The lack of sleep caught up with me on Sat. & I tried the chiropractor first then she sent me to the hospital, where they gave me more meds:( & came home & slept some!
Sun. was grand-daughter's baptism!

ABSOLUTELY great on your workouts & keep it up!

Oh, Cathy, I'm so sorry!!! You have to be about out of your mind with fatigue & pain! BIG, BIG HUGS!!! I would be down, too. I swear I don't know how you keep doing it. :confused:
I didn't do anything yesterday evening. I purchased a second-hand bicycle from where I work, & my co-worker & I went to the garage to try several before we purchased them. Bear in mind, it has been at LEAST 40 years since I've been on a bike, plus I was in high heels. All to say that of course, I fell off - TWICE & hit the concrete hard enough to laugh my head off...:p:eek: My co-worker fell off, too, & she's hurt worse than I am...:rolleyes: So, I didn't feel like working out. Today, I don't feel too bad... sigh... How old am I???? You'd think I'd have learned something by now....

Cathy, I'm so sorry ....I wish they could figure out what's wrong. I meaan geez. I understand no sleep and pain and my doctor keeps wanting to give pills but not finding what is the reason is. I hope ur doctor isn't like that. It sounds like ur pain is getting bad.. I'm sorry.I hope u can sleep.
Well ladies I didn't get to exercise today I got home @ 730 ! Had to work late. But anyway I wanted to watch pres debate lol. So tomorrow I will have to make up for it tomorrow so I may do push pull in morning and around 3 ill get in a cardio. I hate taking rest days. I take one planned a week and don't like to because of Days like this .I mean you never know when its a have to day off. Llol oh well I'm not gonna beat myself up anymore.
 
Yeah, Renee, I would definitely have made America's Funniest Videos if someone had taped it. It was too funny! I had on a black sweater that was billowing out in the back & I was singing that part in Wizard of Oz where the lady is riding the bike, darting in & out of parked cars in the garage. :D Sometimes, I have too much fun at work! LOL
I didn't work out last night, either. I have a pretty good lump on my knee, & my shoulder is really sore... & I had to proof some minutes that my DH wrote for a group he's in (he's the secretary). By the time I got done with that, it was time to fix dinner...Today is another day!
Cathy: I SO hope you were able to get some sleep last night! Praying big time that you get some pain relief!!!

Awh Jane! I want to work with u! I love to work hard makes the day go fast but I also love to have fun at the same time! Where I am its onnly me and another girl... we can only joje so much together and she and I get along good but she's much younger and I can tell she feels we domt have a lot in common. But its better yhen it was..the girl before her wouuld come in and not say nothing at all leave at end of day say nothing and the dentist is like that as well. If after lunch I come in and doc is in heer office door open she shuts it as soon as I comme in. Lol. So I miss my oold job I made every one including pts laugh. Where I am now a pt was talking and afyer he left doc told me I need to learn to cut patient short or shed cut it for me.... yeh fun times. And shee wonders y she doesmt have high rate of return patients. I've been doing dentistry many yrs and I. Know what pts need to feel calm. A lot of pts said she to abrupt.
Ok push pull today. I feel good I feel like I want to do more but I think that is what burns me out, or wares me down. If I. Take day off next day ill do full body Weight and cardio to make up for rest day.

Good morning, ladies! I did LIS Cardio Supersets yesterday evening. That one is just right for me. I don't have to pause it to catch my breath. I do have to modify the push up portions, since I'm not supposed to do push ups, but other than that, I can do it!
Yeah, Renee, I have to be able to laugh wherever I work. I'm very, very lucky in that I've always worked in places that have allowed me to be myself. Yesterday, I left a note for my boss on a paper towel: "Please, I think we can afford better paper towels than these!" He laughed & said he agreed with me. They literally felt like a sheet of paper! Then my co-worker laughed & said she was just thankful the toilet paper wasn't as cheap as the paper towels! LOL:rolleyes: Unfortunately, your place of employment sounds dreadful! I wouldn't last long at a place like that! I'm going to have to dig out Push/Pull since you like it so much & give it a go. I'm sure there is a rotation with CTX. Just doing one of them each day would work. I love the ab work in that one - better than all the new ab moves that are out there.

