Hi there. I just bought my first set of workouts. I bought slow and heavy. I've been working out for years just wanted a change and heard such good things about Cathe. Anyway, I've got the option to T-Vo other workouts of hers and wanted to know, can I just do slow and heavy for a month or so along with HIIT cardio on oposite days or do I need to incorporate other videos right away?

Thanks!

I say go ahead and do S/H for a month and do your research during that month for your next purchases. If you like 3-part split-set training, consider getting the Gym Styles (Cathe's 2005 release) or Pure Strength (from the late '90's). If you want 2-part split-set training get the Pyramid Upper/Lower Body DVD from the Intensity Series, and if you want total body strength training consider "Muscle Max" (also from the 2005 Hardcore releases), the Power Hour / Maximum Intensity Strength / Body Max DVD (three workouts; not bad at half the price), the Push-Pull / Supersets DVD from the Body Blast series, or . . . well, that oughtta give you a good start.

PS welcome aboard!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I just got the DVD's today and am starting tomorrow morning. I doubt this workout is going to allow me to deal with 2 year old twins at the same time so I guess I'll be waking up EARLY to do them!

Hi Randi,

I just wanted to say welcome from another Arizonian (I live in Safford) and mother of a 2 year old (not twins though:) You're going to love Cathe's workouts. I've been doing them for 11 years now and nothing else compares. Be sure to check back and let us know how you like them.:)

Hi Randi,
Welcome from another twin mum. I've been doing Cathe workouts ever since my twins were born and they have been a life saver for me. I used to be a runner, but being unable to leave the house to run, I began doing Cathe while the boys took their naps.

Now they are five years old, and they are used to my exercising for an hour. They will watch TV or even just play quietly for an hour. You'll see it does get easier. Welcome!

Linda

Hi just wanted to say welcome too. I have a four year old and a two and a half year old, and they are used to me exercising for an hour a day now. They play quietly or join in sometimes even, which can be quite a laugh.

Good luck

Amron
