Good Morning all

Wendy - forgive my brain fart in yesterdays post - TM is treadmill - DUH!:7 I just figured it out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I had no brain power left yesterday:-(

I'm not sure which workout I'm gonna do today. I had a dream last night about showing someone new my Cathe collection.:) Hmmmmmm - someone analyze that. LOL!

Morning Ladies ..
(Phase 3 - week 13 - recovery - classic)

Angie talk about dreams .. I FINALLY slept last night .. and had the weirdest dreams .. VERY strange .. the kind you wake up and say .. WTH?? .. LOL

Worked legs yesterday and I am sore .. then taught a power walk class and it was tough .. but felt good .. got a good sweat going .. the heat was kinda bad!! LOL

Today in Kenpo at lunch .. and tonight is hour long power yoga .. can't wait .. I really need it!! need to stretch these muscles out!!

SIL was so sore from core torture class she could not move at all yesterday .. she said she got up to get out of her chair at work and fell on the floor .. LOL}( .. said her legs would not function right .. LOL .. but she did make it to the power walk and although complained the entire time she made it!! Said she is going to do kenpo w/me again .. gotta love her!!

OK .. hope everyone has a great day .. great workouts . . and I will check back later for personals!!
 
Laura - you are so in to torture. LOL! I wonder how you treat those family members that you don't particularly like}( Good thing you actually like SIL or she just might be dead by now. LOL

Well - I've been checking out BBC all morning. So, I took the plunge. I was able to get it off HSN for $46.90. I googled coupons and found one that offered $15 off for a first time customer. I just love coupons!!:) I'm sure this will be worth it - if they can give Wendy DOMS, I'm sure it will be worth every penny:) . So Wendy, is this as tough as the X? Does it really build muscle too or is it mostly a cardio challenge? I remember you saying that you have only done one workout right? Which one? It looks like I'd better either get my 15 year old treadmill fixed or think about getting a new one. I think the motherboard needs replaced in my old one. I've already replaced it once, so I'm not too crazy about having to do it again. I think I would be better off starting all over with a new one. Now I can't wait til they get here.

I've only done the butt and legs work out plus 2 of the cardios. BBC is endurance lifting so it's light. It's not the same as the X at all but endurance is important too and will give you added definition. }(

I remember years back when I had first started exercising again (for the umpteenth time! LOL)...I was doing Beach Body's Great Body Garunteed. The first time I did the leg tape I was crippled the next day! I was in soooo much pain! My coworker was laughing at me trying to function in the office. :7 :7 :7

I am doing yoga this evening as well, Laura. I am hoping to do Yoga X from beginning to end again but it all depends on my mood and what time I start!:p
 
Good Afternoon Xers! Sorry I am so late in posting today!

Classic/Phase 3/Week 11/Day 4 (I think-kinda sorta but not really!:p )

This morning I got in 30 mins of a spin class. I ended up being called out for a stinky diaper and there was only 15 mins before cool down at that point so I didn't bother going back...No biggie though. I was just happy to get there today. :)

Tonight is Yoga X, my brotha'! LOLOL :7 :p :7 ;)

Tomorrow is Legs and Back/ARX. I am trying to decide if I should do ARX before Legs tomorrow....Things that make ya go hmmmmm. :)

I am getting hungry now...must go find some grub!:9

Hi Ladies,

I did SJP Step & Weights premix and coremax 3. My biceps are so weak, always have been. This endurance rotation is really good for me right now. I'm down another pound:)
I'm off to get my hair cut and take DS to a movie.

Angie-I think 600 calories for Imax 3 is correct. Yesterday my calorie burn for Imax 3 was 619 calories.

Laura-I would love to take your classes, they sound right up my alley! Your SIL just keeps comin' back for more!

Wendy-So doing ARX first really makes a difference-go figure. I need to fit in yoga X too. You don't realize how good it makes you feel until you don't do it.

WTG on the weight loss, Diana! What movie are you going to see? Yes, doing ARX first made a huge difference for me the other day. I just don't know if doing it before Legs and Back is wise but I guess it can't be any worse then trying to do it after! OUCHEES! LOL I guess I will give it a shot! }(
 
I ordered a new full size black step platform today! I don't need the risers cause I have 6 of 'em between my high step and the ones I bought to go with my original platform. I got the one I use now VERY used off of ebay a while back. I paid a TOTAL (including shipping) of $15.00 for it! It's the teal one and the rubber on top was already coming up a bit when I got it. It was a great purchase. Well worth the $ but I am ready for a shiny new one now! Very excited!:7 :7 :7
 
Hi girls

Back again - can you tell it's my day off or what?:) I just got done with Step Works - I like the workout but am not crazy about the music, except the cool down song. But, this workout really makes me sweat and I burned a lot of calories too.;-)

Wendy - I'll have to try ARX first sometime and see how that goes. Good idea:) Congrats on your new step!! I have the reebok step that I got on sale at a department store several years ago for $25 - what a bargain. I love having new workouts or equipment to look forward to - makes it fun!

Diana - Congrats on your weight loss! Hope you have fun at the movies. I saw a clip of that new Will Farrell movie and it looks like a hoot. I also can't wait for Spiderman 3 to come out - I think it's due out in May. I've been a fan since I was a kid and have about 3 boxes full of Spiderman comic books. Can't remember what else is out right now....

OK - gotta go grocery shopping - ug! :(

OK .. ya,ll pray I make it thru this work day w/o loosing it .. I have been trying to get back to check in since lunch .. $%#$@^@%^@^ .. it is CRAZY busy!! and we are collecting in a not so good neighborhood and people are NOT happy .. JEEZE .. think I am going to have to have some coors lights tonight after yoga .. LOL}( .. and I am not kidding .. I am serious!!

Wendy .. Angie .. good deals you got on exercise stuff .. I am such a moron .. I pay whatever .. don't shop .. ya'll gotta pass me some of your shopping sauve!!!:)

Hey Everybody -

Did Leaner Legs as soon as I walked in the door so as not to get sidetracked. I'm good at getting sidetracked, lol.

Wow...everybody's buying new stuff. You're peaking my interest in BBC, I'm going to have to look into it. Wendy, is it in the line of Leaner Legs or Power Hour? I have that green step but thank goodness the rubber is still in place. Maybe because I rarely do step, lol. I mostly use it as a bench but my daughter does step occasionally. For a high step, I use the original Fanny lift boxes. They work just as well and I think they're high enough for this 5' body.

Diana, congrats (!) on the weight loss. It feels so good, I know.

Angie, I hope you read my post about the Bar Method. Today I picked up the Fat Burner one and will do it over the weekend and I'll let you know if it's tougher.

Laura, I wish I had you around to work me out too. Can you adopt me as your SIL too? Please?

I hear ya Nancy - I normally don't get to post til later either. So, I always go back to the previous day and check out the posts. I did read your post and am looking forward to hearing what you have to say about the other workouts. Inquiring minds want to know!:)
