Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 11/20

Oh, and my granddaughter has paid a huge price for new vinyl. She has some of ours at her house.

Daine sue I've read about that with refrigerators in the garage, that the cold "ambient" temps confuse the thermostats and they freeze things. I don't remember the exact explanation. I have not had a problem with mine and always have had a garage frig, usually the old one being recycled. garage freezer is a "non frost" free one, so I defrost it 2x a year but also no problems with it keeping the right temps. but we are in a much milder climate here, and the garage probably seldom gets below 40 and probably 40-50 most of the time.

did all the shopping today, a marathon. DONE. I don't want to go anywhere near a store until next Monday.......... if possible. I did a short workout late today, total body metabolic warm up, then the chest muscle meltdown, and then icy core 1. probably 30 minutes total but I did cathe's weight and increased the reps 25% so it was fast and furious. I like giant sets... the focus and quick sequencing works for me. would not work for heavy weights, but I used 12 lbs like cathe did.

we don't have any 45's. don't remember them except for maybe 6th grade with the fat spindle to play them on a turntable. I bought a turntable today and am looking forward to seeing how these sound. since I don't like current music, I hope these sound good and not scratchy. I had decent choices and remember much of the music.

there are a million thoughts on how to clean records. I found a recipe for 75% distilled water, 25% isopropyl alcohol, a couple drops of DW rinse agent. it worked well. used a microfiber cloth, wipe counterclockwise. let dry, back in the sleeves. there were professional washing machines, some people said toothpaste(???)... hard to sort out what might work, but this seems to have worked well.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Ice Total Body Compound. I like these metabolic workouts a lot...they count as cardio as well as weight work.

Caitlin, I don't know what double bench step is but it sounds tricky...:)

Carolyn, now I understand why you would want to grind the flour...I bet it is delicious bread.

Valerie, if you don't like the gravy packet that comes with a turkey breast, what do you do for gravy?
We have so may LP records in the attic, some are doubles because John and I combined ours when we got together. We probably have doubles of all the Rolling Stones, Beatles etc. Not sure what they are like anymore, being in the attic for 30+ years. Vinyl is definitely making a resurgence. Maybe I should look into selling on Ebay. We have a turntable with some program that allows you to record vinyl on a CD...good to have a method for cleaning them though.

Diane Sue, good idea to stay away from stores like Walmart this week, especially Friday...ugh...I would not shop on Friday for anything. I hate the thought of going to the grocery store today. It's so nice that your family is so close. My immediate family and close cousins are all within 10 miles of my house, my brother is about a mile away.

Hi to Judy & Lori

More prep for tomorrow...I brought all the chairs up from the basement yesterday, today is setting up the dining room etc etc....also the hopefully last trip to the grocery store.

Take care,

Good morning ladies!

My only workout yesterday was our morning walk. My husband and I wanted to go to the beach and walk on the pier so we left early morning. Was a beautiful day yesterday to do that. After we had lunch then did last minute shopping for Tday. My inlaws have a smart TV but do not have netflix so I signed them in using our password. We pay for 4 screens (tv). I called netflix asking if this was a problem to do and they said anyone can use one of your fours screens. Makes no difference. So my inlaws are thrilled and we are happy to do this for them.

We are going to the Gulf Breeze Zoo today. Should be fun.

Valerie....amazing you and Deb have all those records. I never thought to save mind. Not that I had many. That sounded like a quick but effective workout. When I am really short on time I try to get a really good intense one in. Lol with drinking kerosene! That made me laugh!

Deb...Rolling Stones and Beetles? They have to be worth something. So many collectors out there. We ended up not having to take Nilla. Last minute my son was able to stay at our place instead of him taking GiGi to his place. He has texted us several times that GiGi is a psycho puppy! Surprisingly, I like the Country Heat workouts. I may do another one plus barre today.

Diane Sue...that must have been scary with the 85# being stuck. I can see why you do not lift that heavy any more. We have a freezer on our screened in patio that is out all year long. We have had it there for about 4 years now with no issues.

Carolyn...I use dumbbells for everything. I gave my barbell and squat rack to my son. I was continually having a shoulder issue and my barbell just was not helping. I also have a 20# weighted bar that I like. When I get home I'll post some pictures of Navarre Beach. I agree the beaches here are so beautiful. There is a sign that says Navarre Beach, Florida's best kept secret!

Caitlyn... I have seen double step workouts but never have done one. I would end up flat on my face for sure. I know my limits!

