New Video Questions

1. Do any of these tapes take up a lot of space?
2. Is Imax II as hard as Imax I? (Everyone has said it's more fun, but I am just asking about intensity here)
3. Which is tougher PLB or CTX LL
4. What is the heaviest weight Cathe uses for upperbody in Muscle Endurance? Is it more of a weight load than that used in PH?
5. Can you tell how bad I am jonesin' for my DVDs!?!

1. No, none of the workouts take up any more space than any of Cathe's others. :) I have a small workout space and they work for me. BootCamp just needs a little pre-planning for me, I sort of set up stations (weights/step stool/area for abs)

2. Imax II: more fun, more intense! Have oxygen ready!

3. CTX LL is still "meaner" to me, it's longer and the weight load is consistent.
PLB is mean in it's own way, but the weight variations make it less mean than LL. (to me!)

4. Don't have my log handy, but if I recall correctly, I'm going to say maybe 15#db possibly 20#db is the heaviest she went in dumbbells and maybe 40#bb. I really don't recall clearly enough right now. And I think she sort of stayed close to the weights she used in PH. I know I stay pretty close to her for this one. There are so many repeats of leg presses that a 10#plate feels really heavy by that 3rd set of them!

5. And you are gonna LOVE this series! It is really fun and I love the new twists that are added and just a little different from other workouts.

But man, her ab work on this series leaves me in the dust! I was JUST getting through the traditional stuff she use to do, now I'm having to try this new stuff and my abs are just NOT cooperating!
When I get to "the other side" I may have to slap the person that invented planks!

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON Jan-08-03 AT 09:19AM (Est)[/font][p]I agree with Donna that Leaner Legs is tougher than PLB. The floorwork in PLB kills me, though. And I also agree about the ab/core work - very challenging!!

So far, I think Imax 2 is more intense but I've only done it twice and the first time didn't count because my kids were driving me crazy and my baby woke up in the middle (my videos had just arrived and I HAD to try one out even if the timing was terrible).

You will definitely love this series!

I think the intensity is very similar to IMAX#1. The choregraphy is easy to get. The blasts are a lot fun but there are a couple that are pretty tough!
I think LL is probably tougher,there aren't as many low ends in PLB! The floor work with the stability ball is ouchie(in a good way!)
In Muscle End. Cathe uses anywhere from 8-20 pound dumbells and her max weight with her bar is 40. I hope your DVD's get to you soon! Susan
