**ONE DAY AT A TIME** SEPT.10 thru DEC.31

Well yesterday like I said was cardio hits the last one on there. Today I did 63 minutes lf yoga. I like Tamal Dodge for yoga as well as Cathe. He has a soothing voice! Makes me want to sleep lol. I think other then Yoga I may just. Rest. Or walk. I think I'm supposed to do a weight workout if not a rest day.. but imm kinda winding the week down. Tomorrow I count as first day of the week to get busy on my wo. So today ii may. Just relax. Such a nice day. Out today! Hope u all r enjoying the weather.
I'm excited they are filming today. I wish I was there watching! Lol

Cathy: Got a chuckle out of your comment about 2 left feet! I love dancing, but it takes me forever to get comfortable with it. Wonder if we'd like Zumba. Have you ever tried it?

I did some Yoga yesterday. I got the Exhale Core Fusion Yoga workout, so I tried that. Unfortunately, there were push ups in it, so I just did planks. Too many downward facing dogs, too, so I had to modify a lot. I was hoping it would be something I could do. Not all of the segments were like that, so I can at least utilize some of it. I'll try the other ones I got, too.
I was excited to see scenes from the filming. Glad to see Amanda & Cedie back. Hope Jai & Lorrayne are back, too, in some of X-train.

Jane... yes I cann imagine your frustration! I. Hand thumb hurting same time my foot was and forgot ii was like I guess I can do some yoga lol not.. to many down dogs hurt the thumb. Lol
Cathy hopee ur doing good I too had to giggle about ur left feet. Lol. I can only imagine how we all look trying to do these workouts. That's y I put on my fb that pic. Of georgous girl doinng a plank and a splitt pic of elephant loked like he was doing a plank. It said what I FEEL like I look like doing plannk what I probly look like doing pkank! I laughed a lot on that one cause the elephant was swayed in the back lol. I mean I think my form is good but when I se it in mirror I'm not in good form lol. My big butt up in air! I tickle my self I tell u. Lol !
I thinnk. Today I am. Gonna rest I'm not feeling good. Yesterday my jaws started hurting after cardio and weights and I don't know if its me grittting my teeth and tmj or if it is something, more serious.! I am a medical assistant 'so I KINDA know what that could mean so I am monitoring myself making sure im not having additional symptoms as well. So rest this evening ..I just need too noot overeat lol. Have good night guys..oh I forgot. ...is cathe filming today? I haven't heard anything!

I did Core Exhale Fusion Bootcamp yesterday evening. Tough workout (thanks Cathy!) Doesn't hold the appeal that Cathe's workouts do, but it's certainly different & hard!
Have been enjoying the teasers on Facebook & all the pictures at the filming of Xtrain.
Renee: Hope your jaw is not an indication of something bad. Are you feeling better today?
Cathy: Did you have a happy Thanksgiving, I hope?
Caitlin: How are things going for you? I'm sure your weather has gotten a little better by now.

Catching up with Saturday didn't do a workout! Sunday DD was out for a few hours & Monday we went to visit with the youngest GD(It's been 6 weeks since we've seen her!) & of course her parents too!
Today was step & body weight & stretch for a total of 91 min.:)

I don't think I can do Zumba because of my low back

Good going you guys on the workouts.. my jaws still hurt. On top of that I am having a headache since yesterday and it feels like I hit my head. I had this last week and I understand y then it ws ttom but not this week. I'm not doing good. I didn't exercise yesterday or today. I feel strange I guess. Like face is hot to I hope I'm not getting sick. I haven't taken two days off in a row for awhile. But I really want to get to feeling better so sleep tonight and hope I feel better tomorrow. Having issues with DS youngest one. Ill twll u guys more later. Just so frustrating. I lift him a message email cause I know I can't tell him anything he would just walk off. But DH said it was pretty harsh coming from his mom. Now I'm worried I said to much but I had to tell him the way I felt. I keep thinking ill say something to get through. I hope I didn't make it worse. Good night ladies.

Still no workouts today, but I'm feeling alitte better so I will get something in. I do not gk to work today so after my errands ill get something in. Not sure if ill do step moves or cardio hits today. Humm. I don't think ill lift today I did that Sunday. I may do total body lift tomorrow. Maybe pyramids or something.
 
