In the Legs and Glutes workouts, there is a song that I can't figure out what it is.

It's during the part of the workout where you are laying on your back, one heel on the step, and doing glutes raises. The song sounds like they are singing "I know Corrina..." or something like that.

Can someone please help me with what song that is? I've been looking through songs I iTunes but can't find it. It sounds like a group like Earth, Wind, & Fire or another similar 70s band.

Thanks!

Susan L.G.

The music in that whole series of workouts is some of my consistently favorite music Cathe's ever used.

Thrown down the gauntlet...

Okay, I can't resist a challenge. I'll have to put the disc in tomorrow and see if I can figure it out!

Susan, I'm so glad to see your face now, rather than just your beautiful hair!

Thank you for the compliment, Pearlstrand! I was having a good hair day and made DH dig out the camera.

I'm sure somebody knows the name of the song...:D

i get many of the cathe DVD songs stuck in my head and then i have to go look them up.. the one you're asking about is called Ai No Corrida Fantisy (i think the spelling is actually fantasy):

Legs and Glutes is a 51 minute comprehensive lower body workout that incorporates traditional and non-traditional exercises as well as standing and floor exercises to strengthen and shape the leg and glute area. You will experience new and refreshing exercises all performed in unique ways (ie: heavy weight, no weight, with equipment, without equipment, fast reps, slow reps, bonus reps, rhythmic reps etc.). Be ready to get set and go as there is very little rest time between the exercises. This is definitely one to watch ahead of time and know what you'll need to do have and handy. The sound track is a lot of fun too. It features many classic songs. Here is the list:

I'm Rushing
Band Of Gold
Do What You Want
Wishing On a Star
You Spin Me Round
One Sweet Day
I Can't Go For That
Ai No Corrida Fantisy
Wonderful Life

Marnapril - Thank you!! You're a genius! I'm going right to iTunes to look for it.

Whew...back again!

I would have never guessed it was by Quincy Jones, according to iTunes.
