New Custom Made Workout Clothes

The new blue outfits look great. Please tell us when and where we can purchase them. They look well made and comfortable.
Lina:)

Cathe and SNM,

Please offer a petite length in the pants.

Cathe--you, your crew, and your product are top-notch! I can't wait to get the workouts.

Thank you!

Betty

Personally, I find the new outfits rather dull. I am not a fan of navy or brown and I don't like capri style pants on anyone.

Perhaps the other outfits will grab me, but I am not impressed with the ones I've seen.

I would certainly be willing to purchase an outfit if one is more like what the crew wore in the latest series.

I do like like the barbell holder with Cathe's name on it.

I wonder if Cathe will offer that because I definitely would purchase one of those if the price is right.

Wow, I guess the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all" seems to be lacking here. Everyone has different tastes, and yes you have your opinion, but you could have said it a little nicer. Actually, I love capri style pants as well as the new outfits.

I agree! I love the new outfits and the colors! They look fresh and very flattering. My favorite outfits are the brown ones!! So cute! :)

Carolyn

I love the outfits and just hope I can afford them.:) Is there any end to Cathe's talents? Now she can add designer to to her list of accomplishments.:)

I wanted one of those dumbells stands the moment I saw them too. Hope I can round one up. A Cathe logo sticker would be great too.;)

Sandra

I love the navy blue; its my favorite color!!! And brown is the new black!? Actually, I really think that anything Cathe and her crew wear looks awesome; they are all in great shape!!! They could wear burlap potato sacks and look good.:7 And some of us would buy the sacks,if they were sold with the Cathe logo on them, too!!!;-)

this is a perfect example of why this forum is so one-sided.... NO ONE is allowed to have an opposing view (oh... you say she can have an opinion... but i've seen enough posts from cathe-ites to know none of them really believe that!)

forums are for discussing.... a discussion may very well have opposing views (i.e. i don't care for one of the background exercisers that so many others love.... the problem is at this forum you aren't allowed to mention that..... or in this case... she... and others if you read the other fitness forums.... don't really care for the outfits...)

now i will agree that this particular poster has a history of being harsh... maybe that's where the comment comes from?

i do know that others have made comments on other forums specifically saying they wouldn't come here saying they didn't like the outfits because of "fear" of getting flamed....

so i'll say here... i'm not fond of the outfits.... and i wouldn't purchase them.... i'll be in the minority of those who will post.... because so many won't want to take the keyboard lashing for daring to say something less than glowing about something related to cathe.... but i think SNM needs to hear both sides (and even why people don't like them) if they are going to make an informed decision on whether or not to make them available for purchase....

you can't shut off an opposing view... that's just as "rude" as telling her not to say anything if she doesn't like the outfits...

(and the same goes for the workouts.... people will have different views.... the ones who don't like it have just as much right to state their opinions as those that like them have!)

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I don't like them either! And you are right: very often the only actually accepted "opinion" is the one that pays lip service to the status quo.

I've never thought Amy to be harsh. She speaks her mind and many of us get harsh treatment by return because we share this characteristic. Never mind.

Navy blue 'aint for everyone. I can't wear it. I hate capris too! But, I really don't care if the outfits are offered for sale or not. Those who want them can buy them, those who don't can just ignore the whole thing. I intend to!

Someone said yesterday, with reference to the outfits, that Cathe didn't look so good in the long sports tops. Personally, I think that the navy outfit she wears is very polished and professional. But we are all rather arrogant. Why on earth should any of the exercisers care what we think of their outfits? Why do any of us believe we are entitled to air our opinions on other people's choices? The crew choose their outfits supposedly so they can work out in comfort and look professional. Goal achieved.

Maybe what we all really need to do is take a huge deep breath, step back from the whole thing and put it in its just perspective. In the grand scheme of things, Cathe's outfits, colours and lengths just don't matter a whole lot!

Breathe everyone!

Clare

I believe honesty is the best policy- and yes, everyone has their opinion- my only problem is how it is said or written. Perhaps I just saw the harsh tone and over reacted- who knows? I don't have any hard feelings towards anyone. Other than that, I just look forward to working out with the new DVDS:)

Okay, I personally love the outfits and I love navy and brown (my DH is retired Navy and true navy blue is almost impossible to tell from BLACK! FWIW), so I like the colors and the styles.

Now I don't intend to rush out and buy new workout clothes to wear while sweating with Cathe and crew in my living room! What for??? The folks walking/jogging/driving by only see flailing arms I think from over the tv LOL.

So, Amy, you're right...navy and brown outfits are not exactly "wowing", but they look nice for what a workout. As for capris, I don't wear them normally (though I have to wear them for work...part of our summer uniform), and don't mind them on exercisers on my dvds.

If you want to know what I'm wearing this summer: white t-shirts with the sleeves trimmed off (we call these my "husband-beating shirts" LOL) and blue or grey shorts...and I'll be using my old plain, hex iron dumbells...aren't you glad you checked THIS post out?

ROTFLMAO!! Now that's an outfit I would buy!

I have to say, the kickbox outfit is my favorite so far.

The only one I want is the longer length navy top. I'm not a big fan of brown and I own enough black. I know it doesn't matter what you wear when you work out but it gives me motivation when I dress the part. And if I can wear what the instructors are wearing, even better. It makes me feel like I'm part of the class. It may be silly but it works for me.:)

I too would like to know when and where can I buy the new workout clothes. I will buy them all (whatever Cathe wears is OK with me!)

While I'm on the subject, why not add these to her current collection of Cathe Wear. Just think, you too can get the same custom made workout clothes that you see on her videos. I can hear the registers ringing happily out of control. What do you think?:7 :7

I don't have a problem with people having opposing views, and I think that people should be allowed to express them, without fear of being "flamed". I don't think that Amy sounded harsh at all, actually, I do believe that you, desertbriez, have a history of being abrasive, and harsh!;(

Hi Desert! I'm not sure what you found wrong with my post. I'm agreeing that I like the clothes, nothing else. I do find it odd however, to complain about something you can't change and something so unimportant, like clothes. How would you feel if I visited your picturetrail and mentioned that I didn't like your clothes? Or if I walked down the street and started telling people how I didn't like what they were wearing. It would be odd right?

Carolyn

I normally don't chime in on posts like this but for some reason felt the need to today. I agree with Carolyn on this.

While I am greatful for the wide variety of people and knowledge on these boards I think that some comments are not necessary. In the OD forum I say more power to you to express your feelings, whatever they may be, it is an open forum.

Now, the "ask Cathe" forum to me is a place to go to ask Cathe or SNM or fellow members questions about her workouts or issues with orders, etc... I do not think it is a place to come to "bash" Cathe or make comments on something she didn't ask for anyone's opinion on. Had she of asked us to give her advice on the outfits that is one thing but she didn't and if you don't like them, don't order them, simple as that.

I was brought up also under the "if you don't have anything nice to say" idea also but was also taught that there is a time and place to express your opinions & viewpoints and other times where it is not necessary or just plain rude to do so.
