Newbie Here - Just wanted to say hello!

Welcome & way to go with IMAX 2. That's one of my favorites!!! Like you said, just keep at it & it will become second nature.
That New Years vacation sounds like so much fun. Good luck with your WO's & nice to meet you.

Wow, ladies, what a wonderful welcome you've all sent my way! Happy to be here, and... a little sore from my first workout last night :p !

Since I decided to buy a new step, I went with a bundled-package that included "Imax-2", "I-max3" & "Step Jump & Pump", and then I also got "Butts & Guts" 'cause that's where I need the most work! I was looking hard at the Cardio Fusion, too, so that will probably be my next purchase down the road...

It took me about 90 minutes to do the 55-min Imax-2 last night! I kept having to restart the intervals 'cause I wasn't getting them down by the 6th try - lol! I should have it down after 2-3 more times through.

I was hoping for a little less high-impact to start with (and as little upper-body as possible since my shoulder is still all jacked up!), so any recommendations on which one to tackle next??

Thanks, girls!

Welcome, TrekChick! Low Max is low impact but still a very good workout. Do you like kickboxing? Kick/Crunch/Punch is good and also comes with Legs and Glutes (a weight workout). KickMax is good and comes with very good leg conditioning drills.

Do you have a trainer for a bike without knobbies? (Smooth bead makes it much more bearable noise-wise) Spinervals are good, and somebody above mentioned Cardio Coach, which is excellent for any type of cardio you have access to.

WOW - I cant beleive your first Cathe was IMAX2 - you are a brave soul... LOL... Great Job. After another time or two you will get those combos down.

I do have a trainer for my roadie bike, and about 6 of the Spinervals DVDs. I kind of got burned out on them last year though, so I thought I'd try something different for this fall/winter.

Okay, I did the I-max 3 tonight, and I think that either: a) it's easier than I-max 2, or b) I didn't work as hard at it this time :D I actually "got" a couple of the step sequences down tonight, though, but it still took me close to 90 minutes to get through the workout with all the rewinding I did. I guess I'm hooked already, 'cause I'm looking forward to trying out my next new workout already!
