Out of the loop

I am sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He will always be with you, and I am glad you got to spend as much time as you have with him.
I have noticed you have not been around lately - I miss your fun posts, so I hope you get back to them soon. Best of luck transistioning to cold and snow from warm and sunny!!

Dawn,

God bless you and your family. Praying your dad is resting in God's loving arms, exactly where he is meant to be for all eternity. Take care of yourself and remember how much you are loved by the King.

Hi Dawn, so sorry to hear about your father. I understand how you feel. I lost my mother to Pancreatic cancer & 20 months ago my then 6 year daughter was diagnosed with a lymphoma.
Wishing you all the best!

I'm so sorry to hear about your father.
My father died of cancer in 1989, so I know what you mean about relief that the suffering is over.

Welcome back!

Thank you

everyone for your support!! I stand in awe at how many friends I have had through out this whole ordeal - both at home and here at the Cathe forums.

This whole thing has made me realize that I have to stop and check on those around me who may be suffering or in need. Sometimes it is so easy to get wrapped up in our worlds immediately around us that we forget to look at the world as a whole.

My strong faith in God, His Son, and The Holy Spirit has helped me to cope in knowing that my father died with a strong faith, always trying to do the right thing. I will see him and my mom again.

I am really taking my time getting back into the groove here at home. I felt like a stranger in my own home yesterday when I arrived back from FL - (21 degrees - ew). No workouts until Monday - however I am going to go to the Chiropractor today, make fresh juices through out the weekend (I luv my juicer), watch my son play his last league basketball game tonight for his jr. high school and watch the MSU Spartans play and watch the Super Bowl (cannot decide who to root for - just hope it's a great game).

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Baylian - Dawn

PS - I have never had Cathe post to a thread of mine - that was soooo cool.

(((((Hugs))))) - I will keep you in thoughts and prayers. I cannot even imagine . . .

I hope your daughter is improving each and every day!
