Nutri Bullet? - does anybody own one?

Hello Cathletes, just wondering if anybody here owns a Nutri Bullet? If you do, tell me what you think of it? I'm considering purchasing one at Target in an effort to really improve my diet. So I wanted to do something different and thought of this Nutri Bullet. Well, let me know what you think. Thanks everyone!!

Own it - LOVE it!!!! I've made countless fruit/veggie drinks with it. This morning, as a matter of fact - a small bunch of strawberries (about 6-7), one pink grapefruit (just the rind cut off and then cut into chunks), a pinch of dried ginger, some agave nectar and water. Blend away. Holy crap is it good!!!!

The thing blends beautifully. I frequently add a handful of spinach to whatever I'm blending and everything is perfectly smooth and incorporated in a matter of seconds. The cups have lids, so I can take them with me and/or plan ahead. I put the berries and grapefruit in the container last night, capped it and put it in the fridge. This morning I tossed in the ginger, agave and water (15 seconds), blended that baby up (30-40 seconds). Done!

I'm actually thinking of giving this as a gift this year. Get it!!!

I purchased one at Bed, Bath and Beyond recently. I had to return it because it was too difficult for me to turn it on and off. (I type all day so my hands give me a lot of trouble.) Also, the lids that came with the machine didn't fit the cups that came with the set. It is a great machine for the cost.

Hi NY25, thank you so much for your info. Your input was extremely helpful. I can't wait to start making some of those healthy drinks. Thank you very, very much.

Thanks Melagras, I am thinking of buying one at either Bed, Bath & Beyond or Target, so that I can return it also - just in case. I read somewhere (don't remember where) not to buy it through their website - customer service is really bad. Thanks for you input, I appreciate it.

I bought one at Target and really like it. It makes a great smoothie. Spinach, cucumber, celery, apple/pear and you can even add some nuts plus a liquid. The caps only cover the large cup not the 2 smaller ones which I think is a little strange. The Bullet you buy in the stores is about $20 cheaper and does not come with the larger book only the smaller one with some good smoothie recipes. To turn it on and off just makes sure it is attached correctly--it kind of snaps into place-- and you push down.

I just bought one too and really like it. Just starting to figure it out. The smoothies I have made were pretty good. Starting to experiement with the ingredients. Does anyone have some good recipes for it?

I ran across something called a ninja at a discount warehouse (BJ) and it is similar and very convenient. My favorite so far is kale and a pear. Just stuff it with Kale and a pear and add a little water. It is so good!
