Morning!
The jazz couple that we saw at the coffee house last night was really good. However, there were 3 "kids"...(I call them that, they were in their 20's I would guess), babbling loudly, all about Star Wars, and fantasy characters, shuffling cards etc. All the annoying looks didn't stop them. Another gentleman from across the room actually went over and asked them to hold it down...nothing changed. I felt so bad for the performers. After the set was over, we got up to leave and I bent over them and said. "I'm sure you don't realize this but you are being incredibly rude" and walked away. No manners anymore.
I am also very thankful for this group, a place to talk about fitness, and support in many areas of our lives.
Lori, that is so great that your friend got to have company for the holiday. Where does he live? I know you said you picked him up in Boston...Our dining room does not hold that many people! I wish it did. I set up those folding banquet tables, a card table and we use a settee with TV trays in the living room. The dining room is where all the food and drinks are. It is done buffet style. I am glad I can seat 20 in the living room that way. We are not all at the same table, but it's almost like that. I don't care if John cleans, I just wish he would put stuff away and not just leave it all over the place. .
Valerie, a new bike! That's great.
. I wish our bike carrier was easier to use. I think this coming spring, I am going to figure out how to get my bike into the back of the Subaru so I can drive it to the park and ride.
Lynda, sounds like you had a great couple of days with your family. Congratulations to your son and his friend on the 2 new puppies! So cute, you will have to post pics of them here once he sends some to you. ( and I am sure he will! LOL). Have they decided on names yet? If you have a scanner, san the picture of Max and post it here.
Judy, Happy early Birthday!
Josie, have you recovered yet from the holiday with The Peanuts? LOL...
A workout, not sure what yet...I really wish those new DVD's would get here...I need some inspiration to get back into it...
Take care,
