Only downloads can fit with Workout Blender??

Thanks! I forgot to ask can we change our workout blender programs once we set them up if we want to? Like switching up the programs to our own liking? Hope this makes sense. I am assuming we can for the endless options and choices we will have.

So those of us who purchased STS and numerous other DVDs when downloads were not offered must purchase downloads in order to use with workout blender.

Are we expected to pay full price? If I were to purchase today I would just get the downloads. I have no need for both. Can I exchange my DVDs for downloads or some other arrangement? Thanks.

Yes, you will need to purchase the downloads just as people who once had VHS and CD's now have to purchase DVDs and MP3's. The Workout Blender is free though. We don't offer an exchange program since used DVDs are not something we sell.

I think this is very short sighted in the digital age. This is not similar at all to converting from VHS to DVDs. I can take a VHS or DVD and using free software encode these into a digital format. In fact I have already encoded all my Cathe DVDs into digital copies play alongside the Cathe downloads that I have purchased. I have no intention of paying twice for content I already own.

Workout Blender is a fantastic product and the fact that long-time Cathe customers who own her DVD catalog are being shut-out is a big disappointment for me. Possibly even a deal breaker.:mad::mad::mad:

I can see why one-time paying-customers become incentivised to become non-paying customers.

Workout Blender

If we had advertised free updates and downloads when you purchased your DVDs I could understand your point, but we never did this and it certainly shouldn't be expected. Most of our long term customers at one time purchased all of our workouts on VHS. When DVD came out many of these same customers re-purchased the same workouts on DVD while others did not. Some customers just preferred to purchase the new workouts that came out on DVD and to keep their older workouts on VHS. This might be something you also do as an option.

When we first launched our download site we offered all of our customers a really incredibly cheap deal to purchase all or any of our downloads. We still offer quantity discounts of up to 50% when our purchasing downloads and have kept our download prices lower than our DVDs to encourage everyone to try our downloads. But, if you're expecting us to give our downloads away for free to customers who have previously purchased our DVDs this is not something that is economically feasible to do.

Software like the Workout Blender is very expensive to develop. Without the ability for us to have revenue streams to justify the cost of development we simply would not develop the product. Despite it's cost we will provide the WB to our customers for free. All you have to do is purchase the downloads from us and I think that is reasonable.

The WB has been designed to only work with mpeg4 files and we have been clear from the beginning that this software was only being developed for our digital downloads.

There is a big difference between editing software and what the WB can do. Besides being quicker and easier to use the WB also will offer our customers the ability to organize and share all of their premixes with other online users. I think when you see it you will understand what it can and can not do better.
