Good morning,

Agility class yesterday. It was an eventful one, we had a dog attack another dog. Not fun. The dog is fine, it had an ear tear, which bleeds profusely, which can be scary until you find that it is only the ear. The dog is okay, lucky it was only a small cut. It could have been a lot worse. We went to see a play called "1984" last night. I guess it loosely followed the book. Very disturbing scenes. The concept is disturbing as well. Makes you think about things, for sure.

Valerie, thanks for all the WW info!

Diane Sue, your dinner sounds great. However, I don't think I could opt for salmon in an Italian restaurant. That coconut cream pie sounds delicious.

Carolyn, great job on KPC. I like the idea of the food being converted to points. I can see how you would be frustrated with the crowds when shopping. Shopping itself is frustrating, no need for lots of people, lines etc.

Hi to Lori & Judy,

Take care,

Good morning. I did a premix from Revd up rumble, then the pyramid shoulders and an 6 pk abs. stuck it in right before dinner, busy day yesterday. our septic tank over flowed  taking priority. not as bad as it sounds but it got our attention. we had debated getting it pumped before we left for a week. decided on after. now we will get it done this week since we are letting our trip slide for a few more days. there is a filter issue so we will schedule for early this week. a surprise, not expected. it was weird we had discussed it the day before and suddenly tank made the decision for us.

Deb awful about the dog fight. are all the dogs the same breed or is it a mixture of different dogs?

keeping track of points is less math than calories and with free foods, less challenge to plan. WW wants you eating a nutritious diet, filling up on good food rather than junk, or cycling thru feast/starve cycles. slow but steady loss. it becomes a lifestyle. obviously many people go on "diets", lose weight, and then return to "normal" eating habits and regain it all plus more. I haven't been hungry and have lost a little, not a lot, but I'm close to goal weight and loss slows down. I always ate a lot of vegies, but I eat more fruit now and have cut down to smaller servings of pasta, cereal, and bread. I still eat them, but less quantity, less often. I never ever eat red meat, cured meat. Ugh. I don't consider it food.
I entered some recipes into the WW data base when beans, tofu, grains had points. beans, tofu are 0 now, whole grains less than they were. cheese is always hard for me. I love cheese. I wont eat process/ fake cheese. I will change recipes one at a time when I re-make them.

Today is a much needed rest day. I usually avoid shopping on Saturday because of the crowds. Yesterday was poor planning on my part.

Deb, that’s terrible about the dog fight. I’m glad that the dog was okay. I wonder what set the other dog off.

Valerie, I can sympathize with you on the septic tank issues. We’ve been there. It can get expensive, too.

Diane Sue, our anniversary is coming up next month. It will be 49 years for us.

Hello to Lori and Judy. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Foam Roller Stretch before going to church. I have some outside things I need to get done this afternoon. I made a chicken curry soup yesterday since I am down to only a couple of bowls of soup in my freezer. Today I put the rest of my roasted butternut squash in a bowl and poured some of the soup over it and it made a yummy lunch. I started using some Boiron Histamine blocking pellets and they seem to be helping a lot with the allergies. I first took the Allergy formula which helped but not as much as the Histamine one is. I like that these are not causing me any side effects. Also I am taking a histamine blocking probiotic. I am hoping for a better allergy season this year.
I had hoped to do some therapy rolling techniques that I had saved on youtube, but youtube was not working for me for some reason. I just got an hour glass and then it would go blank.
We had some heavy storms yesterday. The hail was big and Gertie was whining because it sounded like it was going to come through the skylights and our sun room ceiling. They did have a broken skylight in a big store they showed on the news. Some was golf ball size. Most that I saw were more like the large boulder marbles.

Deb, that is too bad there was a dog attacking another yesterday. Yes, the ears can bleed like crazy. Our great dane used to flop her hears around and they would hit our textured wall and split sometimes. That and her tail. I often wondered if that is why people originally cropped their ears. I never wanted to do that to her. I guess the same goes for docking tails which seems really mean to me. Those areas are really hard to bandage and stop bleeding on. Is the dog that attacked still going to be allowed to participate? A lot of the time when we eat there I get the artichoke lasagne. It is so good. I was trying to stick to my somewhat careful eating to avoid histamine, but the dessert, cheese, and bread was not good so I might as well have had the pasta. But, I do love the salmon and the way that they prepare it.

Valerie, that is good that you are going to get the septic system taken care of before you leave. Less to worry about when you return. Fake cheese and cheese food or whatever they call it is gross. If I am going to eat some, I want the real thing. Not something you lay down and it melts and sticks to the counter top.

