New to Cathe - Need Suggestions

Hello,

I'm new to Cathe and fell in love with her "Basic Step/Body Fusion" DVD.

I have just discovered Fit TV and I also enjoyed Kick, Punch and Crunch, although that was MUCH tougher than I thought it would. Some of the "boot camp" workouts are totally intimidating to me.

I have done the FIRM for the last six months and have lost 16 pounds and several inches. Here is my question:

I want to try some other Cathe workouts but I don't know where to begin; there are so many. I am leaning toward purchasing Time Saver, can anyone provide feedback on this DVD and any other "beginner-friendly" videos?

Thanks in advance!

Bethanne :)

RE: New to Cathe - Need Suggestions (Try Power Hour Plus)

I'd suggest getting the Power Hour + DVD. It has 3 workouts, all classics, and you can program them together to mix and match the workouts. No matter how tough the workouts seem, you can do them, and should start with light weights to get the form down correctly then move on up when you are ready. Any of those 3 workouts will do wonders for you. The two Pyramids, Upper and Lower Body, are on the same DVD and that you can make a kicker workout, no matter how light your weights. You'll find that after a few months of Cathe, the Firm will be for your lazy/sick days.
Congrats on the weight loss. Keep in mind that if you keep upping your weights you may not lose any more pounds, but you will get some serious definition and your clothes will fit better and you won't care that the scale stays the same.

RE: New to Cathe - Need Suggestions (Try Power Hour Plus)

Hi Bethanne,

I am new to Cathe too, and my first purchase was Timesaver. I really love that you can mix and match the workouts and that they are a bit shorter which is perfect for when you don't have a full hour to spare. I have been Firming a about 1 1/2 yrs and find Cathe to be quite challenging. I love it, though! There is a thread on the "Ask Cathe" board where she announced that she is going to begin filming for a new workout series! I'm so excited! I will definitely have to look into purchasing some of these. I will say that I am seeing results incorporating Cathe into my routine. I have lost some in my hips and thighs and I am seeing more muscle definition. No matter which Cathe you decide to purchase, I don't you can go wrong.

:) :)
