diane sue I would guess that for motorcycle riding you would dress and prepare more like for snowmobiling. major wind chill factor and not generating a lot of physical heat yourself. I ve never really done either one so i cant suggest anything. windproof clothing that's well insulated? closest I have come is downhill skiing which I haven't done for decades. it was always hard because exposed skin loses heat fast. xc skiing is completely different from downhill. both are on skis with poles but that's where similarity ends. xc you generate heat and dont want to sweat much at all. downhill is a lot of intense activity followed by completely passive sitting on an exposed chair lift in the wind. hard to balance it out with clothing.
hope your eyes get better. the skin is so sensitive. I also have a load of skin sensitivities. even the hot tub bothers my skin in particular spots and its not very hot, 99 degrees, and we do very simple water treatments. metal..... sensitive to nickel. insect bites.

Today I did XDorner no jumping cardio workout sweat fest Low Impact which is another favorite with some fun music,204 calories, 42 minutes, heart rate 125/149, 3,787 steps. I then did Kelly's new short strength workout Total Body with Sammy, 20 minutes (actual is 17), 80 calories, heart rate 109/134, 159 steps. I finished off with CDorner morning stretch at the beach, 11 minutes, 26 calories. Total workout time was 73 minutes, 310 calories, 3,946 steps. I am making my husband stew today before he leaves for work so got done a bit earlier so I could get it started since it takes a while. I had groceries delivered as well. I am only missing the extra virgin olive oil, but they are shipping it to me. I only buy the California one that is from California, not the global one. I guess they had the global one in stock.

Valerie, that is true about the wind chill factor. I remember when I was a child and lived in Colorado I bundled up and with snow shoveling and walking to and from school I would often get too warm.

Carolyn my legs were really feeling it after the XTrain mix I did a couple of days ago. I always have to be careful of not lifting my leg so high behind in those pizza press moves that I irritate my low back. I like the Boss Bands and Loops workouts a lot. I have used aquaphor in the past because it helps moisturize my hands without causing my skin to break out when I touch my face. It also is good on lips. My skin is extra sensitive over the years. Even some shades of eye shadows, particularly purple and violet and some pink shades cause irritation. I once bought a lot of those pots of mineral shadows and the company I purchased from said you could mix some of them with balm and use on the lips, but not a particular violet shade they had, and also not a pink that had sort of lavender metallic stuff in it. Right now I generally use Jane Iredale and 100% Pure for shadows.

Yesterday I did a low intensity 45 minute Peloton ride and today I did the beginner workout that came with the Fit Tower and a short Peloton Ab workout.

Carolyn-Great job with the STS Total Body premix, Cardio Quick Fix workout 1 and Boss Loops Glutes and Core. My skin has also gotten much more sensitive as I've gotten older. I use the Cerave healing ointment all the time. It has helped a lot.

Diane Sue-Great job with Step Moves, XTrain Legs, Coffey Fit Raw Kickboxing Outside, Raw Abs, the CDorner workouts and Raw Total Body. I'll have to try the Raw Total Body one soon. it looks good. That is scary about your eyelids. I have a hard time finding things that don't bother my skin.

Cathy-Great job with your Mixed Up Step and Live To the Mat: Legs, Glutes and Core. Cats are very clever and love to explore, especially in the middle of the night. I agree about the STS core workout clips. I think I'm really going to love this series, but I'm sure I won't be matching Cathe's weights for many of the moves.

Valerie-Great job with XC Skiing, doing the elliptical, therapy and x train abs. Cats are a trip, I agree. Shadow is the only one we've had that opened cabinets. We have to "Shadow proof" everything in the condo to keep her out of trouble. She's so much fun though and it's hard to believe she's almost 10.

This morning I did ICE Chiseled Upper Body and Icy Core #1. That was 54 minutes and 239 calories burned. My average heart rate was 115 and maximum heart rate was 163. I went to Sprouts and The Fresh Market today because tomorrow I won’t be able to do so. I hadn’t been in a few weeks and needed some things that I can only get there.

Diane Sue, great job with CDorner Low Impact Cardio, Raw Total Body, CDORNER stretch. Jane Iredale is a nice brand. I use a lot of olive oil and my regular one is Kirkland Signature from Costco. I also like the California Olive Ranch brand and I have some speciality oils that my daughters bought. The oils have very different flavors, some more intense and peppery than others, depending on the variety of olives used.

Judy, nice job with the Peloton ride, Fit Tower workout, and Peloton Abs.

Hello to Valerie and Cathy.

Today I did Cathe Rock out Knockout. I tried doing the timesaver that skipped the most impact and did the gloved portion first and then the kickboxing. Heart rate was not getting up much, so I went back and did the cardio portion, so I ended up doing all of it. I did modify the jacks and jumps though, but it got the heart rate up. I also wasted a little time switching from my combat gloves to my hand wrap gloves. Total time was 60 minutes, 226 calories, heart rate 111/157, 4,257 steps. I then did Cathe Perfect Flow timesaver Mobility Basics stretch, 20 minutes, 37 calories, heart rate 81/9`, 40 steps. Total time was 80 minutes. 263 calories, 4,297 steps.

