New to Cathe

Hi I am new to Cathe. I am a male and have been working out at a local gym for several years now. I have been thinking about working out at home and did some research and Cathe seems to be the best. I like how she mixes strength and Cardio together. I have only seen her on Fit TV and have recorded a few shows. I would like to get her most recent DVD's (in the last 5 years). Could someone tell me which one's they would be. When she puts out her monthly rotation list I want to make sure I have what she list. I also need to know what equipment I need to purchase. I am a believer in functional fitness and I notice she mentions that. thanks so much

Cathe has so many dvd's that are excellent. Last 5 years though I think would be Slow and Heavy Series, Ryhthmic step which includes older ones that are really good IMHO, Maximum Intensity Cardio & Interval Max, Power Hour which is endurance witch includes Maximum Intensity Strength & BodyMax, THen there is the Intensity Series, & Body Blast series,I think Cross train Express & Cardio Kicks with Circuit Max were created in 2000. then there is the newest set out that has High Step Training Advanced, High Step Circuit, & Basic Step with Body Fusion and strength add ons. I tink I covered all of them.

First of all, Welcome. Why don't you try the bootcamp/ ME dvd ?. I think it is great for a male.In the bootcamp workout there are two men doing the workout. Hope this helps.

I agree with Stayfit. You may also want to check out High Step Training advanced. It's her latest. I really didn't think I would get into this workout, but I have grown to love it. The weight work is pretty intense.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Slow & Heavy series as a male. I know the S&H bis'& tri's kicked my butt this morning. It's pretty tough! I was just going to start a thread about it.
