Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 10/31

I ended up doing the LIVE Mobility/Yoga Fusion workout that Cathe did yesterday. Really liked it, though it's on the long side for my attention span when it comes to that type of thing.

We actually have a bit of sun today. Waiting for the part for our dryer which should get put in on Monday, so I washed and hung out clothes this morning. DH apparently is refusing to do likewise as he says they will NEVER dry and is overly dramatic about it.

I'm totally on board with ditching the time change. It's one thing that the vast majority of people in this country can unite on! And yeah it's not nearly as bad since I'm not working, but I still don't like it. I can change the time in my car, but DH's usually just stays wrong until the next time change fixes it. LOL

Only two weeks till I get to go get Derek! Still more than 6 till Nick flies home. :(

Carolyn great job with Fit Split Shred Cardio/Push Day and To the Mat Legs and Glutes. To the Mat is one of my favorite workouts.

Valerie great job with the XTrain workouts and extra pushups!

Did the whole Pedal Power spin. an hour with warm up and cool down. first time for the entire one though I've been close using premixes. I backed off on a few of the standing segments for a little bit and rode them sitting instead. Felt good to know I can finish an hour. rode hard but not too hard to finish it. that is the trick. I can t ride at full bore the whole hour. for a posture break I step down from the pedals and hike up my pants that always creep down. doesn't take 10 seconds and really helps with longer rides.

Cathy who knows what people will find to disagree about..... ??? If you believe vaccines implant magnets or tracer particles, or any Qanon baloney , it doesn't take a lot of imagination to find things to disagree on.
most of the western states agree and have passed legislation to move to full time DST, even British Columbia would, but it has to come from the federal level. I'd be happy with switching to either time system, standard time or daylight, and just leaving it in place all year. I personally think all year standard time would be better and that doesn't require federal approval. there have been a few articles about why all year DST might be unpleasant for people in more northern latitudes, like WA. it wont get light until after 9 am in the winter. and stays light until 5:30. I think 8 to 4:30 would be more livable but I would adjust to either but want to trash the 2x a year changes.

good luck with the dryer... I would be in tough shape here without one!

This morning I did Fit Split Low Impact Cardio/Metabolic Conditioning. My time for the cardio was 18 minutes with 132 calories burned. I skipped the walk out planks with jacks and mountain climbers, both done on the sliding discs. My average heart rate was 131 and maximum heart rate was 158. Metabolic Conditioning was 26 minutes, 90 calories burned, average heart rate 108 and maximum heart rate 136. I went to the farmer’s market after my workout and I found some nice vegetables.

Cathy, the Live Mobility/Yoga Fusion sounds good. It’s been so long since I hung clothes outside to dry! My mother always had a clothes line and I would hang some things outside for her. She had a dryer, but still liked to put sheets out in the sunshine sometimes.

Valerie, great job doing all of Pedal Power. That’s quite an accomplishment.
