Pace Weights and HRM

Not unless the magnets are close to the HRM, if that.
I can't see them being that close at any time.

Hey Christina!

Thank you for your reply. My Pace Weights should be delivered on Thursday. I can't wait!!!!!

Can you tell me where you bought them from? Do they work well with the barbell plates? TIA ;)

I have Pace Weights, and yes, they will stick to your BB plates. They even stick to the vinyl coated plates that came with my Troy Lite set!! I got mine here and I LOVE them: http://paceweights.com/

I also bought a set of fractional plate weights for my BB. These are SO COOL. I have 2 BB's and I'm thinking about getting a 2nd set of these: http://www.ironwoodyfitness.com/fractionals.php

I have Plate Mates, too. I love them as well but they won't stick to vinyl coated plates. You can get donut shaped Plate Mates that will slip onto a BB, and hex shaped for DB's. http://www.theplatemate.com/

While it is not necessary to have any of these things for STS, they make it SO easy to lift at the proper percentage of your 1RM!!! Now that I have them, I couldn't part with any of them. ;) :D

Dear Magda,

I got them at www.paceweights.com. They only took a few days to get. I love, love, love them. I am doing STS now and they are working great with it.

I love mine, too. I didn't used to think they were all that because I was always having to hit PAUSE to get them on before the next move started. But with STS you have a bit more time between moves to make adjustments. Magnetic microweights are especially helpful when working shoulders, where the jump to the next higher dumbbell is often too much weight. I always hated having to decide between too heavy or too light. Microweights turn you into Goldilocks: Everything's just right. Love 'em love 'em love 'em.