Have a great day all!!!!

Double step workouts? I don't even want to know!! Yes Lori, a woman has to know her limits!!
Deb I froze a chicken carcass from a barbecued bird so I will cook it with some onion carrot celery to get some decent broth and add in whatever I get from the turkey roast. Then add in the flour to thicken. Anything will be better than the gravy packet....

We have a few duplicate records but not as many as I first thought. I had a lot of Motown and soul and folk while DH had heavy metal . different styles. So many of the artists are gone now. Except for Willie Nelson.... looked the same then as he does now

I remember getting almost stuck with a heavy barbell so only used it when DH could spot.... that doesn't happen much. Might have been 70 lbs? don't think I ever got heavier than that . 85 is scary heavy. Easier to just grab dumbbells and be done with it . I am less inclined to push heavy weights lately and think I get better results with medium weights and more reps with less risk of injury. I also like that I can use different weight dumbbells if I have concerns about my rt shoulder although I think the right side has come back to almost as strong as the left. it's very close now.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Cardio Pump Premix cardio lower body 38 minutes, 245 calories. I then did 21 Day Fix Extreme Lower body, 38 minutes, 297 calories. I think that one took a bit longer because I paused to write down each round since I could not quickly find a work sheet or notes. I finished with Barre Amped lower body stretch, 19 minutes, 20 calories. Total time was 95 minutes, 517 calories. I had to make another trip to Sprouts for vanilla!! I would like to have skipped it but I need it.

Deb, the metabolic workouts and the circuits are nice for getting everything in quickly. We had doubles of a lot of our records. Beatles and Creedance Clearwater. We gave the records to our daughter years ago when she purchased a turntable. She gave them back, but kept the Beatles. Funny thing is that she left Paul McCartney. I don't think she knew he was a Beatle.

Lorie, nice work on the walk. That is nice that you were able to share Netflix. My daughter uses my daughter in laws Netflix. We only have one Netflix TV account. When they came out with it costing more for more than one television or device at a time we just went to one. It does cause issues if my husband is watching a movie downstairs and I am trying to play something for the grandchildren upstairs. I end up renting a movie or playing one I already have on Vudu or using Amazon. For some reason I have trouble getting my Amazon Prime to work upstairs. It works on the Roku downstairs and I have the tv linked to the account but it does not always let me play anything. I guess it doesn't get too cold on the patio then? It gets cold in the garage and that is when it tends to freeze things. I bet the pictures of the beach will be beautiful.

Valerie, I usually use some broth from the turkey. I guess that is a bit of a problem with a turkey roast. I don't eat the gravy myself but there are those that expect it. I have started leaning more toward lighter weights since the knee injury and shoulder neck issues. I still have muscle definition and I am not so inclined to go all out like I used to.

Happy Thanksgiving To All!

The countdown to dinner starts now...:).

Lori, what a great relaxing workout, a nice walk. That was great that you signed in your in-laws to Netflix. Does this mean they will keep it after you leave? That's great that your son could stay at your house so the dogs would not be "upended". I really want another refrigerator in the basement. Maybe if we buy a new one, the old one could be put downstairs. That would be an interesting haul...LOL...

Valerie, Good way to make gravy. I agree with all on the BB and heavy weight. The weight bench I have can alter the rack you use for chest presses etc to be a squat rack, but still too scary to try to take off if the BB is too heavy. I like using a BB but with really light weight...no more than 40.

Diane Sue, LOL that your daughter didn't know that Paul McCartney was a Beatle.

Take care,

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Going to do a quick walk with my MIL then JS 20 min arms and 20 min legs. That may be all I have time for. If I can get in some barre I will.

Deb...yes they will be able to continue to use our Netflix after we leave. They are thrilled. Wish you great success with all your guests today!!!!!!!

Diane Sue...lol! About Paul McCartney!

Valerie...that gravey you are making does sound great.

Have a great day all!!! We leave tomorrow. :(. Went by so quick. 75 here yesterday and will be the same today. I believe it will be snowing at home today. Ugh.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I will do cardio today and maybe do some abs. I got up at 6 to put the turkey in the oven. Then realized that it does not take as long with the oven roasting bag. I made a grain free crust apple pie last night that used coconut palm sugar for the sweetener. . I think it will be really good. It has the crumb topping. I had to go over the recipe multiple times though because it was a rather complicated process of refrigerating the crust before putting it in the pan, refrigerating after it is in the pan and putting beans on parchment to hold it down for part of the baking, taking it out and removing that and putting it back in and taking it out again to add the filling that you cook stove top first, then bake the crumb topping , put that on top and put it back in again.

