Neoprene dumbbells

Anyone found a great place (retail or online) to get neoprene dumbbells that are a different color for each weight and have the odd 6, 7, 9, 12 lb sizes? I know, a tall order!

I just feel the vinyl get slippery when I sweat and the chrome feel yucky against my skin and the handles on the chrome are too thin for me. I'm also don't have the $$ right now to spend on the dial-ups.

i usually pick up stuff at play it again sports b/c they sell used equipment cheap. my 2s-10s are neoprene, my 12s,15s,and 20s are iron hex and my 25's are adjustable bars with the plates. makes for an ugly but effective collection LOL

They have them at Scheel's here in Nebraska (not sure if it's a national chain). Different colors and in 1-lb. incrememts from 1-10 lbs. They also have 12 lb. ones.

Try searching at Amazon.com. I was just surfing there last night and saw quite a few different colors of neoprene dumbbells at various sizes. Unfortunately once they get over 10 lbs or so there are much fewer options of colors.

fitgoddess, neoprene dumbbells are great, but they're expensive. Why not just wear weight lifting gloves?