Carolyn, enjoy your rest day. You do so well with your rotations. I lucked out when we had the aerobic septic system. Our neighbors over filled and they had had theirs done around the same time we had so I called and had mine and it was close. We had someone come out every few months and service it and check the filter in the box and stuff.

Good evening ladies,

I last posted on Monday. The weeks just fly by for me. Thought I had posted since then. Perhaps I dreamt I did!! I worked out everyday. Chelsie and I never met up as she had a nasty cold. Glad she did not come over. I love her but did not want to get sick. I managed to not get my husbands cold too!! I changed SBF rotations. The one I started I soon realized this was the one with way too many stretching days for me and light workouts. I am doing a rotation from 2015 now and so far this week has been good. Tuesday was a feel good arms with cardio, wednesday butt lift - which is a combination of standing and matt leg work. Thursday was an upper body that had a lot of planks. Side planks bother my shoulders so I did what I could then modified doing some standing core with weights. Linda Woolridge came out with a new bounce workout which I liked a lot. I did it twice last week :p, when I had time after SBF. Friday and Saturday I did LEKfit bounces that included the upper and lower weighted intervals. Both had standing legs. She reps you to death and you really feel the burn. Today was a much needed rest day.

Looks like some great workouts were done last week.

Judy...3 weeks out is way better than what you thought. Are you still working long days?

Valerie...I agree you only can do so much to help your cousin. He needs to take responsibility and listen to your advice. I do not mind the taste of celery juice - now that I am used to it! Yes it is salty, but it has been amazing for my digestion so I have learned to like it.

Deb...I just paused KCM Raw for 3 months effective the end of this month. I do not use it enough. I should cancel my Live for a while. I really do not do the live workouts like I used to. Maybe 2x a month. Oh the poor dog!! I bet you have seen a few fights over the years. I have the kindle book 1984 but have not read it yet. I will get to it one of these days. We finally watched Green Book yesterday and thought it was a great movie. I love Viggo Mortenson and thought he was great in this role. (I have been a fan since he played a main character in The Lord of The Rings Trilogy.) I watched a few youtube videos about their real life frendship they developed after this road trip. They remained close friends until they both past in 2013.

Carolyn...it really is easy for me to resist the deserts I make. I am so used to only having a little here and there. This weekend my family wanted more cheesecake. You would think they would be sick of it by now. I made another plain one, different recipe and it really was a keeper. I actually made homemade mayo today in my vitamix. We loved it.

Diane Sue...soup over butternut squash sounds really good. I love butternut squash anything. In the fall my company offers butternut squash ravioli. Omg...so delicious. That hail sounds so scary. Poor gertie. :( hopefully the Raw metabolic workout will be up before my membership is paused. This is one I would like to try out. Otherwise, it will be 3 months before I do it. I always remove the stems from spinach. One of the reasons I do not like arugula. To many stems. Turns me off.

Have a great night all!

Lori, nice job on the workouts. I am glad that you did not get the cold from your husband. Mine has one now and I have been trying to avoid it. He thinks it is because I ran out of vitamins and quit giving them to him. Last time he was really sick I had started making sure that he had vitamins and extra vitamin C every morning. I make my own mayonnaise all of the time. It tastes so much better than store bought and it is so easy to make. I like to use a nut oil or avocado oil for it and as part of the oil I add a little MCT oil. It works nice for salad dressings. The Raw metabolic workout is up now. It is 6 moves done 6 times. You choose a set of weights to use and move them up as you progress. It is not too long of a workout which is nice about Kelly's workouts because I can add others to it. :)

Viruses transfer most of the time by touching common surfaces, and then touching your face, eyes, nose. its hard to remember not to touch your face but it will prevent most cold virus transfer. I take vit C and zinc because I think it can't hurt, but the biggest factor is hand washing, sanitizer, and not transferring cold virus to yourself by touch.
we did a mt bike today 6-7 miles , things have melted out completely in low elevations. pleasant, lots of cars when we got there. but it was a search & rescue dog training class and we never saw the people at all. one group of horse people we saw 2x.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday.

Valerie, ugh....too bad about the septic tank, but good it happened while you were there and not in MT. The dogs at the club are all breeds. These 2 happened to be a Dalmatian and a Portuguese Water Spaniel. Both females. The Dal has had issues in the past, but never at the club. She is no longer welcome at the club. We do not tolerate any aggression. First rules we tell people. " your dog does not bite the trainer, does not bite you, and does not bite another dog."