Valerie, I was moving things in the garage refrigerator last night to make room and I had a whole half gallon of So Delicious coconut frozen solid. I guess because it was at the back. The other drinks were not frozen. Hopefully it doesn't freeze the deviled eggs and crust less pumpkin pie that I put out there.

Lorie, nice workout for the day. I bet time has flown by. That happens when you are enjoying yourself. I think we have some cold weather moving in tonight. It has been nice the last two days.

Good Morning and happy Thanksgiving! Deb, you said it perfectly--dinner prep has started. I feel good about where I am in the process and I am not feeling stressed. Yesterday I made pies--pumpkin with a ginger streusel and pecan. No workouts today or yesterday.

Valerie, I am the same with using medium weights and Dumbbells these days. I made stock last week and froze it. That is what I will use for gravy and the dressing (stuffing).

Have a great holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I've been taking an active rest week. I've only been doing some light upper body and ab work and stretching. My knee and low back are starting to feel better so I think taking a break was a good idea.
I got a new JS workout yesterday, Walk On-Metabolism Booster. It has a bonus "Stronger Knees" workout that I think I will do today.

We are staying home for the holiday and enjoying some time with Chino & Shadow. The original plan was to board them at the vet and drive out to Indiana for a couple of days but between the weather forecast and Chris feeling like he needed some down time at home, we cancelled our plans.

I hope everyone has a nice holiday!

I did Low impact sweat yesterday without a step. I tried it before with the smaller high step... way too likely to trip me up. I did the best I could on the ground and it was easier, also safer. most of the step moves aren't that complicated but it's too easy to step off or trip and fall with the small top area. maybe Santa will get me a full size topper for the steps I already have and then I can do this more effectively. at any rate, it's a good way to practice the step moves that always challenge me. this one will be a good workout with a step and was decent without one.

diane sue, I meant to look up about the refrigerator.... but I forgot. It has something to do with outside temps being too cold and screwing up the thermostat. I know I read about it when we put our old frig in the garage along with a stand alone freezer.. we've never had a problem with it freezing things, but our temps are mild in winter.

Judy sometimes it's not worth the hassle of a bad drive. we are hosting today so no drive for us either. Enjoy a quiet day with chris and the kitties.

I will use turkey bits and juice if there is any. I didn't have much last year probably because I used a big pan and it all evaporated. will use a smaller roaster this year.

could not believe the ads that came with the paper this morning. I want no part of it! the turntable I bought didn't work... would not even turn on. so will return it to BB next Monday. I would have gone back yesterday and exchanged it, but they have some sort of automated telephone app that avoids real people ....when you try to find out if they have more of an item in stock. all I could get was "less than 3 in stock". Not worth the drive IMO. I also found it at half the price on amazon. no wonder retailers are losing business to on line business.

too funny... didn't know McCartney was a Beatle! slight generation gap for sure. I have 2 Beatles albums, they were not a favorite for me. I don't have any CCR. I thought I did. maybe it got left behind somewhere. Most of the music I have is not rare & unusual and not worth a lot of money .
Deb a hand truck with a strap is how to move a frig but need to be sure it will fit down the stairwell. older homes have narrow stairways and low ceilings.

How did I forget ... Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Once I got the turkey going I did Ripped with Hiit Plyo Hiit 2 plus abs 1; Low Impact Sweat Blizzard blast and abs 2. 60 minutes, 384. I don't know about the Fit bit reading on Plyo Hiit. It had my average heart rate at 114. Then when I did Blizzard Blast the heat rate average was higher and I did not feel I was working near as hard. The Map My Fitness, Cathe, and my Calories burned app were all close plus my last log of Plyo Hiit on My Fitness Pal so I took made it 250 calories which was the lower end of those three. I don't know if I can log all of my foods for today on my fitness pal because I would be doing a lot of guessing. We had a great time today. I set up the karaoke upstairs and my grandchildren had fun singing. I got out the Christmas Kareoke set I purchased a couple of years ago. We played card games.

Deb, I bet your family day has been lots of fun :)

Carolyn, things went well here too. I love pecan pie. My son in law makes a great pecan pie. I always have to eat some.