Jane I love css that is so much my speed as well... I feel Successful on that one. Lol.
I'm really going to have too go thrh all my dvds and puut me a rotation I can handle and do same thing for four weeks and don't do moore til I do four weeks. Then each four weeks progress to harder ones. I think me mixing it up to much may be making me tired lol. I just have to make myself.
Jane that's wonderful u can do css without pauseing exspecialy since u have been out of commission!
Yes it is dreadful..I miss my old job but they let me go in 2007 while I was in BASIC training! I was with theem 11 years! They were like my family and I've had a ruff ttime since then. I had a good time there and patients even requested me. I did everything there. But yes they can get in trouble for it. I still dream I work there. Lol
Not surre what ill do today. Think ill do cardio not sure what. Maybe step for cardio hits again. Or a low imlact one like css and may do AB tomorrow because ill be off work. Friday. I have to prepare for that one

Good afternoon, ladies! Yesterday evening, I did Total Body Trisets Lower Body. I like the length of that one! So excited that they're going to be filming again this weekend!!!! YAY! & they have a lot of the editing done on what they've already filmed, so things are really moving along!
I'm not feeling very good today, so I may take this evening off. I have an acupuncture appointment this afternoon, so I'm hoping that will help. My glands under my ears are really sore.
Renee: What did you decide to do? Every time I've tried to do a rotation, something happens, so I've given up on that idea. :confused: I was reading a thread yesterday that talked about sticking to the same 2 leg workouts for a month, & that sounded good to me, but I don't know - I get bored very easily if I keep doing the same workout over & over...

Great job on tbt I haven't done that but once ..idk y.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna do I did step moves yesterday after workk and today LI CIRCUIT ...I love that one but I did uper body circuit was supposed to be 55 but it was 69 ! I was still doing the last cardio at 55! Lol I kept thinking now wait a minute shouldn't I b stretching by now? Lol. U described 'me Jane! I seem to always get off track or get bored.
Where is iit saying filming is starting this weekend? I didn't see it.

Hey y'all I was wondering I saw someone mention hijacking a thread and well I think I may be guilty off it butt I don't know I mean if a topic is interesting I comment and sometimes ask question to but its realted to that topic. And I don't know if I did or not I know sometimes I feel people will stoop posting on a thread after I added a comment like it died. But geez how else are we supose to learn and get to know one another? I read about it and felt so small lol I was shrinking right away! Lol I felt they we're talking right at me! Oh my I sure never mean to offend anyone.
 
Today I spent about 90 min. outside with yard work!

Lol yah iv had that problem for a couple yrs now. Embarrassing bbut had to ask what others thought about the cc pills.
I'm sleeping about 5 hrs a night now ..not to bad.
I hope every thing works out for u. Yes yard work! Leaves grr lol. I got cross train iin mail I did the intervals and step.. wasn't to high impact So far I did get confused spme. But I think ill do the 10 qo 10 or kick box tomorrow not sure.
Gawd I ate bad today. I'm worried right now about stuff and try not to. Its like I can't control it!
I ate a peanut butter on thin whole wheat bread. That was my dinner, but l then I kept going past the chili pot and ate a few bites then a cup of fritos.! Oh my gawd! I can usually not be tempted by super when I eat something else. I usually eat salad but I thought it wont hurt to eat pp now. Well hopefully thd rest of day will be better.

I don't know if u guys remember me saying not a lot of drama in my life lately? Well I new it couldn't last to long. Well Jane I hope u r work working!

Hello, all, I graduated to an 8 inch step

I know we all have our serious aches and pains, but we have to overcome them. I did not work out for a while because my back hurt so much, but I had to start again. Today, I did LowMax on an 8 inch step, and I did my upper body. Thank you for reading.

I had to say this but I have to take meds to sleep, and you might be against all kinds of medicine. I will say a prayer that you will have restful nights.

Congratulations on 5 hrs. a night! YAY:) & great on Cross Train:)
It's not embarrassing & I think as women we should be more open about these things & I think it was very brave of you to ask!
You should be keeping track of your food & calorie intake for a month
Keep track of your food for the "tooting" problem & the calories to see if it might explain why you are hungry!
If all you had for dinner was peanut butter & a thin whole wheat bread you will be hungry!
If you don't eat enough calories you may lose the weight BUT, when you start eating "normal" again you will gain back the weight plus you might lose some muscle mass along with the weight loss! You have to eat a minium of 1200 calories per day of "good" food & if you are working out(weight lifting & running, etc.,) you may have to eat up to 1800 calories per day

I'm not against medications. I understand & know people need to take medications!

Hello all, Renee and Cathy

I am seeing my pain doctor tomorrow, and I am getting pain meds. There was a big holdup in New York City, and the thieves stole the strongest paid meds, mainly percocet, which I cannot get now. I never took them every day because I know how addictive they are and they stop working. I also take a muscle relaxant called Flexeral which is very good, but you cannot take too many as they put you to sleep, and I have to get another pain med now.

I did MMA Boxing today, and I am doing the leg blast of Butts and Guts, and it is a killer. 46 and a half minutes of pain. I love this forum for those of us who have injuries. I will pray for all of you.