Carolyn, hope you had a nice rest day. What set the dog off ( and this is no excuse) was the fact that the one dog was having a lot of fun and barking while running the course. The dog that attacked it was grumbling while watching it run. The owner had a leash on, but was stepping on it while he was tying his treat bag on. Unfortunately, when the other dog came off the course, his dog was able to just lunge and attack the other dog.

Diane Sue, good that the new histamine blocker seems to be working. Poor Gertie with the hail. I believe one of the reasons they dock ears and tails is exactly what you described. The ears are so thin that a slit/break is easy to do. As for the dog that attacked, they were politely asked to not return. Would be interested in your mayo recipe.

Lori, great workouts! Why 3 month hiatus from KCM Raw? I sure miss my Cathe Live workouts. Amazingly, this is the first dog fight I have seen at the club where there was blood. Mostly they are on leashes, kind of lunge and bark but the owners are in control and can separate quickly. It was a fluke that the guy was only stepping on his leash and did not have 100% control of the dog, the moment the other one came off the course. Your cheesecakes sound like a real hit! What recipe did you use to make your own mayo?

Judy, hope you did not have to work all weekend.

Take care,

This morning I did part of Maximum Intensity Cardio. I omitted the high impact segment and moved on to the step section. My time was 52 minutes with 385 calories burned. My average heart rate was 131 and maximum heart rate was 157. The low impact was very much like Cardio Party. When I was previewing the workout this weekend I realized that I had never done it before. No wonder I didn’t remember it :). It’s on the same dvd as Rhythmic Step.

Lori, I’m glad to see your post. I missed you last week! It’s great that you have been keeping up with your workouts. I’ve made avocado mayonnaise in the Vitamix and it was delicious. I don’t make it often because I rarely eat mayonnaise. I wish I had some today to mix with a fresh tuna steak for lunch.

Diane Sue, it’s good that you got in the foam roller stretch yesterday. Stretching makes such a difference. I need to make some more soup for the freezer. I made black bean soup Friday, but I managed to get one container in the freezer. My husband ate the leftovers for his lunch.

Hello to Deb, Lori, and Valerie.

Hi Everyone,

I need to get caught up on posting. Thursday I did 4 Day Split Lower Body; Friday was a rest day. Saturday I did KCM Raw Ascending Pyramids, Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Legs & Glutes Finisher. Yesterday I did a 45 minute Peloton ride.
I worked Friday and Saturday. I had Sunday off, which was really nice. I do feel like I am adjusting to the physical demands of working there. I'm not happy about weekends but there really is no way around that with retail.
Yesterday Chris and I went to the Peloton store and I tried out the Peloton bike for the first time. I liked it a lot and I think Chris liked it too. We plan on getting one soon. It will be a little tight, but we do have enough room to have my old bike and the Peloton bike next to each other. We will share the Peloton bike. Chris never liked riding my old spinning bike but I think he will ride the new one. This way we can do some indoor cycling workouts together.

Deb-That is crazy about the dog fight! I've heard that Dalmatians can be aggressive. So far I've only had to work one of the weekend days but next week they have me scheduled all weekend, Friday-Monday.

Carolyn-Great workouts! You definitely deserved a rest day!

Diane Sue-The Raw Metabolic workout sounds good. I really liked her Ascending Pyramids. So many people have the flu at work. Two people left work sick today and one girl has been off sick for a week. I almost felt like I was getting something last Friday, but I think it was just a sinus headache from allergies. I really hope I can avoid getting sick.

Valerie-Nice job on the mountain bike ride!

Lori-yes, I seem to be mostly getting 6-8 hour shifts. I did have a couple of 4 hour ones last week. Those are nice, they go by fast.

Judy

Deb we are due to have the septic pumped and will schedule today. It would only overflow while we are here s need to be using water to cause the overflow. just finished a load of wash and some water started showing up on the dirt surface. This was not a big disaster. not sure why it happened except we were on schedule to get it pumped this spring but had to fix an outdoor outlet first. We fixed the outlet about a week ago and were planning on this anyway. tomorrow is the day.
I have always thought dogs are like people.... some have bad dispositions. too bad the owner wasn't in control at the moment.

we did a park hike/walk this morning for an hour and a half. spring! lovely out.

Judy I need to take a look at a Peloton bike. never knew what one looked like. terrific if it gets DH riding regularly. nice if you can do it together. DH and I don't work out together ever. NO. too much togetherness for me, like my own workouts indoors. we had a good outdoor ride yesterday, I got up the big steep hill with my new bike without a problem. we have a newer route that' longer but sticks to roads until trails open up. a while yet.

