Peeps?

THANK YOU, Robin, for starting a Peeps check-in! I, too, have wanted to join a check-in but since I'm a realative newbie here (July) I didn't know where I could "fit" in, so to speak. (Very LITTLE fitness joke there, ha ha.)

I did the lower body work from Push/Pull, plus the Plie squats from Supersets, and all the abs from Supersets followed up by Stretch Max with the resistance band.

Eating has been good today, hurrah! Just had a plain Greek yogurt with honey and a pinch of cardamon and a ripe pear for the afternoon snack. Yummy. Tastes like fall!

I look forward to getting to know the other Peeps better and seeing what everyone is doing to reach their fitness goals.

I'm happy to see so many want to be a peep. NOT Robin's peeps, just THE peeps. The rules are there are no rules. If you want to post a work out, diet, gains, losses, personals - go for it. If you just have time for a quick hello, so be it. If you can't stop by every day, that's OK. And if you have a slow day and want to park it here, well, that's alright too. This will just be an all purpose check-in.

Peeps rule!

ETA - Catherine - I'm glad BIL is doing okay! Great news!!

I have been having major calf DOMS after monday's GS Legs workout and last nights KPC so definately doing UB work tonite!

Also joined in on a weight loss challenge at the office too. $50 to the pot, most percentage weight loss between today and our Christmas party 12.20.09 wins! we weighed in this morning.. funny the difference between home and work scale :eek:

Thanks to Cathe I'm down a total of 7 lbs. since mid August, so think that's pretty good... although depends on the day as somehow I can fluxuate 2+/- on any given day... oh well, need to PICK a weigh in day and stop the blasted morning reveal! only 33 more to go until DH has to quit smoking (ick!)

So glad for Catherine and family on BIL and sending happy thoughts to Stephanie and baby for tomorrow!
 
Just sticking my head in to tell Catherine that I am glad you got some good news about your BIL today, I have been thinking about you.

Also wanted to send Stephanie happy baby vibes for tomorrow.

I am having a sucky day today and a really bad headache so I won't say much. Thanks Robin for starting this check in!!! You are da bomb!!!!

Off to go for a short run with the poochies and then a hot bubble bath - ahhhhhhh!!!!

What a great check-in! I would like to join the ranks of the illustrious Peeps, too! Prayers for Stephanie and her baby, and to Catherine's BIL.

I have a silly question to ask- what does the designation under people's names "Catheite, Cathlete, etc" mean?

I am going to do Cathe's October rotation, starting tomorrow :) I ordered slow and heavy for the occasion, and since I don't have it yet, I'm going to start on week two first, and go for step fit and B&G in the AM. I'm back to clean eating and feeling good about it, no sugar for the past three days.

I have a silly question to ask- what does the designation under people's names "Catheite, Cathlete, etc" mean?

I believe it has to do with the number of posts you have submitted. from 1 to 99 you are a member.
100 to 999 you are a Cathlete
1000 to 9999 you are a Catheite
and over 10,000 you are a DeCathelete...

That's what I wanna be when I grow up :D
 
I was desperately searching the Cathe check-in forums for somewhere to post. I feel like I just don't belong here anymore, but I read this thread and recognized so many people whose posts I enjoy reading. So, I'd like to give this check-in a try and rekindle my love of the Cathe forum :D.

Tonight was a live yoga class. It was fun and hard and now I have a headache and am very hungry. Eating was quite bad today and included licorice, frozen yogurt, and sun chips :rolleyes:
