. I looked at Kraft Macaroni and Cheese this morning and Amazon was the seller, it was 19.95 for 5 boxes. THat is ridiculous. About 3 times as much as if I went to Dollar General per box. They also took their discount off of groceries on my ibotta app.
