The pinky and ring finger of my left hand have been sort of numb for about a week. I googled it (of course) and found that this can be caused by putting weight on your elbow. I often rest my head on that hand, with elbow on my desk, so that sounds like a reasonable explanation.
However, the solutions I've found don't seem to be helping. I'm obviously trying not to lean on my elbow anymore. I found some stretches online that are supposed to help - moving wrist with arm outstretched.
Has anyone had this happen to them and found a way to get rid of it? It's hard not to think about it and it was really concerning me while I was lifting. I don't think it affects my grip but it certainly makes me feel insecure about holding a heavy weight above my face
