Lots of cleaning and catch-up work inside and out around here today. Now I am exhausted. (in a good way) I spent some time this morning watching bits of some of Kelly's newer workouts. I ordered her Cardio Fit dvd even though I know the workout is on Raw, I want the premixes and she does have hi/lo cardio alone, and kickboxing alone. I think I might be able to use those and the lighter weight mix in will be good when I am ready to get started on that.
Valerie, the only problem I have had with jewelry is cheap earring posts leaving green on my ears. Most of my jewelry is gold, white gold, and some silver. My husband likes gold. I am not picky on that myself. Cheaper jewelry, I don't have to worry about losing or keeping it in my purse when we travel rather than leave it in a hotel or something. I did not mind the piercing so much till it was off of lips, brows, nose, in multiples. But, the attitude got to be too much for me. At first the hairdresser seemed really nice. I could text him and he would get me in right away. He just seemed to be going down the wrong path or something. He got weirder as time went by. As far as tats, I mainly find that too many young people get carried away. So far none of my grandchildren have went the route of tats. At least as far as I can see. My son got one when he was young on his arm and later his ankle, but no one else. Yes, I have seen some that have tried to remove that tats and they end up with faded tats, but not completely removed. On the face is taking it too far I think. I cannot imagine being a wrinkled up old person with tats all over the face. To me it is such a waste of lots of money and the beauty of flawless skin.
My roots look almost silver white now. I waited a long time to color after surgery and could see really well. I kept trying to paint them with Madison Reed root touch up powder. That just helps it to blend a bit. I use that stuff on my eyebrows, particularly if I use a brow gel that is a bit too dark as I can use the yellowy color to tone down the dark. Hard to find good blonde shade eyebrow make up and mine are thin. The Nature tint hair color company I buy my hair color all of the time from emailed and said their prices were going up this month so I purchased two 6 box orders, which is discounted so they cost me about 9 dollars a box. At Sprouts it is usually 17.99 unless there is a sale. Sometimes I have been getting it a little less from Whole Foods. I got tired of Madison Reed and trying to make sure I ordered in time to get a box mailed and I did not want to do their subscription. Also at 25.00 + it was a lot. What I use is pretty mild and lots of botanicals and oils in it. Works well for me.
Cathy, those meso 3 workouts are really long. For some reason I had a lot of energy today. Generally I have been feeling fatigued in the mornings. Once I come home from PT I feel like I need a nap or something. Maybe it is because I am getting more rest lately. I bet your sons have fun teasing you like that. Sounds like something mine would do. Him and his son are big teases and jokesters. My son and I used to play pranks back and forth. One time he taped a real looking rubber snake under the lid to the washer. He laughed so hard when I opened the top and squealed. Even as an adult, one time he put a rubber band around the sprayer on the kitchen faucet. I didn't notice and turned the water on and was doused. Talk about a room full of him and grandchildren laughing. So, was the hair color wash out color?
Carolyn, nice work with Cardio Fit. I am anxious to get my dvd. I thought about trying it on the Raw channel, but I would have to spend time forwarding through weights and portions I could not do. I still love the premix options on dvds.
That is wonderful that you have a hairdresser that you know well and are comfortable with. I would enjoy chatting with someone that was religious. So that would be a plus for me. I hadn't thought about hair straightener and breast cancer, but I can see the problems with chemicals. This was the first time we have tried a bed and breakfast type place. I always thought it would be more of a room and sharing a bath which seemed more like going to one of the hotels in England when I was a kid. That did not sound fun as I remember standing outside of a bathroom as a kid waiting for some adult sitting in the bathroom with a newspaper that walked out later. Very unpleasant. This was totally different with double tub and walk in shower with double sinks in our suite. Also had extras like candles around the tub and they bought a bouquet of flowers with meals and on the tables for breakfast. Everything was beautiful and relaxed. The only time we saw anyone else was the gentleman that owned it and he was just around so if you needed anything he would get it for you. Other wise it was just breakfast and 3 other couples at their own tables.
Judy, nice work with the Peloton ride. I am sure you got so many steps in that a workout is not necessary.
