Our new Workout Interval Timer

We have now added a Workout Interval Timer to our free online Workout Manager. This was originally developed by us to be used when filming interval workouts, but we though many of you might like to use it for your own purposes. Just click on the minus or plus symbols to change the time of any interval or section. You can also name and save workouts you create to be used again. Wow, I just went and played around with the timer and I hit start and heard Cathe saying, "Are you ready? Let's warm-up". Very fun!

I love this! I don't know if this is a bug, but I can't hear Cathe on my iPad. I can hear her cues fine on my laptop. I'd love to be able to use this with my phone or iPad. Thanks for sharing it with us!
 
I am going to use it for my tabata workouts - I can set it for a 5 minute warm-up and then do 20 sec high, followed by 10 sec rest for 8 reps, and then a 1 min "cool-down" and then start up my 20 sec high, 10 sec rest for 8 rep. I think it is so helpful that I can hear Cathe counting down, too! This way I don't have to be able to see the counter I can just listen for the bells and Cathe. I would think any kind of interval training could use this - on an elliptical, treadmill, rower, rebounder, etc. If it does work on a smart phone or similar device it would be perfect for running/jogging/walking intervals, too.

But I am sure there are a lot of other ways to use it, too and I look forward to seeing what others have to say.

I guess you and I are the only ones here that don't know how to use this. :confused:...I was hoping that there would be an explanation in the Workout Manager itself.