Judy, those are such sweet pictures of Shadow and Chino. I bet it was nice to have the time just to relax at home. That is good that your knee and back are feeling better. I guess that lets you know that it was probably the bike.

Valerie, I think that Ice Sweat Step workout is pretty easy to follow. A full sized step topper would help though. It would be nice if you can save by returning the turntable that is not working and get one at lower cost. We have loads of albums and singles. My husband and I had somewhat different tastes. We still do. CCR and some of the Beatles was the only common ones we had. I liked some of the Beatles songs. I had a lot of Bread, Neil Diamond, Guess Who. My husband had records by Andy Williams all the way to Grand Funk Railroad. I enjoyed listening to them again but, I think my tastes for music have changed quite a bit. I discovered I needed salad dressing. I decided I would make some or some of the family could bring it because I was not going out to another store for awhile. Even my email box is filled with Black Friday deals.
One of the girls was explaining that it was called black Friday because businesses at that time are in the black instead of the red. So I guess that is something new to me. Now I know.

Good morning,

Dinner turned out very well, at least it seemed so with all that was eaten. :).

Lori, safe travels home. Don't be too shocked with the cold. I bet your "babies" will be thrilled to see you.

Diane Sue, I hope your dinner went well. How many did you have? That pie does sound complicated. How did it turn out?

Carolyn, mmm....pumpkin with streusel sounds delicious! Dressing or stuffing? LOL....we always mix the 2 descriptions. I always heard that "dressing" was never in the bird, made on the side, and stuffing is what comes out of the bird....not sure if that is correct or not! :)

Judy, love the pics! That sounds like an interesting workout. Let us know what she does regarding "stronger knees".

Valerie, that is a smart way to do the workout, and you probably get a good workout even without the step. You are right...our refrigerator is a "side-by-side" and may not fit down the basement stairway, even though it is a counter-depth one.

Diane Sue, nice workouts! How did those desserts turn out that you did for your SIL? I don;t know if I could take all the kids singing karaoke! We had one that has a small guitar that walked around and "played" it and sang. Of course he wasn't playing anything that could be recognized. I never knew why they called it "Black Friday:...interesting.

Maybe a workout, then I want to go to Barnes & Noble to look at the new Nook they have that is only $50. I have one of the original "Classic" Nooks, that I am sure will not last too much longer. I need a back up, just in case.

Have a good day!

I really liked the JS "Stronger Knees" segment. It was like a physical therapy session for strengthening the muscles that support the knees. It was mostly standing moves using a band for resistance. I plan on doing this one once or twice a week for awhile.

Yesterday I did total body metabolic again along with icy core. I do best if I repeat the same workout. I get much more efficient and I get more muscle involvement.
DH and I disagree on something. he insists ( although he's never done one) that "metabolic workouts" are not true "cardio" because of short rests between exercises. I get consistently out of breath when I do these. Moving the weights around are part of it, and I like combining weight and cardio in one, like you mentioned Deb. I'm sure my heart rate drops somewhat between exercises with changing weights etc, but to me it's similar to a spin workout where you sit down and recover between songs. and then he considers spin workouts cardio! my only issue with spin is that there is no impact (except maybe your sit bones) so it doesn't stress bones much for osteoporosis prevention. He keeps telling me I'm not getting cardio when I do these. I'm enjoying them as a break from elliptical and treadmill.

dinner went well yesterday. I have to say, after all the cooking I don't enjoy eating that much and like the left overs the next day better than the actual dinner.

Deb, I've lived in a couple older homes. the first home I bought had a narrow low stairway. there was a closet built above the stairs that made the ceiling very low. many have a turn midway down. not saying it won't work, but once you start down it's hard to change your mind! this is one of those "Measure twice, cut once" rules.

I ordered a turntable thru amazon. I will return the non working one to BB. I could have BB them match the price, but there's no way to tell if they have another one in stock with their telephone system.

Judy, I am going to take a look at the knee workout. I'm slacked off on doing my knee therapy exercises and would like to replace them with something else. thanks for mentioning it.

I agree, that's where Black Friday got it's name. also agree on stuffing vs dressing. that's also what I thought was the difference.

It will still be a bit before I can listen to the old records. I loved eric Clapton and all the bands he was in. I also loved lead zeppelin but somehow didn't own any of their records. I had a lot of folk music that I got tired of.... peter paul and mary, simon and garfunkle etc. Crosby stills held up better than most & I have several of them. Loved Fleetwood mac and still do..

