Today I did CDorner Step Workout #242, 62 minutes, heart rate 113/161, 250 calories. I then did CDorner Do Anywhere Gorgeous toned arms 27 minutes, 65 calories, heart rate 87/118. This was done with loop bands and Chris used her extra heavy bands. I used the Cathe Heavy and Extra Heavy band. I liked it. It was not an easy workout. She works back with rows and arms also 1 set of slow count pushups. I finished with CDorner Beach wake Up morning stretch, 11 minutes, 15 calories.
Total time was1hour 40 minutes, 330 calories.
I slept better last night, but woke to our lawn guy mowing. I had asked him to do it every other week till the month was over so it was unexpected. Temps are getting in the 50's and dropping some to the 40's and the grass is going dormant so I told him this would be the last mowing till next season.
Cathy, nice work with Love Me Some Kickboxing and Arms Legs and More. My problem is space to have multiple pieces of equipment set up. It depends on what it is, but the stuff and the dog all get in the way.
Valerie, sorry it is too smokey to go out for a ride. We have a lot of choices for groceries here. If I wanted to to Sprouts it is 13 miles. Not far, but not like around the corner like where I lived before. Aldis is in quite a few areas, only the one Whole Foods in Oklahoma City. I am glad that I am just inside the edge of the city so I can get delivery. Lots of Walmart. There was another grocery store coming in, but I cannot remember which one. The city next to us has a Cash saver grocery, but I went once and will not go again. It is basically Homeland broken and left-over stock. Veggies and fruits were half rotten. One of the smaller cities we lived in got a Williams grocery. It is a regular supermarket. I was happy as if I needed something the closest store was Dollar General. Otherwise, it was a bit of a drive. The issue there was that the City made deals to get it in and they have a 1 cent higher sales tax than everyone else.
I get the sleeping issues. We have different sleeping times. When I get up and he has came home, I keep the lights off and try not to look around much. That way I can usually fall back to sleep. I think Relaxium Sleep is sort of a Timed-Release sleep supplement. There was another I tried that worked, but I usually cut them in half and I don't know if that messed with the timed release or not. I did not want to take 10 mg of melatonin. It had other stuff in it as well. I think it was Natures Bounty. Those that have anti-histamines in them make my dry mouth so much worse. Same with dextromethorphan cough meds. They make me drowsy and dry mouthed. That is another issue I have with sleeping. It wakes me up when I feel dry all the way down my throat. I put gum in my mouth at night. For some reason it helps better than dry mouth drops and rinses.
Carolyn, I picked up a catalogue of places with fresh produce around here. Some say to call? I told my husband that if I could remember the company, there is one that you can go online and order local meat, fruits and vegetables etc from different farmers and they put it all together and deliver. You have to sign up for it and schedule delivery times. I think it might be a Kroger that I heard on the radio that is coming to Oklahoma City. I have never seen one before. Whole Foods has some Oklahoma local stuff. I get Scissortail kale and salad mixes from there.
Judy, mice workouts with the Peloton rides and strength and core. I don't think my shoulders could have taken those dumbbell tosses on the short Total Body workout. I remember having an instructor do that on an old workout that I had and told my grandchildren who were watching not to try that. Reminds me when I was 5 and threw a large rock in the air to watch it come down and it hit me in the head. Sometimes I wonder what kids are thinking.
