P90X Jan/Feb Starters TGIF

Hi Everyone,

It feels strange to be the one starting the thread. I never did get HSTA done yesterday so I will probably be doing that today. DS passed his drivers test yesterday and is on cloud 9. I also bit the bullet this morning and ordered Barry's Bootcamp. They have the delivery date as the 23rd. I hardly expect it to take that long.

I'll check back with personals after my workout. A little self motivation:)

Hello all -

I wasn't sure what to do today so I put in Muscle Max. I have forgotton how hard this one is. It seems like Cathe gets every muscle. My forearms are even sore while I'm typing this. LOL! Plus I still had some residual DOMS in my triceps from BBC yesterday. I put in Kenpo for DH when he gets home. He needs to work up to some cardio endurance so I thought this would be a good one to start him off with - there's lots of breaks and it shouldn't wind him tooooo bad. He's never done a cardio workout before so I'm hoping he'll do OK with this one.

Off to go shopping with girlfriend tonight and have dinner. I'm so looking forward to a girls night off. I have also been very good with my eats so far today so I can have a few totties and a nice dinner and not feel guilty. :)

Diana - congrats to DS! Also, congrats on getting BBC! If you got it off of HSN you will probably get it pretty quickly - I sure did. In fact, I haven't even tried them all yet.:eek:

I'm still so darned pumped about Cathe's announcement! I can't wait to get my hands on these new workouts. I hope it doesn't take too long to get them out to us.:) :)

Hey "X"ers.......it's a sunny high 40's day in Minnesota, I'm lovin' it, melt this snow we just got on Wednesday.

I went for a 40 minute walk at lunch. I'm not sure what I will do when I get home. I'm hoping a run while DS rides bike or rollerblades beside me. If not, I will be doing Legs and BackX with ARX, too.

Classic/Phase 3/Week 13/Day 5

Hey X'ers!:)

I just finished my work out. So much for my Budokon idea! LOL I felt like doing more so I did the hi/lo section of MIC and then decided to pull out ARX! }(

Tomorrow is my rest day finally and Sunday hopefully I will hold back and just do yoga.:p

Monday I start my Barry rotation!:7

Morning Ladies ..

Hey .. feeling better today .. actually fit in 50 min. power yoga yesterday and helped my back a lot!

Today is rest day due to don't ahve enough time to do anything ..

We did our last cooking to raise money for the American Cancer Society .. we sold 230 hamburger plates :eek: .. man . . now my back is really killing me .. but all for a good cause. yes I did have one of the plates .. it was delicious!!

then straight after work going to meet the gals for some drinks and MORE food .. celebrating one of my dearests friend's 50th b-day .. she is not a happy camper about it .. but we are going to cheer her up .. she is beautiful .. fit .. and full of the energy of a 20 year old!!

It is 80 degrees here today .. :eek: .. sunshine .. then tommorrow we are in for some more terrible storms and possible tornados .. going to get up early and get a long run on the TM in .. CC5 probably .. or CC6 .. then some yoga and abs .. BEFORE the bad weather attacks!! (scared will loose power)

Exercise for me has become almost hobby like as well as a part of my life. If I am bored and looking for something to do, one of the first things I will think about is exercising! Granted, if I have already done it for the day, I am not nutty enough to do more (unless it yoga or stretching) but I do thoroughly enjoy it so it's easy for me to get going most of the time. The end of the X was a killer physically cause I was soooo tired but mentally the drive was still there. I know that no matter how cr@ppy I feel when I start, I will feel 1000 times better when I'm done so I just push through the bad part! Exercise has become a part of me I guess...:)

Hi Ladies,

I just finished HSTA-I had forgotten what a great workout this is. I know, I say that about all Cathe's workouts. I forgot about those 1 arm tricep dips-oh my. I loved all the leg presses though!!!

Angie-I did musclemax on Tuesday and was still feeling it in my shoulders today.

Marcia-great job on the weight loss. I also enjoy running with my son while he rides his bike. This is my youngest son and he is a tad bit on the heavy side. I try to encourage him to ride his bike and walk with me too.

Laura-I read about the kidney stone. I am so sorry you had to suffer through that and am glad you are feeling better.

Wendy-Can you give me the BB rotation you are going to do. It sounded to me like they are intended to be used each day-a different workout each day.

Diana :: congrats to DS on passing his driver’s exam…I just received BBC for my birthday – previewed a few of them and did one of the non-TM cardios this morning – yowzas!

Wendy :: meant to ask, what is budokon like? It probably came up in the cheetah thread before, but I can’t remember.

Laura :: have fun celebrating your friend’s b-day ~ glad you are feeling better.

This morning I did B&B, ARX, and BBC's arms & abs non-TM cardio. Tough stuff! I love it.
