you know what I found? Body Max! What a blast from the past! A reminder of the days when I lived in southern VA & could actually afford a house big enough for some exercise equipment.....a reminder of the days when Cathe had short hair :) .......a reminder of the days when I actually thought I could self motivate myself at home (sorry guys, when I have to choose between the couch & the weight bench the couch wins every time, unless I'm looking for a place to hang my wet delicates :7 )........a reminder of the days when I first learned that Crazy Eights is more than just a card game......ah the memories!

Ha! Too cute! Aren't you glad those are memories and Hard Core is here to get you off that couch!?!? :7

Girl I don't have ANY HC videos yet--still reading reviews & trying to decide. IMAX3 is definitely on my list. Still considering Stretch Max & POSSIBLY Low Max, but since I rely on Cathe for the bulk of my cardio workouts I might take a pass since I really look for the high intensity stuff.

All weight training is done at the gym. It's the only way I can motivate myself.

That was one of the first videos of Cathe's that I ever bought. I got so frustrated with trying to learn the choreography (reminds me of another thread out there right now!), that I think I donated it to Goodwill!!!! Well, last year or so, whenever I bought the blast series and a few others, I got a free video and chose Body Max!!!!! That was before I had a DVD player in my exercise room. Since I have it again, the choreography is no problem and it is really a great workout!!!!

Oh my goodness girl. Get busy and order some! They are absolutely wonderful! Don't let LowMax fool you into thinking it's a whimpy workout. I am an advanced (not to brag) exerciser and it is awesome! This new series is full of such a variety of workouts it will keep one busy for a long time. Glad to hear IMax3 is on your list. A must-have! Let us know what you decide.

Crazy Eights is more than a card game? Tell me, tell me, what do I not know about? Is there more?

>Okay Max, inquiring minds want know: Did you ever find your

HAHAHA!! I was thinking the same thing, Gayle.

Bodymax was one of my more "recent" purchases. Since joining this forum and hearing how great "this and that" workout is, I've worked my way backwards with Cathe's DVD's.

NO! I invested in a reconditioned VCR/DVD combo from overstock.com. And when the cleaning lady came yesterday I hid ALL my remotes! :p

Crazy Eights are bicep curls w/three ranges, so you do one set of eight from bottom to midway, one set of eight from midway to top, then one set of eight full range. I do something similar at the gym called 21s (yet another card game reference LOL) w/cables. But I remember REALLY feeling the pain w/those Crazy Eights!

Crazy Eights are bicep curls where you do a set of 8 curls in the lower half of the curl, followed by eight in the upper half, then 8 full range curls. They're brutal!

Nah. I don't have any equipment at home anymore other than a step, a mat & a med ball. Everything else is at the gym.