Lori, you are 100% right, and I have done what I can to help him. I sent him some selected posts from the connect feature on WW because I think he would enjoy it a lot. not sure what he'll do, but I've done what I can. I don't want to be a pest.

Mayonnaise recipe ( I do this in a blender)
If you are afraid of raw egg you can put the egg in a pan of water and heat till just forming a few small bubbles. You do no not want to cook it. I have purchased pasturized eggs , but they are so expensive.
1 cup +2 Tbs light tasting olive oil or other oil (my preference is walnut or almond oil and sometimes I use avocado oil, and sometimes the 2 Tbs is MCT oil for me. I have also used Chosen avocado and coconut oil blend which worked well
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 large egg room temperature (30 min unless you just took it out of a pan)
In a blender , combine 1/4 cup of the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and egg. Cover the blender and blend on low for 30 second, then remove the insert from the lid and get ready to drizzle the rest of the oil in a stream, and increase the speed from low to medium. After some of the oil has been poured in-about half- you'll here the blender motor change pitch. Keep pouring slowly till all of the oil is integrated. Scoop into a container and mark the expiration date of the egg on it.

I did Lite Metabolic calories crush time saver, 23 minutes, met 8.60, heart rate average 127, max 158, 158 calories, 1,814 steps, I then did Kelly's Raw Metabolic 6 & 6 workout and really worked up a good sweat. This was 33 minutes, met 8.0, 212 calories, I followed this with Fit Split Metabolic time saver metabolic only and skipped the warm up, 27 minutes, 155 calories, met 8.0.
Total time was 83 minutes and calories burned 525. Step total was approximately 3,456. I forgot to start the Fit Bit and accidentally paused it on a workout so I had to use the met values an I did have Map My Fitness running. I think the metabolic rate may have been higher than I used on Raw metabolic as I was breathing harder and sweating more through it that I was on Cathe's even though I went a bit heavier than Cathe on most of hers.
RAW Metabolic 6 & 6
Kelly uses 12.5 pound dumbbells and I used 1# gloves with 12 pound dbs. I started the first round with 15 and after two moves I stopped to lower. I tried the 12.5# Bowflex weights and did not like using them for the renegade rows to push ups and close together db push ups. So this is the reason I kept stopping my devices and fit bit and it through me off. There is a short warm up and kelly shows each move without weight before you start. This takes 3 minutes.
The moves are done 30 seconds each for all 6 exercise combos and there is a 30 second rest between each round of 6
side to side lunge to overhead press side lunge
renegade row each arm then push up
skate swings ? I think that is what she called them like swinging two kettlebells up and down from the sides
alternating lunges
connected dumbbell push up
sit ups with both dumbbells or you can have the option of using 1. I used both.

Valerie, I wash my hands often. Zinc and C are good to take. I have been trying to work on not touching my face. Habits take time to break.

Deb, from my understanding dalmatians can be unpredictable. That is why so many ended up in pounds because people thought they wanted them because of Disney. My husband found one wandering up the highway once and it had a collar. He bought it home and we called the vets number on the collar, but no one claimed it. Anyway, we tried, but it growled and snapped at all of us and my daughter's friend came in and it snapped at her, so we had to get rid of it. Too bad it it had to turn aggressive. Yes, with all of the blood we had up our walls and on the carpet, a light bulb went off on the ear cropping etc.. Our house at the time had heavily textured walls. It was all done in a southwestern theme and rather rugged looking. She would band her tail and slap her ears on the wall. I crocheted a tail cover that I tied over her tail when I had to bandage it. It did work it's way off eventually, but helped keep it covered. Ears are a whole different story.

Carolyn, I used to know the stopping point and would skip the floor cardio on Maximum Intensity Cardio and just do the step. The entire workout did burn a good amount of calories though. I also had a stopping point written down to just do the challenge part at the end as an add on. I used to do it a lot and sometimes tack it on to Body Max original cardio and power step portion. That really burned a lot of calories. I am not quite into something that long and intense these days. Maybe it is just that age has made me wiser LOL. I had that one on VHS at first and then purchased the Rhythmic step dvd. I bought black beans for a soup recipe my granddaughter gave me, but then the stuff on histamine says not to eat beans, so, I am holding off for awhile till I see how well it works leaving out certain things.