Good morning, ladies! I did Slide & Glide yesterday evening (skipped the push ups section). It felt good to be doing a Cathe workout again! I'm getting hyped up to ride the XTrain!
Renee: I agree with Cathy - get to a Dr.! & go easy on yourself. Sometimes when we don't feel well we are crabbier than usual, plus really should NOT work out. Like Cathy said, IF you were too harsh, you can apologize later & tell him you didn't feel well. However, maybe he needed to hear what you had to say! Tough love, ya know?
Cathy: Are you sleeping any better? How's PT going? Has she upped your exercise intensity at all?
Caitlin: Hope your back has mended by now!
I went to the chiropractor yesterday, & she really worked on the tennis elbow tendon. Whew! Had to clamp down on my lips big-time so I wouldn't cry out! BUT, it feels a whole bunch better today! I go to the acupuncturist on Friday again, & back to the chiro on Monday. She is determined to get this tennis elbow gone!

Went for a 30 min. walk with the dogs out back to see what the fire had done & 30 min. of Physio Stretches too!

JANE I'm glad ur chiropractor is working on tje elbow! It sounds loke she actually cares. Haed to find for sure. So do u think the acupuncture is doing any good?
You are right about my DS I have been letting things go. If I everr say anything he'd just not listen anyway. When he was 18 he thought he knew it all at same time messing his brain up with substances. He was so smart at one time. We had hoped he had gotten better after rehab for 6 months but he came home he did so good but he moved out. Because I have rulez I'm sure. And got back in same crowd he is 22 now and I have bit my tongue so for three yrs almost I've been letting him learn. He would say but I'm 22 I should be able to be treated not like a kid blah blah but at same time he'd say I'm ONLY 22 and my friends don't have as much responsibility as me" lol well I just let it go and he got in trouble again And after not coming around us but every so often he wants help. When he came over he said r u mad... I just didn't look at him and said well I'm not happy. Then I sent him email. But it was basically telling him I'm not gonna have anything to do with helping him at all. I know what he's doing and he is messing up his life again amd his silly high friends wont help him either. And I said I have low tolerance for anyone who chooses to through a perfectly wonderful life that God gave them away. I mean come on! People are out there dying from cancer praying for one more day and these people like him are putting things in there body that is toxic and can kill him any minute. I also said I feel sorry for him n his friends because there losing track of days and family ome day they will look back and they wont remember half of the memories they could have had.
Well anyhow I did cardio hit power max today. It is fun simple and sweaty and I like that type of workouts I'm old school I supose.

Good morning, ladies! I did part of Turbo Barre yesterday evening. I am SO out of shape! LOL :eek: I got to the side leg lifts & quit, but then I did the Ab part, so about an hour, I guess. I'm enjoying all the pictures & short video clips that Cathe is posting on FB. I hope against hope that I'll be in better shape by the time XTrain gets in my hot little hands! LOL:p
Cathy: Did you ever learn why your power went out? Great job on the walk & stretches. Was the fire damage pretty bad?
Renee: First off, HUGS! Secondly, I applaud your tough love stance regarding your son. I know it kills you inside, but it's what he needs. My youngest son started smoking & drinking when he was 12 (he chose to live with his father after our divorce) - like you, I had too many rules! Well, he's 29 now, & he's been sober for 5 years & hasn't smoked for 2 years. He went to Paris earlier this year with friends he met in AA. So, there is hope!!! I know it's hard, but you can't enable them! Great job on your workout! I like old school, too. I like the old step routines...

nice job Jane! on part of Turbo Barre! I cant seem to get into that one much, i dont know y. I think Turbo barre is hard lol maybe that is why i dont do it often lol.
I am loveing the pics of Xtrain but it is making me want them now!!

I think if we keep trying we will get in shape for xtrain, and if not xtrain will get us bettter.. I mean even if it may be more advanced than me i just do what i can, and i think well i have something to work up to.. It seems however i have a lot of cathe workouts like that lol i dont think i can say mastered any really except the begginer ones..
I see people talking about matching Cathe or the new ones even talking about using as many riseres and blah blah blah, and if they cant they are disappointed. But Cathe has been like this for years. So i dont expect to be up there with her, well one day maybe i will but im not even trying to .. I like to hear what she is working with cause i knwo if she does a 20 ill do a 15 if she is doing 12 i do 10 then i may have to go down to 8. But i do flys with 15 pounds and im ok with that.. I also wont do as many risers as cathe unless i have doen the reutine a lot. like The begginer ones i go higher of course.. but on say ttm if she used three i use two if she usees foru i use three. Until i KNOW i got it .. and i think it may be awhile or never. Im fine wiht it. I just wish to lose this fat belly and body it is irritating me!! lol

Cathy: You guys are going threw alot of mishaps with poser and fire and all.. I hope they stop soon. lol sounds like somehthing everyday not a dual day there huh? lol That is wonderful you are walking! I bet you are feeling bertter

Wow Jane I guess we all go through it with the kids, im not glad you went through it but i feel gald you know where im coming from because it sure does hurt. I feel like he is walking all over my heart. I think they dont even think of there mom aftera sertain age of something. I bet my face dont cross his mind at all.. Its just sad how they dont care of anything but there next party. -Im glad your son is better! that is an Awesome praise report!

