New fashion trend that I hate

I'm sorry if any of you have these, but I think they're the dumbest things since gauchos. The jeans with the folded up cuffs. You know...where the bottom of the jeans are turned inside out and the cuff is really long. Who thought of THAT one? Bleah!

>>Who thought of THAT one? Bleah!

People who are too lazy to get their pants hemmed! :)

I can't stand that look either. If I accidentally get pants that are too long, I either hem them or wear them with heels.

I'm with you Donna! Although some of the cute gals here could probably pull it off. I don't like the yellow, dirty jean look either. I don't mind the slightly faded look. I have a pair of those myself. :p

I admit that I have a couple pairs of them. I plan of bringing them with me on the Cathe road trip too. At least one pair.:)

Aren't those "SO 5 minutes ago" already :p

I don't like them either. Actually -- I don't care for the whole capri invasion. I can't seem to get a normal-length pair of pants anywhere!

This is coming from someone who avoided capris at all costs for YEARS!! I absolutely vowed I would never be caught dead in a pair.

And then... I tried on a pair at "White House/Black Market". They are white, slim to the leg, and have a little slit up both sides of the bottom of the pant. I put them with a pair of strappy heels and they really looked cute! I stood in the dressing room mirror in shock! So, I actually bought the things!

And... I purchased a pair of the jean capris with the long cuffs. They are really cute too. They have little tiny rhinestones that sparkle on the back pockets. I think what I've discovered is that it's all about the shoes you wear and how your exposed ankles/feet look. I wear an anklet and toe ring and make sure my toenails are polished. Strappy shoes with an ankle strap seem to look the best with them. It's a cute, cute look! :)

I see them a lot on teens and think they look cute. Don't think that I could pull it off.

Donna, you are not alone. Many people cannot stand the jeans with the cuff thing. Although I did see Kira Sedgewick (sp?) with a pair with a really cute printed black top and black boots. She looked great. This is a trend that will be over soon.

Okay, Mogambo -- this totally cracked me up!

I don't think the "What Not to Wear" girls like the capris look -- although they prefer them to shorts. Ah...they have made me see the light! I will never wear tapered pants again!

Gee, I thought maybe some fashion guru was out searching the area for ideas and saw me out with my dog in the morning with my flared jeans rolled up really high. :) Ha Ha.

I don't like them either. If I did buy a pair I'd probably rip the hem out and wear them normally.

ooh I can add one. I hate hate hate when people have words written on their butt. It just compels me to stare there when I totally don't want to. I can't seem to stop myself, and it's even worse when the person is not too sightly ;) If you aren't 14 or younger, please don't do this.

I like those cuff pants because it saves me having to actually buy jean capri and now I can just cuff up my regular jeans. I am for any fashion that saves me money.

I love capri pants. I think they make you look petite I wear them all year round. Now the boots with capri thing from this winter I thought was stupid.

I like capri pants also. I have terrible varicose veins on one leg and am too self-conscious to wear shorts in public. Capri pants cover up the varicose veins and keep me cooler than full-length pants.

I love capris. I'm 5'10 so any normal pair of pants tends to look like capris on me anyway! LOL.

What I don't like is boots with capris. If you have to wear boots, you shouldn't be wearing something like capris.

I also don't get the Ugg miniskirt... But that's a whole different story.

I LOVE capris. They are one of the few fashions woman friendly. For those of us who DONT have great legs they are WONDERFUL.

I love them and old navy has great ones. I like the ones you can roll up too.

Oh well I should dress older but yuck.. tucking in shirts, high wasted pants.. now those are styles I don't like. My daughter has taught me well

Ahem, yes, well... er, ummmm... Okay, okay! I have three pairs! White ones, khaki ones and denim ones and I LOVE them. They make me feel good. I don't know why. They make me feel like I have decent legs. So there!

Why? She's a teen & they're into trends? It really just looks silly on women. They do look cute on young girls.

I don't get it either! And capris are cute on other women but because I have really small ankles, they seem to make me look freakish.
