I am new to the Cathe forum but I have heard all about her video's. I was told by one of my friend's in her video's that I should order the Hardcore series. I jumped right in and ordered the whole thing.:) My question is, it seems like it is going to be awhile before they are ready to be shipped. Should I try one of her other DVD's and if so which one?
Thanks for the help!

Welcome!! It really depends on your fitness level. Also are you interested in cardio or weights...or both??? If you want to try another series CTX,BodyBlast and The Intensity series are also very good...:)...Carole

Are you familiar with Cathe's choreography at all? If you're totally new to Cathe or step entirely, you may want to try some of her earlier tapes first such as Step Heat or the Wedding Video. CTX has some great workouts, but I would only suggest going with CTX if you already have step experience.

You're going to LOVE Cathe!

Hi, I also strongly recommend CTX and I didn't think the Step choreography was at all difficult to learn in CTX. Go for it.:D

Welcome Marina81,

Cathe has put out some great workouts. If you give a bit more information about what you are looking for, I'm sure many people can help you find something that you would enjoy.

I am interested in both. I am a part-time cycling instructor and have a personal trainer (who tells me I am strong). So I do both the aerobic and weight training.

for weight training recommend the pyramids dvd 3 of the intensity series and ME .for cardio i recommend imax 2 and SPK.Have fun.:) :) :)

Hi again Marina81,

If you want both cardio and strength, here are some thoughts I agree with the Intensity series, CTX series or Body Blast series.

Intensity Series is a great collection if you are up for it. I really enjoyed the challenge of this series.

Body Blast is fun, fun, fun. I thought the intensity was more moderate in relation to the Intensity series.

CTX has shorter cardio segments but they pack a punch. The strength work is focused on one body part per day.

If you only want to invest in a single DVD here are two options:

Terminator has three compilation workouts from the workouts of the intensity series. These can be grueling.

Timesaver DVD has 5 short workouts that are made from segments of the Bodyblast series. Similar in style to CTX. This would be more fun than a total wipeout. However, I found these useful during the holidays when time is scarce or when I need a bit of a break.

Thanks for all the help:7! I will be looking at a few more DVD's you all recommended to get started before the hardcore comes in. I sounds like I could use the time to get familiar with the workouts!

Thanks Again, Marina81