Not sure what to do today i have gotten off my wagon i guess this week.. I have not felt like doing anything but at same time i feel like crud not doing it.. i am hurting in my back but i know mine is from non activity i think.. it feels stiff, i cant hardly move after i been sitting. in gonna pry myself out of the chair now lol.

I haven't slept since Mon. night:( Yesterday was House Max & today was the doctor & he has put me on presricption painkiller We'll see if this works!

Jane, we only have to replace fence posts out back, so everything turned out fine & it looks as if no one lost their homes thankfully!

Caitlin, how are you doing & how's your back?

Looks like no workout today & have already started some House Max!

Hello ladies! Hope you're having a good weekend! Thursday evening I did Yoga Relax. Friday, I didn't do anything. :p I decided that the acupuncture treatment was a good excuse to just rest. Yesterday, I did Athletic Training, but on a lower step & with 3 pound weights. Had to take Missy to the vet for a check up on her tooth extraction surgery, so I skipped Clean Max. :p She's doing great, BTW. The vet was pleased. :D
Renee: Yep, I think you're exactly right! & that's what I love about Cathe's workouts. There's ALWAYS room to get better & stronger! Sorry that your computer is still acting up - geez, that is SO frustrating! Yes, Cathy & I do know where you're coming from with your son. You hang in there! Time either wises them up or not, & there's not much we can do but be a good example for them.
Cathy: Oh, I'm so relieved that you didn't have much damage from the fire! I'm also relieved that the Dr. put you on a prescription pain killer. Taking too many OTC's can be hard on the liver, plus maybe, just maybe, it will help you sleep! I would have keeled over by now if I were you! There's no way I could function on no sleep!!!
Caitlin: Hope your back has eased up & that the weather is much more conducive to working out!

I did css yesterday and a yoga for 20 minutes from essential yoga. Today I just walk/ jog for 3 miles. Ate tons of salad. I still have a small headache. I hate that. Got a physical coming up soon.. I'm going to find out what is going on.
 
Good morning, ladies! I did the 1st 6 intervals of AfterBurn yesterday. I wanted to go on, but I just couldn't...:confused: I was too tired & too sore. Eventually, these perpetual DOMS will go away. It's so hard to be off for a month & then try to come back, because with fibromyalgia, DOMS don't just last 2 or 3 days - they last 2 or 3 weeks. & when you've been off for a month, everything gives you DOMS! :rolleyes: Anyway... went to the chiropractor again this morning. She's trying something new for my low back to try to get that working again, & she worked on the tennis elbow again. I'm almost afraid to say it, but when she was working on it today, it didn't hurt as bad! Maybe, maybe, it's starting to improve! :D
Renee: I'm glad to hear that you're getting a physical soon. Don't forget to write all these symptoms down & take your notes with you to the Dr. I always think that I'll remember, & then I get into her office & promptly forget everything I wanted to tell her!
Cathy: I was just re-reading your post - YOU won't be doing any of that fence post replacement, will you????? YIKES! I sure hope you've been able to get some sleep over the weekend!
Caitlin: How goes it? Yes, I know that's bad grammar... LOL Hope you're doing better!

Jane that is wonderful about the AT I'm always afraid to do that one for some reason! Lol I do it but not often. U said first six so hkw long is that premix? I can imagine the DOmS! When I do that one yeah I have it in legs pretty good.
Cathy how are the pain killers doing? And what about sleep? Oh boy I got sleep last night I'm so happy about it. I couldn't believe it. So yesterday all I did was walk and jog three miles. May do rest day or push pull not sure yet.

Oh what do u all think...will they start filming again this week or do u think next week?
 
Thanks, Renee! I actually didn't do a premix, I just stopped after the 6th interval. There's a total of 10. The premixes for that one are either intervals 1-5, 6-10 or single sets. Each interval is repeated once, & that's what got me. I should have been smart & done the premix of single sets. That second set always slays me. I can get through the first one. :p
I checked the short video clip that Cathe did on the 10th. She said in it that they were taking a week off, so I think they'll be back at it some time this week. Exciting! I know one thing, I won't be doing any air jacks. Those things jam up my lower spine big time. No way I'm undoing what the chirpractor's been doing for me!
