Catching up
The craft fair in review: we made about 135 dollars. It was an experience. I discovered that I do a better muffin than a chocolate. I also discovered that having less items to choose from would have been better for people. And, I think I needed a bigger sign. However, that said I think it went well. I would do this again next year. I think I like selling artwork better, but people buy cookies faster than they buy art.
On Saturday I went to my Harry Potter club mtg/party. I did ok. I had two smallish slices of pizza and one small piece of apple pie. I discovered, that even though I don’t have celiacs (was tested negative.) I really can’t do the gluten. All day yesterday I felt like I was in some sort of coma. I was grumpy, tired, felt awful, had a headache that just wouldn’t go away. I went to bed at 7 pm. I woke up this morning at 8 am. I still feel tired. I look like I was a raccoon, black circles. I’m staying home from work.
I’m watching myself closely. For carbs I’m sticking to whole fruits and gf cereals (gf is gluten free btw.). Breakfast was gluten free millet and coconut milk. The So Delicious unsweetened coconut milk is really low in carbs and fat. I also had two scrambled eggs. For lunch, I had a cup of broccoli slaw with coconut fat, 2 thin slices of low sodium ham, a small box of black berries, and a banana. Not really low carb but not really high carb either. I try to stick to my planned diet but I do vary from it, mostly its just guidelines.
