Hey, Cathe. I hope I can explain myself. With you being exercising for so long and being an expert on fitness, I was hoping you could clarify this for me. Especially since you are a woman like us and understand our bodies better than anyone.
I know that we go thru female cycles that make us retain more water and gain a few water lbs for just that week that we are going thru it.
But after a week of that, (going thru my cycle) I did my work out and brought it up a notch, trying to shock my body: Did weights that I hadn't done before and did the hard step aerobics also with more effort than I usually do. This week I thought, for sure, I have lost a couple of lbs. but nothing.
Do our bodies sometimes do this kind of stuff? You work hard but don't necesarily see much of a change in weight?
I stuck to my diet, no changes. Drank the water. I have been loosing 1 lb a week, which I am happy with.
What do you think? Has this has happened to you?
