OT- Great Book

Thanks, Cathy. I'm always on the look out for a good read. Right now, I'm finishing "The Ticket Out: Darryl Strawberry and the Boys of Crenshaw". it's about the deeply talented high school baseball team Straberry played on and how life has treated all these guys in the intervening years. Very interesting, but tragic for a lot of them.

Awesome - thanks! I'm always looking for good read recommendations. I am currently reading The Kite Runner as my husband raved about it. Just finished Malcom Gladwell's 'Blink' - and I really enjoyed it. Next up are 'The Corrections' by Dennis Franzen 'Snowflower and the Secret Fan'. Thanks again!
 
I haven't heard of that book, but I just finished a book called "White Mare" and thought it was a very fine read! It's part of a trilogy, and book two will be out soon (I hope. I heard it's finished, but haven't heard when it will be available to the public).
