Shopped yesterday so no workout. This morning I did STS 2 Standing Abs/Floor and then I did the Lower/Upper Body Balance Discs. And...My Fitbit lost its mind. I was working out, and at the point where the workout switched to a stretch, SB lying stretch, my heart rate didn’t drop, it actually went up. I could tell that most definitely it wasn’t high anymore. So, after a couple minutes, I lifted it off my skin, it went up some more. So, I took it off, still stayed high. I did an old school, clock and finger count, Fitbit 140, reality 90. It continued to stay high until about 8 minutes after I was done with the actual workout. When I finished, ended it, I did another old school heart rate and it was 78, checked watch and it was 77. So, while I got extra zone minutes, I’d really prefer if it was legit. In this crazy weather we are having, Nick in Fort Worth is currently colder than we are as it's only 14 there while we have a balmy 18.
Shannon I had clear, dry roads the entire drive to shop. A few flurries while I was over there but nothing that stuck. Glad you didn't get much snow. I saw Cathe's announcement on FB. Honestly, she has far more followers there and gets tons more feedback. I wish the new workouts coming out was timed differently. I need to save up for my trip to see the boys, and I know I'll want them, and she's teasing that there will be a bonus for preordering early. Ugh!
Valerie I hope it only takes one more meeting to get your pacemaker set correctly. Those techs from the company can make really good money. My parents sit near a guy at hockey, who works for a company that makes replacement body parts. I think for like knee/hip kind of thing. He actually sits in on surgeries as a consultant and he said he makes more money than the surgeon! When I mentioned it to Nick, he said he has a couple friends from his masters group that are going into that line of work. I didn't even know it existed.
Diane Sue I have found the dogs we've had to be very different than cats. Our last dog generally ended up killing things, if we couldn't get them away, and he loved playing keep away. They were toys to him and once they stopped moving were no longer fun. Except rabbits, the couple of those he got, he ate. The dog before that had more retriever in her. The best was the time, she brought me an eyes closed baby bunny. She hadn't hurt it at all, just carried it in her mouth. I had no idea where the nest was, so I put her on her leash, and she took me directly back to the nest. I put the baby back, and she spent the next few days in her fenced kennel area.
