older step videos vs newer ones

How do some of you compare the older workouts (Power Max, Step Works, Body Max1) to the newer ones? I tend to find that they're actually more challenging and that the newer step workouts have gotten easier - but am curious whether others find the same. I'm especially wondering whether the Low Impact series (Low Max, Circuit Low, 4Day low impact step segment) seem as challenging to you as the earlier workouts. Thanks.

hi,yes i find that the older dvds are more challenging,i have low max and imax and i find this more complete, for the other workout i have 4days split but the only one i do is kickbox and bootcamp, because the high impact step and the lower impact step for me is too easy...

okay, so I guess it's not just me, though that's kind of disappointing, as I sort of always felt that the workouts would progress over time. I get the sense that, like the Firm, Cathe workouts have gotten a bit easier to accommodate a wider public. That said, I know that I can't even begin to do most of the weight workouts, so I will continue to buy those, but it would be great to know if any of the step or kickbox workouts that were created after Imax2 and Bodymax1 are as good. (To me, all the kickbox workouts so far have seemed way too easy.)

I just tried the step workouts from 4 D split for the first time yesterday. Im usually very good at picking up choreography, but I couldnt get some of the moves in these workouts to save my life! I just sort of stood there and didnt get much accomplished! Especially in the high intensity step. I hope the next time goes a little better! She didnt break moves down like she usually does. Especially during some of the blasts.