Judy, nice job with the workouts along with working. I like that it is easy to shorten the ascending Pyramid Raw workout and just choose body parts. I have been writing down stopping points. I like both of Ascending Pyramid workouts. The metabolic was good today. I soon realized I did not need to pick up heavier weights. I kind of thought maybe I should have done some lower work for the add on instead of another metabolic workout. Although I don't think that Fit Split metabolic is terribly hard to do. I had contemplated the Ice Lower Body Blizzard Blast at first.
The Peloton Bike would be be so nice. I bet you would love it. Working out together would be fun. I hope the flu does not come back around here. Some schools had to close because of it when it was going around. We managed to avoid it with the Tamiflu and our flu shots which is lucky because some of the family that had flu shots got it. I babysat sick grandchildren.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday.

Judy, that's great that you will be getting that bike and you and Chris can do indoor bike workouts together. I agree...retail work always means weekends, unless you are a higher up in management, I guess. At a place like HD, and especially the garden center, weekends this time of year will be the busiest.

Valerie, once you get the septic pumped do you have plans to go to MT? Yes, dogs are like people in a way...they have much different dispositions.

Diane Sue, thanks for the recipe! I am not sure about the raw egg. I don't like the idea, and if John knew that was in it, he would never eat it, let alone see me eat it without a lot of grumbling. Does the little boiling you mentioned kill any salmonella or what is dangerous with raw eggs? It might be better if I just go to the Co-op and get some organic mayo from there, looking at the ingredients closely. I know John would eat that. He loves anything that comes from the Co-op. Right with the Dalmatians and Disney. Back in the 40's the Wire Fox Terrier was a popular breed due to The Think Man movies with Myrna Loy and William Powell. There are not a lot of them now and that is just fine with me. Interesting about beans and histamine.

Hi to Carolyn & Lori

Take care,

Deb-That's one of the reasons I waited as long as I did to go back to work. I didn't want to work nights and weekends and it's almost impossible to get a retail job that doesn't require one or both of those. After 4 years of not working, I was really getting bored and just needed to do something. It is good to have the extra income too. HD pays pretty well for retail, quite a bit more than the health food store did.
I rarely see Wire Fox Terriers anymore. I had a friend who had one, back in the 90's and she was so cute. I've always loved them. I knew someone who had Welsh Terriers and I liked them too.

Diane Sue-I need to try the Raw Lower Body Ascending Pyramid workout. I previewed it and it looked good. I'm going to look at the Metabolic 6 & 6 today too. That was a good idea to combine it with Lite Calorie Crush and the FitSplit Premix. There is a Raw core workout I want to try too. She does 1 minute of core work then 10 pushups, 6 times.

Valerie-I know what you mean about the too much togetherness, lol! I'm just hoping to get Chris back into doing some cardio as he tends to not do anything over the winter and now he is struggling to get back in shape. He goes to the gym by himself most of the time now as his weight workouts aren't anything like mine and we really can't workout together there. Also he would rather go at night and I prefer working out in the morning.

Hi to Carolyn & Lori!

Judy

We keep trying to plan a MT trip, with things ready to go but we keep getting obstacles thrown in the way. now there is a winter storm warning for a lot of the drive but still hoping for the end of this week. we will see how the forecast goes. doesn't need to be "perfect".
our neighbors across the street from us had a fox terrier. the woman hardly comes out of the house so not sure if they still have it. my cousin and his family had fox terriers until they got one with a bad disposition. was a psycho dog they finally had to have put down. they tried everything including meds. He nipped people, had to be sedated to get clipped, etc. an unpleasant animal. it seems like 3/4 of the dogs around here are at least part pit bull, the only breed that I have no love for.
DH and I do all outdoor things together so we get plenty of together time! He doesn't like working out to cathe cardio workout except for spin. he uses STS for weights. too distracting to me with him in the room. I don't want sound as loud, and if I'm doing weights..... there is room for one person, or we are tripping over each other. I want to focus on what I'm doing. much(!!) better one at a time.
Judy, I used to hate getting sore at beginning of the season. much better for me to do things all year so there isn't that awful "getting back in shape" business. the way things are now, I'd prefer to work weekends and have weekdays off since weekends are too busy. only works if your DH is on the same schedule.

wow, raw eggs. I would not go there. Deb I agree with your DH. egg substitute is pasteurized. I don't know if it would taste the same. you can buy pasteurized eggs in the shell, but I never looked for them. I am repelled by raw egg. IMO not worth the risk. I don't even like runny eggs! my mother used to feed us soft boiled eggs. Yuck. I didn't like hard boiled either. the smell. the texture. eggs scrambled or fried to well done is it. father used to make egg nog all the time but that was before eggs carried salmonella. of course we all saw Rocky downing raw eggs right from the blender.