Carolyn, nice work with Ice Chiseled Upper Body and Core #1 today. I need to make myself go to the City next to us to Sprouts for some of those special things. I have gotten so used to getting everything delivered. If I do not order from Whole Foods I have to use dairy yogurt because what Walmart has that is not dairy does not taste good at all as plain yogurt. I guess I could make coconut milk yogurt. I have done it before with the Instant Pot. Cashewgurt stuck a sticker on the carton last time I purchased saying they were not able to get their usual tapioca starch and had to use something else in the ingredients. I guess it was nice that they were up front for those on special diets. I went to Walmart once recently and it felt sort of surreal walking around in the store. I ordered the large bottle of California Olive oil so I would not have to purchase too quickly. There is a tea room that I have been to a few times that carries lots of interesting oil blends. They change up some of them each month to something new. The same with tea varieties and honeys etc.. My older granddaughter had her bridal shower there. My Michael Simons Fix It with Food cookbook had a recipe I have used a few times that called for an oregano infused olive oil. Since I did not have any I put a few drops of Garden of Life oregano oil in the olive oil.

Judy, nice work with the Peloton Ride and the Fit Tower workout yesterday. Thanks ahead for starting the forum thread Sunday.

Shopped yesterday and today I did P30 Mobility.

Carolyn nice job with Cardio Quick Fix, Boss Loops Glutes and Core and ICE Chiseled Upper Body and Icy Core #1.

Valerie great job with the skiing. I can understand you're being uneasy about areas you've had issues with. I'm gelt the same way after some injuries I have. I tend to wear leggings all the time in cold weather, but the ones I wear during the day are all solid colors. All my patterned ones are for workouts.

Diane Sue nice job with Fit Raw Kickboxing Outside, abs and stretch and no jumping cardio workout sweat fest Low Impact, total body and stretch and Rock out Knockout and mobility premix.

Judy great job with the Peloton ride, abs and Fit Tower workout.

Today I did Live #308 Metabolic Med Ball Blast. I still have a couple more days of my active rest week but I felt like doing something a little more and this was perfect. It's only 37 minutes long and while it's not low impact, the moves are not difficult and no move is done for very long.

Carolyn-Great job with ICE Chiseled Upper Body and Icy Core #1. I used to use a lot of Macadamia Nut oil. It was popular 10-15 years ago but harder to find recently. I use more Olive oil now.

Diane Sue-Great job with Rock out Knockout and the Perfect Flow Timesaver.

Cathy-Great job with P30 Mobility.

Valerie-I hope you have a good weekend visit with your family.

Did Warrior Kickboxing this morning. Sort of LOL I remembered after I started that I much prefer WK2. This one has a ton of jacks, plus a segment with weights. So I did the first 30 minutes and then did some stuff on my own. I do wish that they'd done the tutorial for putting the bars together before I put my together. :p They did show how to partially break it down to put it under a bed or couch without totally undoing it, which will help a lot of people.

Judy nice job with Metabolic Med Ball Blast. I really like that one.

Today is my rest day. Our weather is rainy and turning cold again with a possibility of some snow. The news stations and meteorologists are talking about what is now referred to “snowmagedon 2014“. We had a small amount of snow and a lot of ice that brought the city to a standstill. It took people 13-14 hours to make a 30-40 minute commute. It was like Dallas a couple of weeks ago but with much less snow. It was terrible! Fortunately for me I decided to stay home from work when I heard that the snow would start around 9:00 a.m. just after we arrived at work. The discussion in the news now is how far Atlanta has come since then in being prepared for winter precipitation. Our then Governor created a task force to figure out what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again.

Diane Sue, nice job with Rockout Knockout and Mobility Basics stretch. There is an Olive Oil store like that here near where I go to the Farmer’s Market. I haven’t been there in several years but it’s very nice.

Cathy, nice job with P30 Mobility and Warrior Kickboxing. The tutorial for putting the bars together sounds like it was needed. I noticed that several people had questions and complaints about it.

Judy, great job with Live Metabolic Med Ball Blast.

Valerie, I hope that you are having a good trip.

Today I did CDorner to the beat /all standing fat burning cardio, 42 minutes, 224 calories, heart rate 132/168, 4,570 steps. I then did Raw Glute Finisher with the fabric band, 24 minutes, 65 calories, heart rate 95/122, 990 steps. I finished with Raw stretch finisher and part of raw Athletic Stretch #2(should have just did all of stretch 2) 24 minutes, 36 calories, heart rate 76/94. Total time was 90 minutes, 325 calories, 5,560 steps.

I worked early today, 6 am to noon in paint. I don't normally work that shift but a co-worker had an emergency so I went in for her. I did a Yin Yoga session when I got home and got caught up on laundry and things around the house.

Cathy-Great job with Warrior Kickboxing. That was a good tutorial on the STS bars.

Carolyn-I hope you had a good rest day. I remember that snow storm in Atlanta in 2014. It was good that you stayed home that day.

Diane Sue-Great job with CDorner to the beat /all standing fat burning cardio, Raw Glute Finisher and the Raw stretches.

Hi to Valerie

Cathy, nice work getting in P30 mobility and your shopping done yesterday. Sorry you picked the wrong warrior kickboxing workout. I have done that with workouts. The workout today is one I forgot was low impact, but when you get into it is low impact segments for 5 minutes and the high impact segments with her doing a quick show of a low impact move if it is not a high impact for you. Lots of jacks in there. Low jacks with turns and boxing moves is uncomfortable to me.
I have a hard time understanding the need for those bars if you have a fit tower. I do not plan on doing pull ups on anything myself. I guess I need to go back and look at the video clips as I know they are using different methods on moves.

Judy, I remember the Med Ball blast workout. I never got through all of it though as I really needed a lighter smaller med ball than I have, and it came out around the first time I went to PT for the neck and shoulders.
It is nice that it is a shorter workout. Yin yoga would be a nice thing after coming home from work.

Carolyn, I hope you do not get that bad of weather again. They are pretty good at getting the roads salted and sanded and warning people to try to stay in ahead of time. Sometimes it ends up not as bad. The worst is always getting out of the neighborhood. I could not imagine being stranded on the road for hours that I have heard happen in some cities.
