New avatar/pic of my boys! :-)

Hi everybody!

I updated my avatar (which was a picture from Thanksgiving '03) using one of the proofs from a color & B&W photo shoot we had done of the boys just before Alex left for college in August. It's hard to see in the avatar, but if you click on my profile page you can see the whole pic.

Alex is on the left and Evan's on the right. I'll put more of these pics up online too, when I have time -- in some of them they were clowning around and are just like two big puppies. :)

Great looking boys! with great smiles! (I think they got them from the same place :) You should be very proud. I have 2 boys a couple years apart... 10 and 12. We are inching up on a picture like that, just before one goes off to college. I've dreaded the day they would leave since the day they were born. Hope it is easier for you.
 
Kas, they are too cute for words! They have the most beautiful eyes and smiles! I know how hard it was to send Al off to college but we also know how proud your are of him and Ev. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more of the pix.

Kathy, how will I adjust to your new avatar when I have grown so used the old one? Very Pavlovian response which causes feeling of warmthin the region of the heart.

My but you have handsome sons! I know they are wonderful boys as well because, with a mother like you, the really, really, really, really, really great kind, (That's me tipping my hat to my own daughter who uses many reallies when things are THAT good.) they must be so awesome but you already know that! I love it!

You girls are making me blush!! Thanks so much -- I know I can come here and "safely" brag about our boys, who both without a doubt got the best they could from each parent!

Bobbi, I have saved my old avatar link and I'll switch 'em up from time to time. That Thanksgiving picture is one of my favorites, too. Of course, I've got so many.... :)

Kathy ~ I agree with the others. Watch out for those girls!! Good looking boys. Which one recited The Night Before Christmas at 2 1/2?

I can't even imagine the day my kids are off to college! :-(

Kathy, I think that's a wonderful idea to switch them off. They are fine looking boys. It's no wonder you are such a proud mama! Sam's 8 and still lets me awaken him with showers of kisses and he tells me my sandwiches are so good because he can taste the special ingredient tht only I possess. That's love and he is so sincere when he says that and if I take a single bit in just the right place, it makes a heart as a symbol of that love. He has all those things to keep me loving him madly when he is such a stinker and he does that quite well at times. :D

Kathy, those are some good-looking boys. Son number one (the one on the left) looks just like you. Is that true? It's black & white so you can't tell.

Good for you. Those boys look so handsome, healthy & intelligent. They have a lot going for them. With a mom like you, it just goes to show.
