Ahhhh! Now I know what y'all been talkin' about over the last few years re Reebok steps vs. "The Step".
I have always recommended the Reebok to anyone that asked because I thought "The Step" was like the Bollinger step (bright green platform over pink risers, I think). I bought a Bollinger several years ago when I first started stepping and really hated it. It was noisey (rattled) and I felt unstable on it, and I finally gave it to my sister and went out and bought the Reebok.
Well, I just took my first step class at a new gym and they used The Step. It's excellent! It wasn't noisey (no rattling), the platform felt very stable and didn't shift on the risers. And a good substantial weight to it. Why, I waren't scared none, not one bit!
So, I still love my Reebok but wholeheartedly recommend The Step to anyone who's shopping around for a new step.
