we were getting a delivery this morning so could not go anywhere until this afternoon. we rode our regular trail, 15 miles and 1 hr 15 min. DH's bike had a flat but he aired it up and it held for the ride. must be a tiny leak.
diane sue, one of our vehicles has the cut off when you stop at a light. it works fine, somehow always restarts, but it takes getting used to. ours is a Ford Ranger. it has an off switch you can activate to bypass this feature because it does mess with your head! you have to activate the switch every time you start up the truck. Im not too big a fan of the proximity sensors on newer cars. I dont want that noise every time I go in or out of the garage or try to park in a normal parking lot. I do not want it pushing me back into a lane when I have good reasons to move out of a lane. I like the rear camera.
I love sirrus! most of our drive to and from MT there is no other radio. it doesn't work in western WA very well because the signal gets blocked by trees and hills too often to bother with it, but in open country its lovely. we don't listen all the time but 11 hours is a long drive and entertainment helps pass some of the time. I read a lot but cant do that straight for 11 hours either.
most fireplaces suck WAY more warm air out of the room than they generate. this one created almost wind in the room, sucking out air so vigorously..... not what you want to warm up a room. we tried it when we first bought the house, but it's for the country "look.' we got some tight sealing glass doors, put some logs in there for effect, and never use it. we have a wood stove that burns wood efficiently and use it in winter to heat the room we use most without heating the entire house.
I was having issues with bursitis so was doing PT. I got a cortisone shot that took care of it but I still do some of the PT, nothing elaborate. stretching, bridges, yoga moves. dont want the bursitis to return.