Today I did Maximum intensity Strength which is a great total body workout. My time was 87 minutes with 412 calories burned. My average heart rate was 112 and maximum heart rate was 153.

Judy, you definitely deserve a Peloton bike if anyone does. I know that you will enjoy it.

Deb, are you still doing your PT exercises? I read an article from Chris Freytag yesterday that made me the of you. It was an article on the best stretches for hips and knees and how one area can cause pain on the other.

Hello to Diane Sue, Valerie, and Lori. Have a wonderful day everyone.

This morning I did Kelly Coffey Build and Burn Cardio Core, 28 minutes, heart rate average 134, max 169, 2,51 steps, met 7.0, 186 calories. I then did Coffey Fit Raw Step #3 with an 8 inch step and 1# gloves, 43 minutes, heart rate average 144, max 170, met 8.0, 319 calories, 4,072 steps. I finished off with Lite Stretch #1, 13 minutes, 33 calories. I also did some other stretching and rolling afterward. Total time was 85 minutes, 538 calories, 6,123 calories. I have grandchildren coming over in a little while :) I ran to Sprouts so I could pick up some of the seafood that was on sale in their meat counter. Plus there was a coupon code for 10 dollars off of 60 today only :)

Deb, heating the egg is supposed to kill the bacteria in it. There are recipes for egg free mayonnaise. I have never tried one of them. Sometimes I leave it in the water a bit too long and the white has started to cook a bit, but it still works for the mayonnaise. I have bought Primal Kitchen and another brand of avocado oil mayo with no other fats blended in that are okay. I don't like the flavor as much. Especially Primal kitchen. I do not know why they thought they had to season it a bit. I think it is rosemary that they added. I think it cost me something like 7 dollars for a dozen pasturized eggs which I though was ridiculous. I have wondered if a person could buy liquid pasturized in a carton or something. Although I think most is just egg white with color or no color. There were a lot of older movies and television shows with dogs. I remember one old black and white television show with a basset hound and I really wanted one.

Judy, I have thought about getting a job, but the idea of weekends and nights does not appeal. My husband is off on weekends and I just think it would not be pleasant. I manage to stay plenty busy and wish I had more time so I am not bored yet ;) I have done that shorter Raw core workout a few times. Time goes by pretty quickly as it alternates abs crunches and that sort of thing with push variations.

Valerie, hopefully you get to go on your MT trip soon. We have lots of neighbors with dogs. Most are kept inside and they walk them. Two of our elderly ladies used to come out with theirs when we first moved here. Then they quit. I always figured it was so they could come out and get a better look at us when we moved in and they would talk to us a bit. One has a Scottie and the other a terrier of some sort. Since there are a lot of condos here, and the park, walking paths, and bicycle lanes you see people out all of the time.
I don't mind the eggs in the mayonnaise and sauces. I wouldn't eat them raw. I like poached eggs where the yolk is a little runny, but no raw egg white.

Carolyn, I used to do Maximum Intensity Strength a lot. It is another that I had stopping points on, particularly when I had VHS. I split upper and lower body. But, it is a nice full body workout done as is. I like that lower is not straggled through the upper body.

Good morning,

PT this morning.

Judy, retail is tough, I give those people a lot of credit. My parents owned a men' clothing, and a men's shoe store in the late 60's, early 70's. I worked there part time. It was evenings and Saturdays. Only the full time people worked days. Great that you are considering a Peloton bike...you will put it to good use for sure.

Valerie, good that you are monitoring the weather for the MT trip. Not worth getting stuck in a snow storm. John is exactly like you regarding eggs. He sometimes makes scrambled eggs for us for breakfast, and I take mine out way before he does. He can't stand the sight of runny eggs. He even asked for his scrambled well done in a restaurant. Yes, Fox Terriers can be somewhat aggressive, if not trained properly from when they are a puppy. Our first was one we got out of a newspaper ad, at 11 months old. He had been at the SPCA twice, and in a couple different homes. He was a handful when we got him. We liked the breed so much, but decided we would go the "puppy route" from that time on.

Carolyn, MIS is a great workout, though pretty long if I remember. Thanks for the info on the article. I found it, and it makes sense. It is pretty much describing what is going on with my hip/knee.

Diane Sue, great workout combo! I have seen pasteurized eggs in a carton, but have never tried them. I would use them if I made the mayo. Just because I know John would not even try it, even with the short cooking process you described.
