What is 'stromin"?

Madonna had some song out years ago that said, "I fell in love with San Pedro," and it always sounded like "I fell in love with some bagel" to me. (maybe I was just hungry.)

In "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" the lyric "the girl with kaleidoscope eyes" sounds an awful lot like "the girl with colitis go by."

There was a discussion last nigh with some ladies in a different online forum about the last words in "Sweet Home Alabama." Sure sounds like "My donuts, G** dam*." I think the real lyrics are "Montgomery has the answer."

I think she meant to say "strumming" or "strummin'", as in how you play a guitar.

The actual lyrics say strommin, but I agree the meaning is probably like a short version of strumming.

Catherine, where do you see the lyrics spelled that way? Everywhere I have searched they're spelled correctly: Strumming.
