OMG! I just got a raise!!!!

Can you believe it?!?!? My boss just told me they put through a TEN PERCENT raise for me!! ME: the girl who despises her job more than ANYTHING and thinks about quitting every single second of every day. ME!

I must be doing somethin' right....

Not to mention in today's economy it'll be a tremendous help!

Congrats and WAY TO GO!!! Doesn't it make you feel wonderful!!! I just got a nice raise, too. Like you, I'm not thrilled with my job, and I was concerned that I was not being fully appreciated. Then I got the raise. Makes the day-to-day tedium a little easier to deal with! I'm so happy for you - you've had some rough times - you so totally deserve it!

Yeah it is, but considering what I was making before the raise, I probably still make pennies compared to what the rest of you make.... x(

But anyway, no more negativity on my part. A raise is a raise, right? At least now I'll be able to buy gas AND food. Phew. It's been tough choosing between a.) walking to work and b.)eating my cat's food....