If you google the refrigerator problem, there are some long rambling explanations for why some people have problems.

Hello to all the lovely fit ladies. I just got the ICE Chiseled lower Body Blast, and I enjoyed it very much. I am so glad I bought it here, and could see that it is intermediate, but it did almost like advanced. I did not look at it before so it was like a real surprise. I hope everyone is doing great. Frank is a great cook, so all I did was help.him. I really have to look at what I am eating so I won't go into Christmas with a ton of extra weight
Frank is taking so nap now..and he really needs it. I hope everyone had a nice day yesterday. I am getting a laptop from Amazon by Dec 5th. and I can hardly have to wait for it

I'm back to my workout schedule today. I did After Burn from the Low Impact Series which I have not done in a very long time. I had forgotten the number of burpees and mountain climbers using the gliding discs that are in this workout. It was hard but I finished it and burned 454 calories according to the Fitbit.

Thanksgiving was great and I didn't overeat! My plan was to focus on turkey and vegetables with small amounts of some of the other dishes. I did eat pumpkin pie, which is my favorite.

Valerie, I agree that the day after Thanksgiving is when I can really enjoy the food. I like watching others enjoy the holiday meal.

Judy, I haven't seen the JS Stronger Knees, but I have one that called Strong Knees that was done by a Chantal Donnely, a physical therapist. It is designed to prevent and reduce knee pain. It was great.

Deb, we never put the dressing in the turkey and always call it dressing. My son-in-law is from Rhode Island and he calls it stuffing even in the casserole dish. The pumpkin pie has streusel with crystallized ginger. Definitely a once a year item.

No Black Friday shopping for me! I hate shopping on a regular day without the huge crowds. The bargains are not worth it.

Josie, I saw your Thanksgiving greeting on last week's thread. Thanks. I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday.

Hello to Lori, Caitlin, and Diane Sue.

Today I wanted a good metabolic workout to burn off some of those carbs so I did X Train Super Cuts, 52 minutes (I added a little extra warm up) 299 calories. I followed this with Flex Train premix 3 (no firewalker, disc chest and lunge) Before the stretch I went back to the chapters and did the lunges with the discs and the firewalker segments. At the end I did not do the push ups with the crunch move. I subbed mountain climbers for the push ups. This was 93 minutes, 538 calories. I went back a bit later (waiting for hot water for a shower) and did Suzanne Bowen's Christmas stretch workout that she sent a password to use. This was 32 minutes. I did not count it in my calories. Our family always calls it stuffing. We never put it in the turkey. We have two adult members that like Stove Top so there is usually a small pan of that and one of scratch made. If I make it it gets celery and onions and broth in it. When everyone else makes it it seems it is just bread crumbs.
I need to try and find an original xbox game system. It seems that is what my grandson wants for Christmas. I have looked at some used ones on Amazon. I worry about getting something that is worn out.

Deb, we always make enough food to feed an army of people. I end up with a lot of left overs. I encouraged family to take their leftover pie home. All but an extra piece of pecan for me :p There was 16 of us. Plus my granddaughter's boyfriend came for dessert so that would be 17. The desserts turned out well for my son in law's birthday. I am going to have to work up the calories and macros for the grain free apple pie and the Wild diet gelatin fruit salad (Nan's Dessert) since I have some left. The pie was really good. Not many ate it. I had some take a nibble but most stuck with pumpkin and chocolate which is normal here. I like the pie best heated up though. I froze some of it because it is rich with the nut flour and grassfed butter. I cannot eat all of that that fast. I think it will be okay frozen. The gelatin fruit salad didn't go over so well. I think it was not sweet enough for all of the mashmallow fruit salad family members.
We used to have the Karoke in our "man cave" in our last home. The kids were so loud with it that much of the family of adults headed to the living room. I recently moved it to my workout room. That is upstairs and away from the living room. I did ask them to keep the sound down so they wouldn't drive the parents away. Some of the time they did as I asked but for some reason they would come downstairs with the wireless mikes. It got better when my grandson 16 went upstairs and started singing some of the Christmas music and his they 5 and 8 year old pitched in. Even some of us women at the table playing card started singing along. My grandson came downstairs with the mike and started singing Song Sung Blue which he sang in choir and so I was singing with him. Anyway, it was a fun time. Yes, some of those toys can make you feel a bit crazy talking over the constant noise. Little ones love it.

