I'm going to stop getting upset though, because this forum just goes to show you that for every evil person, there are countless absolutely wonderful ones!!

Funny you mention that, Nancy, because when I first wrote my own reply to Donna right after this happened (see above), I included a sentence suggesting that Donna give us her e-mail address.
And then about 20 minutes later I came back to the computer and edited my post to erase that sentence, because from the minute I posted my reply it nagged at me -- I felt, upon reflection, that it just wasn't right or appropriate. I still think that. I believe that for a crowd of us to barrage her with e-mails would be beneath us and really sort of like stooping to her level. And I don't think it would accomplish what we'd hope to accomplish, which would be to shame or embarrass her and to effect some change in her beliefs and attitude. Sadly, I really don't believe we could do that. And worst case, we might give her fuel to believe that if Donna's friends were indignant and angry she was somehow justified in having blasted Donna.
Having said all that, I still think that sending her a choice chunk of my best verbiage is a great fantasy!

When I first read this thread, I didn't understand what the flowers were for. When I read the link to your original message I knew right away when you mentioned racism and you went on to say she didn't know much about you, what had happened.
I have been there. Being the kind hearted person that you are, you reached out and helped someone. Be proud of that. She is obviously very ignorant. I am sure it hurt very much, but try to move on. Say a prayer for her. And let her go. You know what you have done for her, she knows what you have done for her and God knows.
Unfortunately, in this year of 2003, we still have those people who are very small minded. Although I haven't met you in person, I know you are BEAUTIFUL person inside and out. I admire you so much for your commitment to health and fitness. And when I need a little pick-me-up, I think about you and how far you have come.
Try and let it go my sistah. Oh yes, I will be PMing you to get some tips on diet

Thank you Kathy and Wanda for bringing these posts to my attention. I'm embarrassed to say that I have been so busy working on the new videos that I hardly have a chance to get on the forums much at all other than for quick glances at a time.
I must say that the original post to Donna simply sickened me. I was so disturbed by its ugliness and ignorance. The magnitude of love, support, and generosity exuded here on the forums just fills my heart with great emotion. You are all very special, kind hearted friends. Thank you for continuously creating such caring and supportive environment for all. I am proud to know each and every one of you!!!!!

I usually don't get involved in these types of emails but I am with Cathe in that the response to Donna (from the person she was "mentoring") absolutely SICKENED me. It just angers me beyond belief that there are still people out there who are so ignorant. I am white, and could care less what color or nationality any of you are; this forum is and has been such a good inspiration for me, and reading Donna's posts are not only funny, but SO inspirational!! Donna i'm so sorry you had to endure such ugly ignorance. That woman does not even warrant the time it would take for you to ever reply to her and I hope that you don't waste too many feelings or emotions on her and her stupidity at all.
