I don't want to give away what happened yet in case someone hasn't watched it yet, but did you ball your eyes out the last 5 minutes? Then, when they wrote across the screen what happened, I lost it! So, sooo sad! I feel so bad. :-(

It hasn't come on in the West yet! ;-) Sounds pretty awful and, being the fanatical Survivor fan I am, will be tuned in.

Thanks for the warning....as emotional as I've been today, I'm sure I'll shed a few tears, too.

Vickie, I'm so glad I didn't spoil it. I didn't think about you Westeners! I figured some may have taped it to watch it later. Have your tissue ready. I was not prepared. Poor hubby was talking to me during it and I couldn't even respond. BTW, the voted off "Survivor" will be on the Early Show tomorrow morning. They are usually on around 8:00 AM EST. Enjoy-it's a good show tonight...but sad.

I forgot it was on. Someone today, Friday, please tell me what happened!!! How could I forget it was on?? Well, I have blonde hair, and I just do not know if I am coming or going this week. Now I am dissapointed...Lori

Oh, I could relate to that one, big time! I had tears spilling down my face and was SOOOO glad that she was able to be there in time!
I was surprised though that she did go back again, especially since this was a big issue for her the last time around as well!

Jenna left the show to go home to be with her terminally ill mother. She was so afraid her mom would pass away while she playing the game that she told Jeff she wanted to go home. Thankfully for her she did what she felt she needed to do as her mom passed away 8 days later.

And, Richard, was bitten by a little shark. That part was pretty funny and his injury was minimal. Interesting show....
 
What happened on Survivor last night...

The Jenna that was in the Richard Hatch tribe asked to go home because she was her mom was getting worse. The host (I can never remember his name) really raked her over the coals (IMHO) about asking to go home. He said she was talkign like she was getting information from home. She told him that as her mother's only daughter it was just a vibe but she really felt strongly that she had made a mistake about going to the island and that she wanted to go home. He made all of the other cast aways talk about how they felt & laid into her pretty well about backing out. He questioned whether she was just backing out or if she was really concerned about her mom. One of the cast aways said no one had any right to question her motives (3 cheers & a great big hug to him!). They let her leave and then at the end they splashed across the screen that her mom passed away 8 days after her return. Thank God she went home!

Cried like a baby!

Her Mom had cancer just to let you know. Sooo sad and I am still feeling so bad this morning. I couldn't control my tears when they flashed across the screen her Mom died 8 days after she got home. On the Early Show this morn, Jenna said when she got to her Mom's bedside after returning, she leaned down and whispered in her ear that she was home and her mom let out a big sigh. She said she felt her Mom was waiting on her! I am so happy she decided to go home. I felt everyone supported her very well with the decision. Also Deborah, I think the reason Jeff asked her so many questions was to let everyone else know what she was thinking. I don't think he felt she was backing out just to get out of there. (My opinion) Plus, it meant that their team was losing a member which could hurt them but of course the team encouraged her to go. Now, the Richard Hatch "shark story" is another whole thing. What was he thinking? He drives me CRAAAAZY! Ha!
