I see no problem with this. It is not needed, there are other ways to cook the food with out the danger. As far as those who argue about the taste changing. Not that this makes it any better, but when McDonalds was forced to stop using Beef Tallow to cook the fries in, the just added "flavor" so the taste wouldn't change. Now there can also be the argument that the artifical flavors they use to do this to food is not good. But the government as of now has deemed it safe. So if the taste changes that much by using a different oil, I'm sure this will be the solution. On a side note though, we all know that eating processed foods are not good for you. So I'm thinking that if a person is not bothered by this, they probably aren't bothered by trans fat or the chemicals to make artifical flavors. And as we all know, as a treat once and a while, having that hamburger, fries, or pastry isn't going to kill you. What I'm sick of is people not taking responsibility for their own food choices, then blaming the fastfood or food industry for it.