Judy, that sounds like it would be a good workout. I have Tai Cheng and he uses a loop band while going through the Tai Chi. Those were really helpful when I was rehabilitating my knee. I thought that it was a little silly that each workout was identical and each phase added a bit to the original. It seemed like they did not need to do day one, two three, etc. of the exact same workout. I guess to make it seem worth the money for the set. Once or twice a week sounds like a great idea.

Valerie, I watched my heart rate throughout my metabolic workouts today and it stayed up somewhat even for the short breaks or the less intense segments. I Think part of the point is it keeps the heart rate right in the fat burning zone and when you are done you have used resistance work that gives you returns in increased metabolic rate throughout the day for extra calorie burn. You are right on needing something to keep the bones healthy. Well rounded workout plans with all parts of fitness, strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular work together to one healthy. I think the extra tension on the spin bike might build a bit of endurance type muscle. It sure makes my legs burn :)
I am the same way after cooking a meal. When I smell something cooking for hours I lose my desire to eat it. I don't like waking up in the morning and still smelling it. It tastes better later. I have to go divide up the turkey and ham that is left into smaller freezer containers I just did not feel like smelling it and messing with it last night. I did throw some turkey in a salad for my lunch today though. Mentioning the refrigerator and the stairs makes me wonder how my Dad got his freezer and refrigerator into his basement. He had very steep narrow steps down into the basement. I had been surprised that he had not fell down them stairs instead of the others. He went down there to shower a lot of the time and a lot of his clothes hung in the room where the refrigerator and freezer were. That freezer was in our family when I was 10 and it still worked. There was a low hang over those stairs as well. The had a laundry shoot from above for getting laundry down there. I am guessing my brothers someone else moved the stuff. I have always liked Fleetwood Mac. I replaced the records with cassette tapes and then cd's on those. I should google the refrigerator problem. We have had the problem off and on for several years but it keeps working so we still use it.

Caitlin, Ice surprised me at it's intensity when I finally broke down and purchased it. I am really glad that I did. I bet that you really are looking forward to the new laptop.

Carolyn, nice calorie burn. I used to do the extended version of that one. I tend to forget all of those burpees and plank moves. I did it a few times awhile back when I did a rotation that Cathe had that I think used the Low Impact Series and Ripped with Hiit. I think it was a bit much for me because I started getting some achy joints combining these workouts. I have one called Strong Knees. I had several I used after knee surgery. I think I felt that one was a bit more basic. My favorite was a Yoga Tune Up that used different items and had several workouts on it as you improved and then afterward. I believe it was called Knee Hab or maybe that was one of the segments. I should pull it out and do the after rehab portion. It has moves with a towel like using the gliding discs.

Josie, I too saw your Thanksgiving wishes. Thank You. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving as well.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday, decided to take another rest day. I will get back into it tomorrow. We went to the outlet mall, it was horrible...I wanted some pants at Eddie Bauer. They didn't have them and the crowds were so bad, we left. We also went to Barnes & Noble and I picked up the new Nook. I love my old Nook...it's one of the originals , and is still going strong, but you never know.

Judy, you have gotten a bunch of JS DVD's recently...how do you pick them? Do you use her site or just preview on YouTube?

Valerie, I look at the metabolic and PHAT workouts as cardio, similar to HIIT...your heart rate climbs and then you let it down for a bit...then it climbs again. I burn way more calories with these than a straight weight workout. It's similar to a circuit workout, but the weight work is heavier and slower. I am the same, I don't enjoy the actual dinner, because I am so concerned about others getting their meals etc, I enjoyed having the leftovers last night for dinner. LOL...yes, having the refrigerator half way down the narrow stairway, (and yes there is a turn!) and having to go back up would be a disaster.

Caitlin, Yay for a new laptop! That is nice that Frank cooks. Glad he is feeling better.

Carolyn, great job on Afterburn...now I remember why I do not do that one...ugh on Burpees and Mountain Climbers.

Josie, I missed your post...hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving.

Diane Sue, funny how people are so different...my family (except John) likes the stuffing that was in the turkey, We always have too much so there is a pan of "dressing" along side it on the table and everyone always asks which is which, because they want the one that was in the bird. It sounds like your family had a great time at your house. I like that the kids sing etc...better than staring at their phones. John even mentioned that he only saw one of ours looking at his phone, and it was only for a few minutes.

Today is our Clean the Training Hall day....hope there are a lot of members that show up!

Take care,
