I'm reading The Castle by Franz Kafka. But, hey, I just got back from Prague, where it's all-Kafka-all-the-time!

I'm currently reading The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara. Probably not your cup of tea, it's historical fiction about the Battle of Gettysburg. We're going to Gettysburg/Hershey Park in a week so I wanted to bone up on my history!

BUT, prior to this I read The Art of Racing in the Rain, by Garth Stein, and it's as such an uplifting, fun book. If you like animals/dogs, you'll love it. It's narrated by a (very intelligent) dog and such a good read!

One of my all time favorite books was recommended by someone here. It's called Lottery by Patricia Wood. A story about a mentally challenged adult and the simple but loving life he leads. I LOVE it and guarantee you would too!

Did you read the last book in the Twilight series (that is online only)? I am reading it now and LOVE it!! I am actually re-reading the first Twilight at the same time, to re-live it through Bella's eyes while I learn what the story was like through Edward's eyes. It is great!!

I also like the other suggestions! I am on vacation all summer, so I will be reading a lot...I need to exchange books with someone to save some money. I am gone too long to borrow from the library!

There's another book in the twilight series? Ive read the four that are published...is there another one? Twilight, new moon, eclipse, breaking dawn are the only one's im aware of:confused:.

It's called Midnight sun. If you go to Stephenie Meyer's website www.stepheniemeyer.com you can click on the Twilight series. There is a link to Midnight Sun.

She showed the rough version of this book to a select few people and somehow it got leaked. She was upset about this and has decided NOT to finalize the book at this time. BUT you can read the rough version on her website.

It is the same story written from Edward's perspective. I was sooooo sad when I finished the books and love that I get to continue my obsession with these characters online with this book!

It is kind of a pain to read on the computer (I like to hold a book in my hands!!), but I put the book on 75% so that I can read more of the page without having to scroll down and that has helped me a little.

What am I going to do when I finish them all????!!

Let me know if you can't find the book!! :)

While I have not read the Twilight Series, DD has and she recommended another Stephanie Meyer book - The Host.

I read this one at her recommendation and I liked it. Not usually the kind of book I read, but once I started it was hard to put down.

Jenn, i know what you mean, i was broken hearted when i finished breaking dawn. I thought "what im i going to read now?":( Thanks for the link, i cant wait to check it out!!!

I will have to check out The Host as well, Thanks:)

If you like those kinds of books you need to check out some of the Nora Roberts Trilogys, starting with the seven.

The Killer Angels sounds good to me! I love historical fiction! I'll have to put that on my Kindle list!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that was obsessed with the Twilight series! I finished last week, and think I'm in love with Edward Cullen. Ha!

I'm going through some serious withdrawl right now.

Oh yes this triology was awesome. Totally recommend it.:D Currently I am reading The Crazy School by Cornelia Read. Got it at the library. It's pretty good.

I just finished The Host and really enjoyed it. Not much romance in it, but the story line is good. I just started reading Interview with a Vampire, I'll let you know how it holds up to Twilight.
