Okay...I'm addicted to Turbo Jam. However, I ordered MM and did it for the first time this morning. I liked it and am intrigued by the numerous other Cathe dvds. My problem is that I feel overwhelmed when looking at them all because I have NO idea what to pick. I do the Turno Jam 4 days per week for cardio. Most of them range from 30-45 minutes. I need a Cathe DVD that is AWESOME cardio, lasting at least 45 minutes. I want to add it in on cardio days. What do you all suggest???? Also, for those of you who have been doing her workouts for awhile, are any of you in shape even close to where she is? I don't mean that in an ugly way, and I know I'll never look like that because I doubt I can be that disciplined with my eating. I'm just wondering if it's possible to "get buff" without doing gym workouts. THANKS!!!!

I believe you can get good results without going to a gym to workout. Are you looking for just a Cathe cardio or her weight workouts too? She has step, hi/lo,and kicboxing for cardio, is there one you prefer? Any of her Imax workouts are very intense and they require a step. Also there are some tough cardio and circuit workouts on the Terminator and Hardcore Extreme DVD's...they run a bit longer than 45 min. Hope this helps...:)

I've had great results just doing Cathe. I broke through plateaus that I never thought I would. I feel like I look totally different than I did just 2 years ago when I found her on Fit TV. I know a lot of people say that they get results from P90X, but for me it was just Cathe.

Many of her cardio workouts require a step (which is my personal favorite), but she does offer kickboxing and hi/lo as Carole pointed out. I love her weight workouts as well. I just got the Gym Style series for this months rotation and of course it's great.

Also, many of her cardio workouts run longer than an hour, but most have premixes that are shorter. She's the best! :)

Well, I have a step...or rather the "fanny lifter" that I used when I did The Firm. It can easily be used as a step, with various positions and levels of height. I only have Muscle Max right now but used to also do kickboxing and step. I'd prefer something that requires a step, just because I feel it's a better leg/butt workout.

You could try the fanny lifter, but I don't think that it will work. It's too short. I know that WalMart and Target sell a shorter version of the step with risers along with Cathe's beginner workouts.

A lot of Cathe's step workouts are done on a step that's approx 42" (I think) long. All the Imax workouts, Step Blast (along with Step, Jump, Pump), Rhythmic Step, and Body Max 2 are my personal favorites for a kick butt cardio step workout...especially Imax 2!!!

Hi Kim,
I like TJ, too. If you plan on using the fanny lifter, I'd recommend KPC/Legs&Glutes, High Step Advanced & High Step Challenge. I used the fanny lifter prior to purchasing the high step and just so you know it is not as stable as the high step. You would have to do the step portions on either the 8" or 4" part of the fanny lifter, but it is doable. Cathe's DVDs have several premixes to meet all of your requests! I am in relatively good shape. My body type is very different than Cathe's and I am not as disciplined when it comes to eating clean. I am working on that though. I work out too hard to not see the results I want b/c I make poor choices when it comes to food. Hope this helps.

Okay....I'm hooked. Where can I get the kind of step Cathe uses? Not that I have anywhere to store it.:)

I looked at the guidelines but am still a little confused. Also, my earlier post went to the middle of this thread....I asked where I could get a "Cathe step." Anyway, which workout do you all suggest for maximum fat/calorie burn????
