Ohhh...DH is in TROUBLE!!!

Ok...Got off the phone with a guy a little bit ago asking if Jason (DH) was home...Told him "no, what can I do for you"...

"Was wondering when he was going to come pick up the car"...

"Oh, he bought a car?"

"Oh, yea...He bought Dodge Dart" (old muscle car)...

Gave him Jason's cell phone # and let him go...Called Jason to say "hi"...He needed to get the other line on his cell (wonder who it was???)...Asked him "Oh, is it the guy you bought the car from??"...I think I could have knocked him over with a feather over the phone after that!!! He started stuttering and "Honey, I was going to tell you"...Oh, can't wait 'till he gets home...

MJ

By the way, he about flipped a lid then I bought 2 series of Cathe's last week...I know which car this is, and I know how MUCH it was....GRRRRR...I'm getting the flooring for the workout room AND a treadmill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG. I would be absolutely livid. That is deceit by omission and I would seriously need to be pinned down the next time I saw DH. We would never have kids again because I would hang from a noose by his balls. You don't ever make big purchases without making them together.

Missy

MJ...I can feel your pain. After we had discussed not getting a tractor til DH got some things done around here...he went behind my back and got one because it was such a great deal??? WTF??? It stays in someone else yard until DH gets the things I want done here....I could be about 90 by then...x( ....:)...Carole

> }( YOU GO GIRL!!!! Fair is Fair! and ream his ass good
>when he gets home;-)

Ditto! }(

You are allowed to buy Cathe workouts for life... whenever you feel like it...from now on!

You just messed up his surprise Christmas present for you! LOL
At least that’s what I would say if I were him. LOL

Well...The car's home...My treadmill's on the way...and HE has to put the darn thing together!

I still can't believe he bought this thing...Guess I'd rather have him home putzing in the shop all winter than running off on snowmobile and fishing trips, huh (NO, I didn't tell HIM that!!)...

What ticks me off the most is that we had said we were going to put that money on the home equity loan...Our goal is to have that paid off by the middle of next year...What do you do sometimes, huh???

Thanks for letting me be biatchy!
MJ

Oh...every man needs this!!! DH tells me when he is buying stuff...mostly b/c he needs my signature but I NEVER EVER spend the money that he spends. And he keeps losing money b/c instead of keeping something...a year later he sells it!x( I don't get them at all.
Keep us posted...I bet your DH knows that he is in trouble!!!!!
Lori:)

Why is it that all of men't toys are so expensive??? :p Everything that DH wants is four digits or more, what I want is no more than 2!

My dh gave up on me.
I buy stuff and bring them home all the time.
I bought my last 3 cars that way.
It was look what i bought.
I just bought my daughter a new honda.
She needed a good safe car. My grandson is in there.
I got out of schooling . She got grants. So the 20 grand i was supposed to blow , i got her a car.
So now i have a car payment. And i haven't even driven it.
I work . I will buy what i want. I pay for it.

After reading these posts I realize even more what a great husband I have. He works really hard while I work part time. And that's part time from home most of the time, mind you! When he wants something big (last thing was a Kawasaki Mean Streak) after he gets my approval (which is just a courtesy as far as I'm concerned) he shops around for months for the best deal, saves most of the money, if not all, for the purchase and if he's unable to save enough before he buys it, then pays off the debt in record time!

Then he tells me to buy something expensive that I want. I tell him that's OK because I spend money here, there and everywhere on small things all the time. I have all of Cathe's workouts and all the equipment I need for them. And he tends to the children when I'm out running for miles and miles with my friend. He gets his runs in at night after work then helps my Asperger's Syndrome kid with his algebra homework sometimes until 8:30 or 9:00 pm.

I am so glad I read these posts because I think I tend to take him for granted. I'm going to make doubly sure I let him know how special he is when I see him after he gets home from work today!

Ditto Elaine! My DH is the same exact way. ;-) He's frugal with himself, but likes to make sure I have what I want. :) He's too sweet.

It's our first anniversary this weekend too. :)
